All hotels, including ours, are powered by solar energy, which cannot support high-power appliances such as: Room heaters,Electric kettles,Irons,Washing machines,Hair dryers,Freezers .Please help us save energy and maintain stable power for all guests. 2. Weather & Clothing: The weather remains cold throughout the year. We recommend carrying proper woolen clothing. During winters, a windcheater or heavy jacket is essential. 3. Mobile Network & Internet: Mobile connectivity is limited. Vodafone tends to work better than other providers. Please note that internet services are slow and may not support streaming or heavy browsing. 4. Eco Responsibility: Chopta Valley is a pristine and ecologically sensitive zone. We request your support in keeping it clean and green: Do not litter, especially plastic. Avoid drinking alcohol in open areas. Please refrain from using Bluetooth speakers in public; they disturb the peace of the valley. 5. Check-in & Check-out Timings: Check-in: 2:00 PM Check-out: 10:00 AM 6. Prohibited Electrical Items: Guests are requested not to bring or use electric kettles or hair dryers. These devices can overload the solar system. If used, guests may be charged for any damage caused to the inverter or power system. 7. Hot & Cold Water: All bathrooms are equipped with gas geysers for running hot and cold water. 8. No Smoking Policy: All rooms are non-smoking. Kindly step outside designated areas for smoking if necessary. 9. Dining at Chopta House – The TAHR Restaurant: Meals are served at our in-house restaurant, The TAHR.Room service for dinner is available only for senior citizens, and only in cases where they are unwell or unable to walk. 10. Alcohol Consumption & Behaviour: Drinking alcohol in open areas is strictly prohibited.Guests are requested to maintain decency and silence inside the rooms. This is a family-friendly property; shouting, loud music, or use of abusive language will not be tolerated. 11. Bonfires: Bonfires are not permitted anywhere in the valley as per District Forest Officer (DFO) orders. 12. Driver Policy: While our priority is guest comfort, we also offer food and blankets (free of charge) to well-behaved drivers. However: Drivers must know their limits. They are not allowed to dine in guest areas or demand service at the restaurant. 13. Understanding Location Limitations: Chopta Valley is a remote eco-tourism zone with natural and infrastructural limitations. We appreciate your cooperation, patience, and kind behaviour.
