Day 1: HO CHI MINH ARRIVAL– CITY TOUR Welcome to Ho Chi Minh city! Ho Chi Minh City, formerly Saigon, is the largest city in Vietnam and a major center for commerce, finance, and culture. Upon arrival, welcomed by the local tour guide and transfer to hotel to leave your heavy luggage. Your free This afternoon, we start our day with a visit to the War Remnants Museum, which documents the Vietnam War in graphic detail. The museum’s exhibits are both harrowing and thought-provoking, and they provide a valuable glimpse into one of the most destructive wars in history. Next, we visit the Reunification Palace, which was formerly the Independence Palace of the South Vietnamese president. The palace was stormed by tanks on April 30, 1975, marking the end of the Vietnam War. Today, the palace has been preserved in its original state, and it’s a fascinating glimpse into a bygone era. We end our day with a walk through the city center, where we’ll see some of Ho Chi Minh City’s most iconic landmarks, such as: City Hall, the Opera House, Notre Dame Cathedral (view from outside only), built between 1877 and 1883, and the colonial-styled Central Post Office. Day 2: HO CHI MINH – CU CHI TUNNELS IN THE MORNING– HO CHI MINH (B) Breakfast at the hotel. Morning drive to Cu Chi Tunnels: the network of over 200 km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the war. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities, including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers, and kitchens. After a short introduction video showing how the tunnels were constructed, you will have a chance to crawl into a short section of the tunnels to feel the oppressive narrowness and heat inside. Experience the thrill of firing an M15, AK-47, and carbine rifle at the National Defense Sports Shooting Range (at guests own extra cost). This is your chance to get a taste of what it’s like to be a soldier in a war zone. With the help of experienced instructors, you’ll learn how to handle these powerful weapons and how to shoot them safely. Return to your hotel. Rest time of the day at leisure or free for shopping. Day 3: HO CHI MINH – FLIGHT BEFORE 10:30AM TO DA NANG – CITY TOUR – DA NANG (B) After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to the airport (without tour guide) for your short flight to Da Nang city (air tickets quoted separately). Upon arrival, welcomed by our driver and transfer to hotel to leave your heavy luggage. In the afternoon, we will explore the lively city of Da Nang. We will start our day by visiting Son Tra Peninsula, where we will enjoy stunning panoramic views of the city from above. We will then visit Linh Ung Pagoda, which is home to the tallest Buddha statue in Vietnam. After that, we will take a tour of the city and admire its modern bridges, pass by the Han River Bridge, Thuan Phuoc Bridge, and the Dragon Bridge. We will also visit the Love Bridge, which is a popular spot for couples to take pictures. Next, we will walk in Apec Park, which is home to a kite-shaped icon that is one of the most popular photo spots in Da Nang. Our next visit is to Marble Mountain. Climb Thuy Son (Water Mountain) by the stone stairs (round way elevator up included) and enjoy the panoramic view of the nearby countryside, and visit Huyen Khong cave before entering Tam Thai and Linh Ung pagodas where you will be rewarded by great city views and amazed by the main cave which houses a beautiful Cham Buddha sitting under a natural shaft of light. We also visit Am Phu Cave with impressive rock formations featuring the Buddhist perception of hell or purgatory. Spend time if you wish to admire the masterpieces of exquisite stone sculptures created by the skillful hands of artisans in Non Nuoc village at the foot of the mountain. Transfer back to our hotel. Day 4: DANANG – SON TRA PENINSULA – MARBLE MOUNTAINS – HOIAN ANCIENT TOWN – DANANG (B/D) – SIC Breakfast at hotel, free at leisure in the morning (No services) 14h30: Pick up guests at the hotel, depart for Son Tra Peninsula to see Da Nang’s coastal city on high, visit Linh Ung Tu – where the 67m high statue of Quan The Am Buddha – the highest in Vietnam 16h15: Visit the Non Nuoc carvings-stone village and conquer Marble Mountains, explore the beauty of the mysterious caves, visit the ancient temples hundred years: Linh Ung and Tam Thai. 17h30: After leaving Marble Mountains, shopping Local Specialities. Depart to Hoi An Ancient Town 18h00: Have a dinner at Hoi An restaurant. (Local set menu) 19h30: Walking to visit and shopping in Ancient Town, admire Hoi An at night flickering in multi – colored lantern. 