12 Oct Arrive Port Blair – Cellular Jail, Water Sports Complex, Sound & Light show at Cellular Jail Arrival at Port Blair at 10:10 Hrs by flight and transfer to hotel. Relax and rest at the hotel and after lunch (on your own) visit the famous Cellular Jail*(a witness to the freedom struggle – Closed Mondays) and then visit the Water Sports Complex. In the evening proceed to attend the enthralling Sound and Light Show (at 1800 hrs or 1900 Hrs, depending on light and sound show ticket availability) at Cellular Jail – where the heroic saga of the Indian freedom struggle is brought alive. 13 Oct Port Blair – Havelock by ferry After breakfast at the hotel, check-out and transfer to the jetty. Board the boat for Havelock. On reaching, check in to the Hotel at Havelock and relax and unwind. Proceed to Beach No 7, Radhanagar Beach, rated as the best beach in Asia. Spend the day relaxing on this beach. (N/Ac Car/ Jeep will be provided for pickup and drop; time spent 2-3 hrs). Overnight stay in Havelock Island. |

14 Oct Havelock : Excursion to Elephant Beach Today proceed to Elephant Island. Embark on the most memorable snorkeling trip, just 25 min by Boat this beach offers snorkelers calm blue shallow waters and is the perfect spot for beginner snorkelers. The boat goes right up to the beach and it’s so easy to slip on your gear and just start snorkeling. It’s also a great place to just spend the day lying on the beach and relaxing. The beach is very scenic with fallen trees and white sand giving the photographer some interesting shots. The reef here starts very close to shore at a depth of about 1 meter. The large reef is mostly made up of hard coral and has plenty of marine life. Note: Inclusive of snorkeling equipment and car pick up and drop to jetty. Overnight stay in Havelock Island. 17 Oct Port Blair – City Tour & Mount Harriet After breakfast,at 0830 proceed to Mount Harriet – the 2nd highest peak (365m) in the Andamans, which offers a magnificent bird’s eye view of Port Blair’s adjoining islands (Must see: Spot where Lord Mayo was murdered/Largest Church in Andamans/ Rs 20 VIEW /Summer bungalow of British/ The only kind of Mango tree in whole of S/E Asia/ Nicobari Hut).The summer headquarters of the Chief Commissioner during British Raj, it provides fascinating views. Return to Port Blair and start for a tour of places in & around Port Blair (1130 hrs) (City Tour) Chatam Saw Mill (one of the oldest & largest in Asia), Forest Museum, Anthropological Museum, Fisheries (Marine) Museum, Naval Marine Museum (Samudrika). 10 Oct Cochin – Munnar ( Approx. 4 Hrs drive ) Morning after breakfast drive to Munnar (04 Hrs drive). Munnar, situated 1600 Meter above sea level at the confluence of three mountain streams – Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale. This majestic hill station was once the summer resort of the British government in South India. On the way enjoy some waterfalls and natural scenic spots. On arrival at Munnar check into Hotel. 11 Oct In Munnar After breakfast spend the day with local sightseeing. Places to visit are Tea Museum -displays the history and evolution of the tea plantations in Munnar. Entry fee Rs.125/- per adult, the museum is open to tourists till 5pm. If you are a flora lover, pay a visit to the Floriculture Centre Munnar. Commonly known as Rose Garden, it has over hundred varieties of flowers and herbal plants. Open from 10 am to 5 pm and charges Rs.30 per person. The Eravikulam National Park in Munnar is one of the five national parks in Kerala, with rich flora and fauna, which is home to the famous Nilgiri Thar. The park closes at 4 pm.
