17 June Munnar – Varkala ( Approx. 7 Hrs Drive ) After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Varkala , on arrival check in to the hotel. Enjoy Varkala Beach is a calm and quiet beach, renowned for mineral springs which are considered to have medicinal properties. A dip in the sea waters at this beach is believed to relieve one from all impurities and sins. That is perhaps the reason why the beach is also known as Papanasam Beach. 18 June Varkala – Kovalam (Approx 2 hrs drive) After breakfast leave for Varkala local sightseeing. Guest can Visit Mangrrove Village on this Day approx. 17 Kms from Varkala. Later visit Napier Museum, an art and natural history museum which houses a collection of archaeological and historic artifacts, bronze idols, ancient ornaments, a temple chariot and ivory carvings. Sri Chitra Art Gallery (Closed on Mondays & Wednesday forenoons) displays the original paintings of Raja Ravi Varma which houses a collection of paintings from the Rajput, Mughal and Thanjore schools.
