Byzantine Hippodrome : The former center for entertainment, sports and political activities in the city during the Roman and Byzantine Empires. You will be able to see the Obelisk from Egypt, Serpentine Column from Delphi and fountain of Willhelm II.

Grand Bazaar : The oldest and the largest covered market place in the World with nearly 4.000 shops fuul of rich collections of carpets, jewellery, leather, and souvenirs.

Topkapi Palace :The great palace of the Ottoman sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries housing an exquisite collection of cyrstal, silver, and Chinese porcelain, robes worn by the sultans and their families, the famous jewels of the Imperial Treasury, miniatures, the Holy Mantle; enshrining relics of the Prophet Mohammed

* Treasury and Harem sections in Topkapi Palace are not included in the program and are due to extra entry.

Sultans Tombs : There are five tombs of Ottoman Sultans within the graveyard at St. Sophia. The ceramic panels are the most beautiful examples of the 16th century with purple, green, blue, and red flower motives. Prince robes and a small piece from the Kaaba covers are displayed on the sarcophaguses.

Topkapi Palace is closed on TUESDAY and this tour will be replaced with the Two Continents Tour on tuesday.

Grand Bazaar is closed on Sundays.

Princess Island (Buyuk Ada) : Cruise the beautiful Marmara Sea to Princes’ Island by boat.Take the ferry to one of the Princes’ Islands, Buyukada (Big Island) which is a quiet sea front town and summer holiday escape from the city. Leaving the Golden Horn by ferry, you will round Sarayburnu (Seraglio Point), the headland on which the domes and minarets of Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque can be seen. We will pass four islands with their charming old Ottoman houses and finally reach Buyukada, the largest of the islands. Upon arrival to the island, you will see the lavish Ottoman mansions and other beautiful Victorian summer villas around the island . Depart from your hotel to visit Red valley through Cavusin and explore the famous rock- cut churches and hike 2 km. Then visit Cavusin village. Old Cavusin was abandoned several decades ago due to avalanches. The current village of Cavusin is located on the road. Old Cavusin, with its rock-cut dwellings and stone houses, had several hermitages. After lunch drive to the Pigeon Valley. In the afternoon visit Underground City, where early Christians lived in fear and faith. The houses in the village are constructed around the nearly one hundred tunnels of the underground city, which is one of the most interesting underground settlements in Cappadocia. The underground city was originally carved out as eight floors; however four floors are available to visit. In wartime about 5000 people can refuge in. The tunnels are still used today as storage areas, stables, and cellars.

“Antalya City & Waterfall Tour 

.We pick up our guests from the hotels. The pick up time is from 08.00 till 09.30. It is up to the location of the hotels.

And then we take them for Duden Waterfall: Düden Waterfalls are a group of waterfalls in the province of Antalya, Turkey. The waterfalls, formed by the recycle station water, are located 12 kilometres northeast of Antalya. They end where the waters of the Lower Düden Falls drop off a rocky cliff directly into the Mediterranean Sea.

Duden Waterfall: After you free time, you will meet your guide at the meeting point and continue towards the Duden Waterfall. The guide will take you to Antalya’s cliffs and from there you can observe and admire the waterfall which is 40 meters high. The waters of Duden Waterfall are going into the Mediterranean Sea.

Break for lunch: We will have a break for lunch. It takes approximately an hour. And then we will go on the tour.

Antalya Old Town: What follows is some free time in Antalya’s Old Town, to spend as you wish. During the free time you can proceed with sightseeing as all the main attractions are in a short distance. Some of the attractions include the Hadrian’s Gate, the Clock and Bramn Tower. In addition, you can walk around the Old Town and explore the lifestyle of the local people and the charm of the city.

TOUR ITINERARY        

Drive to Pamukkale that has the meaning of   the Cotton Castle in English. Once known as Hierapolis, famous for healing thermal / mineral Baths and beautiful snow-white “petrified waterfalls. After lunch visit Hierapolis, including the magnificently preserved Necropolis, the main Street and Gates, the thermal Baths, the devil’s hole, and Masterpiece Theater. Pamukkale terraces are made of travertine, a sedimentary rock deposited by water from the hot springs. In this area, there are 17 hot water springs in which the temperature ranges from 35 °C to 100 °C The water that emerges from the spring is transported 320 meters (1,050 ft.) to the head of the travertine terraces and deposits calcium carbonate on a section 60 to 70 meters long covering an expanse of 240 meters to 300 meters. Swimming or a therapeutic bath in a hotel pool’s hot spring mineral Waters.

Guests must be able to walk approximately 0, 5 miles over of travertine without shoes.

A hat and plenty of sunscreen are recommended. The order of the tour itinerary may vary in order to avoid congestion. Guests should watch their step at all times in order to avoid injuries because the waterfalls can be slippy. Due to the nature of this tour, it is recommended for guests with walkers or wheelchairs till waterfalls. Bring sunscreen and a hat, as shade is limited and bring swimwear for walking in the water at Pamukkale which is the snow-white “petrified waterfalls.

Another day at fascinating Athens!