21h00: Depart to Da Nang City. Send – off at Hotel. Day 5: DA NANG – BANA HILLS – GOLDEN BRIDGE – DA NANG (B) After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel. We’ll transfer to Ba Na Hills, a French-inspired hilltop resort. We’ll take the iconic cable car, which has been awarded 5 world records, to the Ba Na Hills station. From the iconic Golden Bridge, we can admire the lush vegetation and rich terrain of the Truong Son Mountains, which stretch to the East Sea. Just a few steps away from the village is the Linh Ung Pagoda, home to a 27-meter-high Buddha statue. The pagoda’s impressive facade is a testament to traditional Vietnamese architecture. Next, we’ll head to Loc Uyen Garden and Quan Am Pavilion for a walk through well-manicured landscapes that are perfect for photoshoots. The tour guide will take guests to visit Fantasy Park, join in adventurous, fun, and modern games such as Love Swing, Skiver Pilot, Fire Racing Track, Bumper Car, Ghost House… Later in the afternoon, conquer the Peak of Chua mountain at the height of 1,487m – Visit Ba Chua Thuong Ngan Temple. Enjoy the panorama view of the Da Nang City and Da Nang Bay. Go downhill by cable car and return to our hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy the beach feeling. Overnight in Da Nang. Day 6: DA NANG – FLIGHT BEFORE 10:30AM TO HANOI– CITY TOUR (B) After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to the airport (without tour guide) for your short flight to Da Nang city (air tickets quoted separately). Upon arrival, welcomed by our driver and transfer to hotel to leave your heavy luggage. In the afternoon, we will visit Ba Dinh Square, the largest square in Hanoi. This is where all of the city’s biggest cultural and political events take place. We will take some photos of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum from the outside. Then we continue to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university. The temple was built in 1070, and the gardens and well-preserved architecture offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past. After visiting the temple, we will walk around Hoan Kiem Lake, a picturesque lake in the heart of Hanoi. The lake is home to a number of temples and pagodas, and it is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. We will then take a leisurely walk around the Old Quarter of Hanoi, a fascinating network of narrow alleys and shophouses. Day 7: HANOI – HALONG – TRANSFER BY SHARED SHUTTLE BUS – OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE (B/L/D) Breakfast at hotel and check out After that, transfer to Halong – one of the earliest World Heritages Sited designated by UNESCO for Vietnam in 1994. 11:30 – 12:00 Arrive at Tuan Chau harbor, check in at the waiting room. 12:00 – 12:30 Get on Tender Boat to Verdure Lotus Cruise and enjoy Welcome drink, meet the captain, crew to get a brief introduction about cruise and safety guidelines. Complete check-in procedure. 13:00 – 13:15 Enjoy Vietnamese seafood and vegetarian lunch, while cruising in the magnificent Halong – Lan Ha Bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations in the bay. 15:00–15:30 You can choose to relax on the sundesk or explore Ba Trai Dao – Tra Bau area and the natural lagoon of Lan Ha Bay and experience kayaking here. 17:30 –18:30 Come back to our Cruise and participate in our Happy Our & Cooking Class. Take photos and relax. 19:00 Dinner is served at the restaurant. After dinner, you can join the squid fishing program, relax on the sundesk, enjoy a glass of wine at the bar… Overnight on the boat in Halong Bay. Day 8: HALONG – HANOI – TRANSFER BY SHARED SHUTTLE BUS – LATE DEPARTURE AFTER 18:00PM (B/BR) You should wake up early to enjoy the dawn on the sea in the early morning. The Vietnamese call the “East Sea” by a point-oriented name “Eastern Sea”, so you may guess how miraculous seeing the sunrise over the islets of the Bay. After breakfast our boat will continue to cruise in marvelous areas, where almost each islet has its own name, adopting its shape or reminiscent like Sail Island, Fisherman’s head rock, Butterfly rock or Turtle islet etc. Early lunch/brunch with local food will be served on board. Disembark and transfer back to Hanoi, Time at leisure on own (no services) until evening transfer (no guide) to the airport for the departure flight back to your sweet home.
