1st Day – (Wednesday 21st October) : NJP Railway Station to Gangtok – Pickup
Approx Distance: 125 Km • Est. Travel Time: 5 hrs
Meet and Greet on arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Stationand transfer to Gangtok (5,500 Ft.). On arrival check-in to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
2nd Day – (Thursday 22nd October) : Gangtok to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir – Excursion
Approx Distance: 120 Km • Est. Travel Time: 8 hrs
After breakfast, start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft. / 37 Kms. / 02 Hrs. from Gangtok) and further drive to New Baba Mandir (13,200 ft. / 16 Kms. / 01 Hrs. from Tsomgo Lake). Evening back to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok. Note: In case of Land slide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing. Due to winter season (heavy snow) vehicle will be able to drive till Snow point on the way to Tsomgo Lake and New Baba Mandir.
3rd Day – (Friday 23rd October) : Gangtok to Darjeeling – Halfday Sightseeing and Transfer
Approx Distance: 110 Km • Est. Travel Time: 7 hrs
After breakfast Check out from Hotel & enjoy a half day city tour visiting Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre (Closed on Sunday and 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month), Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Dro-dul Chorten & Gonjang Monastery. Afternoon procced to Darjeeling.On arrival, check-in to your hotel and rest of the day free. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
4th Day – (Saturday 24th October) : Darjeeling – Fullday Sightseeing with Tiger Hill
Approx Distance: 130 Km • Est. Travel Time: 8 hrs

Early morning (4:00 AM) visit Tiger Hill (Subject to availability of token, if not possible at the time of Sunrise, then it will be covered in day time.) and then back to hotel. After breakfast, starting at 8.30 AM, visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Ropeway (Note: Closed on 19th of Every Month), Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Temple(Peace Pagoda). Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Note: Darjeeling ropeway will be on direct payment basis. It has limited cabins (Approx. 8 and per cabin 4 persons can be accommodated), resulting in long queues due to high tourist volume. Be patient with potential delays. It could also impact your schedule for other sightseeing activities due to time constraints.

5th Day – (Sunday 25th October) : Darjeeling to Phuentsholing – Transfer
Approx Distance: 190 Km • Est. Travel Time: 6 hrs
After breakfast, transfer to Phuentsholing (961 ft.) – The Gateway of Bhutan by road from India. It is a thriving commercial centre on the northern edge of the Indian Plains. On arrival check in at the hotel. In the evening, you may choose to relax at the hotel or walk around the Phuentsholing town. Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.

2nd Day – (Monday 26th October) : Phuentsholing to Thimphu – Transfer

Approx Distance: 150 Km • Est. Travel Time: 5 hrs
After breakfast, complete the immigration formalities and begin your scenic drive to Thimphu (7,710 ft.), the capital city of Bhutan. En route, visit the serene Kharbandi Monastery, offering beautiful views of the surrounding plains, and stop at the picturesque Wankha Waterfall for photography and a short refreshment break. 3rd Day – (Tuesday 27th October) : Thimphu – Punakha/Wangdue Excursion

After breakfast drive to Punakha (4298 ft). On the way stop at Dochula Pass at 3150 m to view the higher Himalayas. The pass is approximately 25 kms away from Thimphu and is the highest point between the Thimphu and Punakha/Wangdue Valley. Another attraction is the 108 chorten/stupas (Druk Wangyel Chortens) built close to each other surrounded by numerous colorful prayer flags. Further, one the way to Punakha enjoy the winding roads and the nature at its best. While in Punakha, take a short and easy hike to visit the Chhimi Lhakhang which is also known as the “The Temple of Fertility” and was built by Lama Drukpa Kuenley, “The Devine Mad Man”. Then, visit the Punakha Dzong. Built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal the Dzong served as the seat of the Government until the time of the Second King of Bhutan. The Dzong was named Druk Pungthang Dechen Phodrang (Palace of Great Happiness). It is still the winter residence of Je-Khenpo. If time permits, visit the Suspension Bridge, which is one of the longest in Bhutan. In the evening, drive back to Thimphu. Overnight at Thimphu.
4th Day – (Wednesday 28th October) : Thimphu to Paro – Transfer then Sightseeing
Approx Distance: 55 Km • Est. Travel Time: 1 hr 30 mins
After breakfast transfer to Paro (7480 ft.). On the way visit the Tamchog Lhakhang. It was built in the 13th century by Thangthong Gyalpo who is also known as the Iron bridge builder. Situated on a hill top, we have to cross an ancient style bridge to reach the temple. On arrival in Paro, check in at the hotel. Afternoon, visit Ta Dzong – National Museum with an excellent collection of arts, relics, religious thangkha, etc. Rinpung Dzong – Meaning “fortress of the heap of jewels”. The dzong now serves as the administrative and judicial seat of Paro. In the evening, explore the Paro Town and valley. Overnight stay at Paro.
5th Day – (Thursday 29th October) : Paro – Taktshang Monastery Excursion
Approx Distance: 40 Km • Est. Travel Time: 1 hr 30 mins

After breakfast, drive to the base camp of the iconic Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) and embark on a scenic hike through pine forests to Bhutan’s most revered monastery, dramatically perched on a cliffside. Believed to be the meditation site of Guru Rinpoche, the monastery offers breathtaking views of the Paro Valley. If time permits, visit the historic Drukgyel Dzong, followed by Kichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest and most sacred temples. Return to Paro for an overnight stay.

Important Note (About Tiger’s Nest Monastery / Taktsang Monastery) Tiger’s Nest Monastery is located at 3,120 m (10,240 ft.) and requires a moderate hike of about 4 km one way (8 km round trip), taking approximately 4–6 hours. The hike is not recommended for senior citizens, guests with knee problems, or children below 8 years. The monastery can be viewed from the base camp and cafeteria viewpoint.

6th Day – (Friday 30th October) : Paro to Phuentsholing – Transfer
Approx Distance: 145 Km • Est. Travel Time: 5 hrs
After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Phuentsholing. On arrival check in at the hotel. In the evening, you may choose to relax at the hotel or walk around the Phuentsholing town. Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.
7th Day – (Saturday 31st October) : Phuentsholing to NJP Railway Station/IXB Airport – Drop

Permit for Bhutan:

Indian nationals do not require visa to travel in Bhutan. Only a valid passport or Voter Id card are the valid documents for obtaining entry permit.

Advance Online Permits

If you are traveling with an Indian Passport (with a minimum validity of 6 months from the date of departure from Bhutan), you can avail advance online permits by sending us clear colour scanned passport copy. It should reach us before 10 working days. We shall not be responsible for any rejections or similar issues in regards to the permits due to improper documents or delay in arrival of documents.
