| 1st Day (Wed 26th August) : Madurai – Arrival and Sightseeing Pick up from Madurai Airport and drive to the hotel, on arrival check in. Proceed for local Sightseeing (if time permits) else day at leisure or own activities and overnight stay at Madurai.Madurai is a major city and cultural headquarters in the state of Tamil Nadu. | 2nd Day (Thu 27th August) : Madurai to Tanjore – Transfer and Tanjore Sightseeing After breakfast checkout from hotel and transfer to Tanjore, on arrival check in to the hotel. If time permits proceed for local Sightseeing and overnight stay at Tanjore.Thanjavur formerly Tanjore, is a city in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Thanjavur is an important centre of South Indian religion, art, and architecture. Most of the Great Living Chola Temples, which are UNESCO World Heritage Monuments, are located in and around Thanjavur. The foremost among these, the Brihadeeswara Temple, is located in the centre of the city. Thanjavur is also home to Tanjore painting, a painting style unique to the region. Thanjavur is the headquarters of the Thanjavur District. The city is an important agricultural centre located in the Cauvery Delta and is known as the “Rice bowl of Tamil Nadu”. |

| 4th Day (Sat 29th August) : Rameshwaram – Full Day Sightseeing – with Dhanushkodi Dhanushkodi is an abandoned town at the south-eastern tip of Pamban Island of the state of Tamil Nadu in India. It is south-east of Pamban and is about 24 kilometres west of Talaimannar in Sri Lanka. The town was destroyed during the 1964 Rameswaram cyclone and remains uninhabited in the aftermath. |

| 5th Day (Sun 30th August) : Rameswaram to Kanyakumari – Transfer & Sightseeing After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Kanyakumari on arrival check in to the hotel. Proceed for local Sightseeing (if time permits) else day at leisure or own activities and overnight stay at Kanyakumari. Captivating Kanyakumari the southernmost end of Tamilnadu and the lands end of India is one of the most popular tourist spot of the country. The beautiful town on the very tip of the Indian Peninsula is set on the confluence of the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean. The town is at its best during Chaitra Poornima (full moon day in April), when the Sun and Moon are face to face at the same horizon. | 7th Day (Tue 1st September) : Kovalam – Trivandrum Sightseeing Start your day with a sightseeing tour of Trivandrum, (Thiruvananthapuram) literally means ‘the abode of Anantha’, the snake God. The main attraction of the city is the Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple dedicated to Vishnu (also known as Padmanabha) reclining on the snake Anantha. The imposing gopuram (gateway tower) and intricate sculptures of the temple make it a very popular tourist attraction. Later visit Napier Museum, an art and natural history museum which houses a collection of archaeological and historic artifacts, bronze idols, ancient ornaments, a temple chariot and ivory carvings. Sri Chitra Art Gallery (Closed on Mondays & Wednesday forenoons) displays the original paintings of Raja Ravi Varma which houses a collection of paintings from the Rajput, Mughal and Tanjore schools. The collection also includes unique copies of Indian mural paintings from prehistoric times down to the 18th century. Overnight stay at Kovalam. |
