27 May Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot {36kms drive & 6kms Trek (one side)} HT : 3235 MTS. Yamunotri Temple: Maharani Gularia of Jaipur built the temple in the 19th Century. It was destroyed twice in the present century and rebuilt again. Surya Kund: There are a Number of thermal springs in the vicinity of the temple, which flows into numerous pools. The most important of these is Surya Kund. Divya Shila: A rock pillar, worshipped before entering the Yamunotri Temple. |

28 May Barkot – Uttarkashi (100kms/4hr) HT :1352 MTS. Uttarkashi is home to a number of ashrams and temples and also to the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering. The name of the town reflects its similarity to and location (as north of) the city of Kashi (Varanasi). Similar to Varanasi, town of Uttarkashi is situated on the Ganges, lies next to a hill named Varun Parvat, on confluence of two rivers Varuna and Asi, has a ghat called Manikarnika Ghat and has a temple dedicated to Shiva (Kashi Vishwanath Temple) in the center of the town. Vishwanath temple – Vishwanath temple is one of the oldest Shiva temples in Northern India. Re-constructed in 1857 by Maharani Khaneti Devi of Tehri State in the ancient architectural style. It is situated at the heart of the town. A massive iron trident, symbolic of divine mother’s, is erected and worshiped from time immemorial at the temple complex. Ganeshji, Sakshi Gopal, Markandeya Rishi’s small shrines are also part of the temple complex. Akhand Jyoti as well as Akhand Abhishek, special aarti at morning and evening are offered. As per Skunda Puran, Uttarkashi is known as ‘Saumya Varanasi’, the abode of Lord Shiva in Kaliyug and counted as one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. Shakti temple – Right in front of the Vishwanath temple is Shakti temple. It has a big ‘Trishul’ of about 6 meters in height and a circumference of 90 cms. at bottom. Though there are different views about the making of this, the upper part of it seems to be made up of iron and the lower one is of copper. As per the epics this Shakti was thrown on the devils by the Goddess Durga(Shakti), hence it gets its name. Since then this Shakti is erected over here |

Drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. Check in Hotel. Later at evening visit Badrinath Temple for Aarti. Overnight stay. Badrinath one of the ‘Four Dhams’ is one of the most celebrated pilgrimage spots of the country and is situated at an elevation of 3,133 meters, guarded on either side by the two mountain ranges known as Nar & Narayan with the towering Neelkanth Peak providing a splendid backdrop. This revered spot was once carpeted with wild berries. Thus the place got the name “Badri van”, meaning “forest of berries”. Vyas Gufa (cave) : Near Mana Village, this is a rock-cave where Ved Vyas is believed to have composed the Mahabharata and the pauranic commentaries. |

Departure from Sahastra-Dhara Helipad at 7:00 Am. and arrival Barkot Helipad at 7:45 am. On arrival transfer to hotel by our ground staff. Temple is 6 kms. and which is coverd by Palki. Total journey will take approx 5-6 hrs. Evening will be return and Overnight at hotel. |

27 May Barkot (Yamnotri) – Harshil (Gangotri) 06:35 Departure Kharsali helipad, Yamunotri 07:00 Arrival Harsil Helipad
Harsil is one of the most beautiful and picturesque valleys in Uttarakhand. Some people also call it mini Switzerland. Gangotri temple is about 22 kms from Harsil helipad and the drive by car takes 50 minutes. It is advisable that passengers leave straight for temple from helipad. Our ground staff will assist the passengers with darshan at Gangotri temple. After return from temple passengers can take lunch in resort and thereafter relax and have campfire in the evening. It is recommended to visit the nearby village for an evening walk and buy pure wool stuff (sweaters, shawls n mufflers) made by local tribal womenfolk. |

Early Morning ready for Special Abhishek Puja (as your own cost ) at Badrinath temple is the highlight of this entire yatra. It starts sharp at 4.30 am in the morning and lasts for 2 hours. Passengers will get an opportunity to sit inside the temple and have darshan of the shringar of the deity from very close quarters. After darshan return back to hotel hav breakfast and fly for Dehradun. On arrival at Dehradun helipad you will transfer to Airport / Railway station. GUIDELINES FOR PASSENGERS • There is very limited space for luggage in the chopper. Only 5 kg luggage per passenger will be permitted. • Passengers bringing excess baggage would not be allowed to take the same in the chopper. Passengers should carry only handbags as suitcases cannot be kept in the helicopter. • All temples in Chardham are located in high altitude areas. • Passengers are advice to carry regular medical kit. • At these locations, it becomes cold throughout, so passengers must carry woolen clothes with them. • Children above the age of 2 years will be considered full ticket. TERMS AND CONDITIONS Available Hotel properties at Yamunotri and Kedarnath are non-star category and the stay is arranged at best amongst them. However at Harsil and Badrinath the accommodation standard is 3.5 Star. The booking has to be done in advance with a deposit of 50% of the charter amount. Heritage aviation reserves the right to postpone the timings of flying subjected to weather conditions. Full amount has to be deposited 14 days prior to date of journey. CANCELLATION POLICY : If passengers wish to cancel their booking then they will have to pay following cancellation charges: -If cancelled before 7 Days from the date Journey— 25% of amount -If cancelled between 7 days to 48 Hrs from date of Journey — 60% of amount -Less than 48 hours before Journey — No Refund Rescheduling of booking to a next date will be done subject to availability and on payment of 25% of the cost. This will be permitted only if applied 7 days before journey date. In case the rescheduling is requested with less than 7 days to the journey then booking will be treated as cancelled and a fresh booking will be given subject to availability.