From the Acropolis to Omonia Square, with the half-day sightseeing and Acropolis museum tour you’ll see all the famous sites of ancient and modern Athens on this comprehensive morning tour. 30 April: Arrival in Bagdogra Airport to Phuentsholing (4 hrs)

After arriving in Phuentsholing, complete the permit formalities and check into the hotel and relax. Phuentsholing– Phuentsholing is the border point for any goods and services entry/exit into Bhutan. Phuentsholing lies opposite to the Indian town of Jaigaon and cross-border trade has resulted in a thriving local economy. Overnight in Phuentsholing, altitude 300m.

01 May  Phuentsholing to Thimphu (5 hrs drive)

Start the scenic journey towards Thimphu. The feeling of exhausted and crowded in Phuentsholing comes to the end after half an hour drive uphill, you will start feeling fresh and enjoy the scenic beauty of the nature. The journey will pass through some of the most beautiful broad leaves forest to temperate alpine zone, villages, towns, water fall, hills and mountains until we reach Thimphu, creating the history for you. Roadside Stops: Leg stretch break for having tea/coffee, using restroom and taking photographs at scenic places like waterfalls, landscapes, and villages. Chuzom- Meeting point of two rivers (Thimphu & Paro) this is tri junction of highway leading to Thimphu, Paro and Phuentsholing into three directions. Enjoy the lovely picture of beautiful portrait of our King and Queen placed at Chuzom which is so welcoming to all who visits Bhutan. 02 May Thimphu Sightseeing

Thimphu- This bustling little city is the main center of commerce, religion and government in the country. Thimphu is the most modern city with an abundance of restaurants, internet cafes, nightclubs and shopping centers. However, it still retains its cultural identity and values amidst the signs of modernization, often referred as world only city without traffic lights. Visit Buddha viewpoint: The Buddha Dordenma is located at a top of the hill in Kuensel Phodrang Nature Park and overlooks the southern entrance to Thimphu valley. Simply Bhutan: Simply Bhutan is a living museum and photo studio that gives a good guided introduction to various aspects of Bhutanese traditional lives.  Visitors are greeted with a shot of local arra (rice spirit), before being guided through mocked-up village scenes. Along the way, you can dress up in traditional clothes, try out archery and hear songs sung by Bhutanese women as they build houses out of rammed earth. Zilukha Nunnery: Built more than half a century ago, Zilukha Nunnery is also known as Druthob Goemba. Housing around 60 nuns in its premises, a visit to the site energizes the soul because of its peaceful surroundings, which lures one’s mind to never leave the site. From here, the spectacular view of Tashichho Dzong can be captured in a camera to make for a beautiful photo album. Start the most scenic drive to Punakha from Thimphu over dochula pass which takes about two hours. After the break at Dochula, the road descends into Wangdue and Punakha taking us to one of the warmest places of Bhutan. Dochula pass: The pass is at a popular location as it offers a stunning 180-degree panoramic view of the Great Himalayan Mountain ranges. The view is especially scenic and very clear on winter days with snowcapped mountains forming a majestic backdrop to the tranquility of the 108 chortens gracing the mountain pass.

05 May In Punakha  

After breakfast visit Punakha Dzong: Built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, the Dzong was named Druk Pungthang Dechen Phodrang (Palace of Great Happiness). Punakha is still the winter residence of Je-Khenpo religious head of Bhutan. King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck convened the first National Assembly here in 1952. This is one of the finest and must see Dzongs of Bhutan. The Dzong stands in between meeting point of two rivers, Phochu and Mochu making the most photogenic Dzongs of Bhutan. Visit Punakha Suspension Bridge: Punakha suspension bridge is considered one of the longest of its kind in Bhutan. The bridge connects the dzong with the villages Shengana, Samdingkha and Wangkha on the other bank of the Po Chhu river. In these small villages, locals sell their wares in tiny, traditional shops. Visitors can stop here for a quick and authentic view of true Bhutan.  In order to access the suspension bridge from the dzong, one must walk past the King’s palace and the cremation ground. 06 May  Punakha to Paro (3 Hrs Drive)

As we proceed to Paro, we will retrace the journey crossing over Dochula, up until Chuzom and further to Paro. The entire stretch of drive will refresh your mind and give you second chance to enjoy the great snowcapped mountain views of the Himalayas from Dochula. After our breakfast, retrace the drive back to Paro via Dochula and Thimphu. En route stop at Lamperi Botanical Park, it is a paradise for nature lover. The visitors can view 38 out of Bhutan’s 46 species of rhododendron or spot some of the 220 species of birds. There are 21 animal species known in the park which has deer, tiger, leopard, red panda and also the wildcat. Paro Airport View Point: It is located on the Hill overlooking the airport, this viewpoint offers the best view of the whole airport. Explore the tiny town: Tiny Paro town actually can offer lot more, there are many authentic handicraft shops, readily available Bhutan made products, grocery and imported garment shops beside having many small restaurants around. 07 May Paro Sightseeing

This picturesque region in the kingdom is covered in fertile rice fields and has a beautiful, crystalline river meandering down the valley. Paro has more of historical sites, high-end tourist resort and many souvenir shops for shopping including world famous Taktsang. Taktsang Monastery (Tiger Nest Temple): is Bhutan’s most iconic landmark and religious Buddhist site in the world. The name Taktsang translates to “The Tiger’s Nest”. The temple is one of the holiest sites in Bhutan which clings impossibly to a sheer cliff face 900 meters above the valley. Although good trekkers can make it to the top in two hours, most of the guests take whole day to complete the hike. Overnight in Paro.
