Day 01            Reach Chennai (115km/2.5hrs)
Reach Chennai, Pick up from airport / railway station and transfer to hotel. On arrival check inn at hotel. Evening enjoy the Marina Beach. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02            Chennai-Kanchipuram – Pondicherry (Approx. 4 hrs drive)
Morning proceed to Pondicherry surface approx. 200 kms. Enroute halt at Kanchipuram and  visit Shiv Kanchi temple and Vishnu Kanchi temple. Later proceed to Pondicherry. On arrival check in hotel and evening enjoy the Pondicherry beach. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03            In Pondicherry
Morning after breakfast visit Shri  Aurobindo Ashram which is famous land mark of Puducherry. This Ashram is very famous for Yoga Meditation teachings.  Also visit Auroville, Botanical gardens, Church of Sacred Heart of Jesus, Pondicherry Museum, French Institute of Indology and Bharti Dasan Memorial Museum. In the evening relax at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04            Pondicherry – Mahablipuram – Chennai (Approx. 3 hrs drive)
Morning after breakfast depart for Chennai surface approx. 155 kms. En route visit Visit Shore temple – classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Arjuna Penance and Five Rathas at Mahabalipuram. Afternoon reach Chnnai, Check inn at hotel. Later visit half day sightseeing of Chennai including temples and museum. Evening free for beach. Overnight at hotel.

Diu Sightseeing

Diu : Daman and Diu are the two tiny union territories which were the Portuguese enclaves. Geographically, Daman and Diu are the part of the state of Gujarat and connected to the mainland of Gujarat by a causeway. Diu is a tiny island in the Arabian Sea, about 11 kms. long and 3 kms. wide, separated from the coast by a narrow channel running through the swamp and two tiny mainland enclaves.  The island’s main industries are fishing, tourism, booze and salt. #Diu Fort
Diu Fort is a very large and imposing structure, situated on the coast of the island.
This fort was constructed between 1535 and 1541 AD after the treaty signed between the Sultan of Gujarat and the Portuguese. The fort is surrounded by the sea on the three sides and a canal on the fourth side. The fort offers a magnificent view of sea. On the fort stands a giant structure which now houses a Light House and the Diu jail. The beam from the lighthouse reaches to about  32 kms. Several canons are still located on the top of the fort and peep out of the holes on the walls of this gigantic structure.

#Fortress of Panikota
Fortress of Panikota is a magnificent stone structure in the sea, built right at the mouth of the creek. This fortress can be reached only by a canoe or a motor launch. This fortress has a light house and small chapel dedicated to Our Lady of the Sea. The fortress offers a very beautiful view whether seen from the jetty, from the Fort, from the village of Ghoghla or from Diu proper.

 St. Paul's Church #St. Paul’s Church
St. Paul’s Church is dedicated to the Lady of Immaculate Conception.
This church was built during the 17th century and the most elaborate of all Portuguese churches in India. St. Paul’s Church was founded by Jesuits in 1600 and then rebuilt in 1807. Inside it is a great barn, filled with heavy dark wood, with a small cloister, next door. The main entrance of the church is adorned with volutes and shell-like motifs.
#St. Thomas Church
St. Thomas Church is a lovely simple building housing the Diu Museum.
There is a spooky, evocative collection of worn Catholic statues. Once a year, on 1 November, this is used for a packed out mass. There are also some remains of the Jain temple. There is a guest house upstairs and you can also climb the roof for amazing views.

Gangeshwar Temple is situated 3 kms away from the Diu town in Fudam village. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. There are five lingas which are located in the middle of the rocks on the seashore, and are washed by the waves of the sea. It is believed that these lingas were established here by the five Pandava brothers of the Mahabharata during their exile.

Neil Island Sightseeing

Neil Island : Neil is a tiny but beautiful island located 37 Kms. to the south of the Andaman Islands. With unexplored coral reefs, brilliant bio-diversity, white sandy beaches and tropical forest and vegetation, it is one of the hot tourist spots in the Andamans. Neil Island is known as the ‘vegetable bowl’ of the Andamans. The settlers named the beaches after mythical characters of the epic Ramayana (Bharatpur, Laxmanpur, Sitapur, Ramnagar etc.) The island, with its very relaxed vibes and long, deserted beaches is a place to chill out after the “bustle” of Havelock. The widest part of the island is about 5 km in length. You can walk the whole island in about two hours.

#Neil Island Jetty
As you disembark from the boat at Neil Island Jetty and walk towards the market village of Neil Kendra, the beach appears before you is in the form of a long arc. Neil Kendra, a gently curving bay of white sand, straddles the jetty, scattered with picturesque wooden fishing boats. Neil Kendra is the heart of the island. On the left side of the jetty is Bharatpur Beach and on the right Laxmanpur Beach.

