22 Jan          Cochin – Munnar ( Approx. 4 Hrs drive )Arrival Cochin Airport  and drive to Munnar (04 Hrs drive). Munnar, situated 1600 Meter above sea level at the confluence of three mountain streams – Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale. This majestic hill station was once the summer resort of the British government in South India. On the way enjoy some waterfalls and natural scenic spots. On arrival at Munnar check into Hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast spend the day with local sightseeing. Places to visit are Tea Museum -displays the history and evolution of the tea plantations in Munnar. Entry fee Rs.125/- per adult, the museum is open to tourists till 5pm. If you are a flora lover, pay a visit to the Floriculture Centre Munnar. Commonly known as Rose Garden, it has over hundred varieties of flowers and herbal plants. Open from 10 am to 5 pm and charges Rs.30 per person. The Eravikulam National Park in Munnar is one of the five national parks in Kerala, with rich flora and fauna, which is home to the famous Nilgiri Thar. The park closes at 4 pm. Entry fee (Indian adult = Rs.120/-, Indian Child between 5 to 12 yrs age = Rs.90/-, Foreigner= Rs.450/-) The Mattupetty Dam / Lake is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Munnar, surrounded by lush green forest. Entry fee Rs.40/- per person. Open from 9:30 am till 5 pm. You may also engage in boating and horse rides [depend on availability] (ranges from Rs.50 to Rs.700). The Kundala Lake / Dam is one of the most picturesque locations in Munnar. It requires no entry fees, but boating activities costs from Rs.100/- to Rs.200/-. Visitors are allowed till 5pm. 24 Jan          Munnar – Thekkady ( Approx. 3 Hrs Drive )
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady (04 Hrs); on arrival check in to the hotel. Proceed for the sightseeing tour of Thekkady. The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary – declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978 is one of the world’s most fascinating wild life reserves stretching to a total of 777sq km of which 360 km is thick ever green forest. Allows visitors from 6 am to 6 pm, entry fees of Rs.33/- for an Indian adult, Rs.5/- per Indian child, Rs.450/- per foreigner adult and Rs.155/- per foreigner child. Boating at the Periyar lake is an activity much sought by tourists who visit Thekkady because wild animals can be spotted during the session. Costs Rs.225/- per person. Online booking is recommended to avoid queues. Jeep safari is a fun optional activity to enjoy if you have an adventurous bone. The charges for a safari may approximately cost Rs.1500/- per person. Visit the Spice Plantation in Thekkady, stroll around the captivating farm and discover various spices in different sections of the plantation. It charges approximately Rs.100/- per person. If time permits witness the amazing work of art of Kathakali, one of the major classical dance forms of Kerala at Rs. 200/- per person. Also get captivated by the ancient form of martial arts practiced in Kerala, the Kalaripayattu, which is said to be the oldest and most scientific martial arts in the world. Entry fees cost Rs. 200/- per person. 25 Jan        Thekkady – Trivandrum – Poovar ( Approx. 7 Hrs Drive )
Today after breakfast proceed to Poovar approx. 235 Kms, famous for its beaches. Kovalam consists of three adjacent crescent beaches. The Southernmost, known as the Lighthouse beach. On arrival check into hotel, rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay in Poovar.

26 Jan         In Poovar
Poovar is known for swaying coconut palms, endless golden sands and lush flora. Spend the day enjoying the beautiful sightseeing in and around Poovar Island. Overnight stay in Poovar.

27 Jan        Poovar – Trivandrum (Approx 30 Minutes)
Today proceed to Trivandram airport to board the flight to next destination or your hometown with lots of memories to cherish for a life time!

Today proceed for a local sightseeing, visit the beautiful Mattupetty lake and Dam, Kundla Dam, Echo Point and Top Station to enjoy the scenery. Evening is free for shopping. Overnight stay in Munnar. Optional: Visit to Kullukumalai Tea Factory can be arranged by a local Jeep at an additional cost of Rs.2,500 per jeep approx. with capacity of 5 persons in total. 26 Jan        Thekkady – Alleppey (Approx 4 hrs drive)
Today proceed to Periyar wildlife Reserve. In Periyar you could spot a family of Elephants, Wild Boar or Sambar Deer by the water’s edge. Proceed to Kumarakom approx. 120 Kms, the backwater region of Kerala. Upon arrival check in to your hotel. Rest in the evening is free to relax. Overnight stay in Kumarakom.

28 Jan     Poovar– Kanyakumari – Poovar (Approx 2 hrs one way)
Today proceed to Kanyakumari approx. 90 Kms, the southern Tip of Indian sub-continent. Visit the Vivekanand Rock Memorial, take boat ferry to reach to memorial. Ten visit Gandhi Mandapam and Wax Museum. Drive back to your hotel in Trivandrum for overnight stay.
