02 April : Full day in Pahalgam

04 April : Srinagar – Sonmarg – Srinagar ( 86 kms / 3:30 hours approximately)

After breakfast leave with a full day excursion for Sonmarg “The meadow of gold. Situated at an altitude of 9000 Ft. Sonmarg is also called “The meadow of gold” .Sonmarg lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. The place is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lake. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier, which is a major local attraction during the summer. Drive back from Sonmarg to Srinagar. Overnight stay in Hotel

05 April: Srinagar – Doodhpathri – Srinagar

Morning after breakfast drive to Doodhpathri or “Valley of Milk”, situated 50 kms from Srinagar is definitely an unexplored place in Kashmir. You will certainly love the green meadows, pristine environment and serenity. You will definitely meet a sphere who will be keeping a watchful eye on his flock grazing on the verdant meadows and some cattle and horses. On reaching the river, you can soak your feet in the clear and icy water. God, it felt like my feet were frozen and numb for a second. The best thing to enjoy here is the ride on horses to the bottom of snow covered mountains and trekking. Drive back from Doodhpathri to Srinagar. Overnight stay in Hotel.

06 April : Srinagar _ Gulmarg (56 Kms / 2:30 hours approximately)

After breakfast drive to Gulmarg “Meadow of Flowers” 2730 Mts. above sea level. The distance of 140 Kms will be covered in about 3:30 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and the highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. Later visirt local market in Gulmarg. 01 April Arrive Srinagar
Upon arrival, Pick up from Airport at 13:40 and transfer to the houseboat. Spend the day at leisure on boulevard road which one of the most famous road in Srinagar for tourists and is situated around the Dal lake surrounded by Zabarwan mountain ranges, also enjoy 01 hour shikara ride in dal Lake at Nehru Park on boulevard road. Overnight stay in HouseBoat.

02 April Srinagar – Pahalgam (98 KMS Approx 3 Hrs)
After early breakfast , Transfer to Pahalgam. Arrive at Pahalgam (the valley of shepherds) and check inn to Hotel. Free for individual activities, Visit Chandanwari and Aru. Ponies (self as union in pahalgam dose not permit this travel for non local taxis ). Overnight stay in hotel.

03 April In Pahalgam – Kokarnag – Achabal – Pahalgam
After breakfast, visit Achabal, 8 km from Anantnag is famous for its Mughal gardens was begun by Nur Jahan and completed by Jahan Ara, daughter of Shah Jahan, in 1640. It’s one of the most carefully designed of the Kashmir gardens with water from a copious springs flowing in the garden in three stone lined canals, over three terraces and three cascades, with several fountains in the main canal.There are three pavilions on the upper terrace, shaded by Chinar Trees. Situated at a height of 2,020 m, Kokernag is approximately 70 km from the district of Srinagar. Blooming gardens surround this spring, which bubbles at seven places at the foot of the forested mountain. The water of Kokernag in Kashmir is believed to have medicinal and digestive properties. And because of these properties only, the spring is also known as Papashudan Nag or the sin-cleansing spring. There is also a botanical garden and a rose garden near Kokernag, overflowing with fragrances of flowers and shrubs.Kokarnag is also the largest fresh water spring of the Kashmir valley. The word Kokernag is a combination of the two words, Koker meaning ‘fowl’ and Nag meaning ‘serpent’. Kokernag is a collection of many small springs and collectively, they all look like the claw foot of a Koker (cock). And the flowing stream resembles a moving serpent. Hence, the name “Kokernag”. The spring of Kokernag comprise of 300 canals, 129 canals for garden purposes and 171 canals for forest area.Return back to Pahalgam.

04 April Pahalgam – Srinagar – Gulmarg (145 KMS Approx 4- 5 Hrs)
After breakfast check out from the Hotel. drive to Gulmarg via Srinagar. En route, visiting saffron fields and Awantipura Ruins (1100 years old temple of lord Vishnu built by king Awantivarman), enjoy the beautiful countryside on the way. Drive through the pine forest. Gulmarg has one of best ski slopes in the world, and one of the highest golf courses in the world with 18 holes. View of Nanga Parbat if the weather permits. Fascinating views from Tangmarg to Gulmarg. A short trek up to Khilanmarg, which can be covered in about 3 hrs. is Optional. The Gondola Lift for mountain rides in also available. Stay overnight in Gulmarg.

05 April Gulmarg – Srinagar (60 kms / 1:5 hours approximately)After breakfast , Gandola ride then leave for Srinagar. Arrive in Srinagar. Check in at hotel & day at your leisure. Stay overnight in Srinagar.

After breakfast explore the time in Srinagar sightseeing of the Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh built by Asaf Khan, the brother-in-law of Jehangir in 1632 A.D., and Shalimar Bagh built by Jehangir for his wife empress Nur Jahan. All the Gardens are situated on the bank of the Dal Lake with the Zabarwan hills in the background. En route the gardens, visit a carpet weaving factory. Back to hotel & Overnight stay at hotel.