#Lakshmanpur Beach
The secluded beach of Lakshmanpur lies 2 km north of the Neil jetty. The beach is a broad spur of white shell sand with shallow water and offers a good snorkeling option. Sunbathing and swimming are other activities. One can view spectacular sun-set from this beach. This rocky beach lies about two kilometers from the jetty with lots of coral formation , ornamental fish, sea urchins,sea cucumbers, star fish etc. which are best suited for people of scientific temperament. The rocky surface can get slippery and one needs to be on ones guard. The main attraction here is the natural rock formations.

Bharatpur is one of the best beaches known for swimming and coral-watching with a vast sandy stretch.
This beach is ideally recommended for youngsters because of activity options. One can hire glass-bottom boats for coral viewing. The Sea around the Jetty area is full of corals with schools of fish swimming around. The colour and form of vegetation along the beach soothes the senses.
#Sitapur Beach
This beach is exposed to the open sea and thus prone to higher tides. It is 5 kilometers to the south and at the tip of the island. This beach is best suited to watch the sunrise with an impressive backdrop of natural vegetation and limestone formations. The journey from the Jetty to Sitapur beach itself is refreshing with green fields and a variety of crops and forest trees.

This tiny island is located at the southern tip of Neil Island and is locally known as ‘Chhota’ Neil (‘Small’ Neil). This island has been declared a wild life sanctuary and is a turtle-nesting ground. Individuals have to obtain permission from the Deputy Range Officer, Forest Department at Neil Island to visit this island. Only day visits are permitted.

Havelock Island Sightseeing

Havelock Island : Havelock is one of the most important tourism destinations of the Union Territory of Andaman & Nicobar. It is one of the few islands that is inhabited, although most of it is a natural paradise, replete with white sand beaches, coral reefs with a colourful array of aquatic life, palm trees, as well as dense forests in the interiors. Inhabited mainly by Bengali settlers, the island houses a number of small villages. Covering an area of 100 sq. km, it lies on the northeast of Port Blair, 54 km by road and 33.5 km by sea. The pristine island is a great base from which to hike, fish, kayak and sail to other islands. It also offers some brilliant snorkelling and diving opportunities. The beach is located at a distance of 7 km from Dolphin Yatri Niwas. Radhanagar beach is rated as Asia’s best beach and has also positioned itself in world’s top ten beaches.
It is known to be one of the best places for nature lovers as it offers a wide range of flora and fauna. Elephant Beach, located at a distance of around 10 km from the market, is one of the most popular beaches in Havelock Island for day trips. Known for its beautiful corals and exotic marine life, this beach is ideal for snorkelling. The shoreline of the Elephant Beach was largely swept by the Tsunami that occurred in 2004. The Pazhassi raja Museum is situated in East Hill, at a distance of 5 km from the Kozhikhode town. It houses several historical and archaeological art facts that are significant to the region such as the antique bronzes, gold coins, old paintings, ancient umbrella stones and monuments that are megalithic in nature such as the dolmonoid cysts. The art gallery and museum was named after Pazhassiraja Kerala Varma of the Padinjare Kovilakom of the royal family of Kottayam. #Peruvannamuzhi Dam
Peruvannamuzhi is situated about 60 km northeast of the district headquarters. The Peruvannamuzhi Dam is located amidst the hills and serves as an ideal picnic spot. The reservoir offers facilities for rowboat and speedboat cruises that include a visit to the ‘Smaraka Thottam,’ a garden built in the memory of the region’s freedom fighters. The Kadalundi Bird Sanctuary is situated at a distance of 19 km from Kozhikode and has a river running across it. It is spread over a cluster of islands and is surrounded by hillocks, where the River Kadalundi flows into the Arabian Sea. The hillocks provide a good view of the sea and the river mouth. The place is locally known as Kadalundi Nagaram. The sanctuary houses some 100 different species of native birds and more than 60 species of migratory birds such as terns, seagulls, sandplovers, sandpipers and many more. Puri Sightseeing

Meaning of the word Sindhudurg in Marathi language is a fort that is built on Ocean floor. Sindhudurg Fort is said to be built under the supremacy of King Shivaji with the assistance of over 100 Portuguese architects and over 1000 workers. It took about 3 years for the workforce to complete this fort from the year 1664 to 1667.  The foundation of the fort consists of about 4000 mounds of iron and is spread over 50 acres of land. This fort, which also houses the temples of Hanuman, Jarimari and Goddess Bhavani, was constructed under the supervision of Hiroji Indulkar, who was a noted architect of that era. The rampart of the fort consists of 42 bastions and it boasts of a height of 4 km.
