DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL – HANOI HALF-DAY CITY TOUR (L/D) Welcome to Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. Upon arrival, greeted by the local tour guide and transfer to downtown. Leave your luggage at the hotel reception. Half-day city tour will last around 4hr, you can choose to perform in the morning 8am OR in the afternoon 1pm. Lunch at Indian restaurant (Set menu). Today, we will visit Ba Dinh Square, the largest square in Hanoi. This is where all of the city’s biggest cultural and political events take place. We will take some photos of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum from the outside. Then, the Temple of Literature which is considered as the first university of Vietnam. We visit the picturesque Hoan Kiem Lake and then take a leisure walk around the Old Quarter of Hanoi, a fascinating network of narrow alleys and shop houses also known as ‘The 36 Streets’ – each street being named after the merchandise traditionally sold there, ranging from fabrics, medicines to crafts. Dinner at Indian restaurant (Set menu). Overnight in Hanoi. Please note: the standard check in time is 14:00 – 15:00pm. Early check in is not included and subject to hotel availability. Night activities suggestion: enjoy local beer at Ta Hien Streets, experience the ambience of sleepless street with life music, the young people of Hanoi and also foreign tourists. DAY 2: HANOI – NINH BINH – HOA LU – TAM COC (B/L/D) Have breakfast at hotel. A 90km driving south of Hanoi will lead you to Ninh Binh, the site of the one capital city of ancient Vietnam before Hanoi took its leading role in 11th century. The area is featured by lots of well-known sceneries, which include Tam Coc Caves and Hoa Lu ancient capital with the old temples dedicated to King Dinh & King Le reigned in 10th century. Start your day visiting Hoa Lu Ancient Citadel with Dinh King Temple and Le King Temple dating back to the 17th Century. Further discovery in Ninh Binh will be continued by visiting Bich Dong Pagoda. Lunch at Indian restaurant (Set menu). Afternoon boarding a boat trip in Tam Coc where spectacular limestone karsts jut out from the green paddy fields reminding about Guilin (China) and Halong Bay of Vietnam, which gives this scenery the name “Halong-bay-on-land”. DAY 3: HANOI – HALONG BAY – OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE (B/L/D) Breakfast at hotel and check out Morning, we will drive via the old road (3.5 – 4 hours driving) to Halong, one of the earliest World Heritages Sited designated by UNESCO for Vietnam in 1994. Check-in our boat and enjoy a lunch of fresh seafood while the boat goes about unusual seascape with thousands picturesque rocks and islets, beaches and hollow islands. We can stop to visit some karsts grottoes or just go swimming, or stop at a beach and enjoy the sunset on the sea. Lunch and dinner with local food on board. Overnight on the boat in Halong Bay. DAY 4: HALONG – HANOI – FLIGHT (AFTER 17:00) TO SAIGON (B/BR/D) You should wake up early to enjoy the dawn on the sea in the early morning. The Vietnamese call the “East Sea” by a point-oriented name “Eastern Sea”, so you may guess how miraculous seeing the sunrise over the islets of the Bay. After breakfast our boat will continue to cruise in marvelous areas, where almost each islet has its own name, adopting its shape or reminiscent like Sail Island, Fisherman’s head rock, Butterfly rock or Turtle islet etc. Early lunch/brunch will local food will be served on board. Disembark and transfer without guide back to Hanoi via the expressway (2.5 – 3 hours driving), heading to the airport for your flight to Saigon. DAY 5: SAIGON – CU CHI TUNNELS – CITY TOUR (B/L/D) Breakfast at hotel. Morning drive to Cu Chi Tunnels – the network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens. After a short introduction video showing how the tunnels were constructed, you will have a chance to crawl into a short section of the tunnels to feel the oppressive narrowness and heat inside. Return to Saigon. Lunch at Indian restaurant (Set menu). Afternoon Start city tour at the War Remnants Museum, one of the most famous historical attractions in Saigon. Coming to the War Remnants Museum, you can learn a part of how Vietnamese had struggled and fought for their independence, freedom, and peace of the nation and the locals’ perspective of the Vietnam War. The exhibits, such as weapons, documents, and photographs, display in the museum are firm evidence of war crimes in Vietnam and speak for the heroic actions of the former Vietnamese generation. We then visit the Reunification Palace, the witness of the fierce Vietnam War ended in 1975. The grand building today is a Museum and Hall of official receptions. Nearby the Palace are the Notre Dame Cathedral (view from outside only), built between 1877 and 1883 and colonial-styled Central Post Office, one of the city’s major landmarks. Late afternoon, visit Ben Thanh market, a symbol of Saigon. Have shopping time there. Dinner at Indian restaurant (Set menu). Overnight in Saigon. |

DAY 6: SAIGON – FLIGHT TO SIEM REAP – FREE AT LEISURE (B/D) Breakfast at hotel and then transfer to airport for your flight. (Air ticket quote separately) Upon arrival, transfer and check-in at the hotel. Your own time is at leisure. Dinner at Indian restaurant (Set menu). Overnight in Siem Reap. |

DAY 7: SIEM REAP – FULL DAY ANGKOR TEMPLES (B/L/D) After breakfast, we explore South Gate of Angkor Thom known as Big Angkor, 3km2 walled and moated royal city and was the last capital of the Angkorian Empire, The famous Bayon Temple was an architectural muddle, in part because it was constructed in a somewhat piecemeal fashion for over a century. Terrace of the Elephants is an impressive, two and a half meter tall, 300 meter long terrace wall adorned with carved elephants and gradual that spans the heart of Angkor Thom in front of Baphuon – huge temple mountain in the heart of Angkor Thom, Royal Palace Area and Phimeanakas – impressive rite and sandstone pyramid. Terrace of the Leper King is at the north end of the Terrace of the Elephants, a double terrace wall with deeply carved nag as, demons and other mythological beings. Last visit Ta Prohm temple which is a wonderful combination of human genius and natural beauty! Giant trees have grown here for centuries! Lunch at Indian restaurant (Set menu). This afternoon we visit Angkor Wat temple, the Cambodia’s ancient temple is one of the wonders of the oriental world. Masterpieces of decorative details as well as of architectural style, its awe-inspiring ruins survive as testament to the spectacular achievements of Southeast Asia’s greatest civilization. It is a replica of the universe according to the Hindu mythology. It is composed by the Mount Meru, surrounded by the continents and the oceans. Its extraordinary bas-reliefs, describe some Khmer epics and myths. Angkor Wat’s five famous towers rise into the sky, a geometrical arrangement of numerous galleries, adorned with beliefs and the stone images of celestial Apsara dancers, as well as portals, chambers and courtyards. Enjoy sunset at Phnom Bakheng which rises almost 70 meters above the plain where the rest of the temples are located, which gives a magnificent view of Angkor. Dinner at Indian restaurant (Set menu). Overnight in Siem Reap. Note: Because of Angkor Complex policy, with big group, we will arrange 25-seater bus(es) accordingly to transfer within the complex.
