1st Day (Wed 15th January) : Cochin – Arrival & Sightseeing Pickup from Cochin airport and taken to the hotel. Spent the afternoon with local sightseeing in and around Cochin – the Queen of Arabian Sea, this is one of the finest natural harbors in the World and was one of the major centers for commerce and trade with British, Chinese, Portuguese, Dutch, etc. Sightseeing attractions in Cochin include Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jewish Street, St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets. 2nd Day (Thu 16th January) : Cochin to Munnar – Arrival & Transfer After breakfast , Transfer to Munnar . Munnar is 1800 mts above sea level and also the place of South India’s highest peak (Anamudi – 2695 mts). On the way visit Valara, On the way, visit Valara and Cheeyappara waterfalls; both of these are seasonal attractions, along with tea plantations. On arrival at Munnar, transfer to the Hotel. Check in at Hotel. Afternoon visit Rajamala (Eravikulam National Park), the best place to see Nilgiri Tahr (Hemitragus Hilarious) – the mountain goat of South India & Tea Museum . Evening have a short visit to Munnar town. You can see the beautiful tea estates like a green paradise.overnight at the hotel. |

3rd Day (Fri 17th January) : Munnar – Full Day Sightseeing Morning after breakfast full day visit to Munnar. Mattupetty dam, Echo Point, Kundala Dam, Pothamedu View Point, Blossom Park etc are some of the highlights of the sightseeing. Shopping & overnight at the hotel in Munnar. |

4th Day (Sat 18th January) : Munnar – Kumarakom Today After breakfast Proceed to Kumarakom approx. 146 Kms, Kumarakom, the queen of Vembanad, is a ‘resort’ destination. This tiny village on the edge of Vembanad Lake was practically unknown till one Henry Baker purchased land from the erstwhile King of Travancore to build himself a grand home. Kumarakom, today is a maze of modern resorts and heritage-homes-cum-hotels spilling over the island’s bank. Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary is a must-visit with its numerous beautiful rivulets and waterways. The scenic Vembanad Lake surrounded by mangrove forests and paddy fields is one of the best places for bird viewing inside the sanctuary. A large population of feathered species along with a pleasant climate make it a great picnic spot. As Kumarakom is a popular backwater destination in Kerala, a houseboat cruise is a must-do activity for visitors. A boat cruise on the beautiful Vembanad lake is one of the best ways to enjoy birdwatching in the park. One can also enjoy wildlife photography at Pathiramanal – a small island on the lake. A little ahead of Kumarakom, you can visit the backwater town of Kottayam – packed with rubber plantations and majestic old churches. Overnight stay in Kumarakom. |

5th Day (Sun 19th January) : Kumarakom to Kovalam – Transfer & Sightseeing After breakfast checkout from hotel and transfer to Kovalam, on arrival check in to the hotel. Proceed for local Sightseeing and overnight stay at Kovalam. Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach with three adjacent crescent beaches. It has been a favourite haunt of tourists, especially Europeans, since the 1930s. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing. 6th Day (Mon 20th January) : Kovalam – Trivandrum Sightseeing Start your day with a sightseeing tour of Trivandrum, (Thiruvananthapuram) literally means ‘the abode of Anantha’, the snake God. The main attraction of the city is the Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple dedicated to Vishnu (also known as Padmanabha) reclining on the snake Anantha. The imposing gopuram (gateway tower) and intricate sculptures of the temple make it a very popular tourist attraction. Later visit Napier Museum, an art and natural history museum which houses a collection of archaeological and historic artifacts, bronze idols, ancient ornaments, a temple chariot and ivory carvings. Sri Chitra Art Gallery (Closed on Mondays & Wednesday forenoons) displays the original paintings of Raja Ravi Varma which houses a collection of paintings from the Rajput, Mughal and Tanjore schools. The collection also includes unique copies of Indian mural paintings from prehistoric times down to the 18th century. Overnight stay at Kovalam. |

7th Day (Tue 21st January) : Kovalam to Kanyakumari – Transfer & Sightseeing After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Kanyakumari on arrival check in to the hotel. Proceed for local Sightseeing (if time permits) else day at leisure or own activities and overnight stay at Kanyakumari. Captivating Kanyakumari the southernmost end of Tamilnadu and the lands end of India is one of the most popular tourist spots of the country. The beautiful town on the very tip of the Indian Peninsula is set on the confluence of the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean. The town is at its best during Chaitra Poornima (full moon day in April), when the Sun and Moon are face to face at the same horizon. 9th Day (Thu 23rd January) : Rameswaram sightseeingAfter breakfast, proceed for local Sightseeing and overnight stay at Rameswaram. Rameswaram is in the Ramanathapuram district in Tamil Nadu. It is located on Pamban Island separated from mainland India by the Pamban channel and is about 50 kilometres from Mannar Island, Sri Lanka. It is situated in the Gulf of Mannar, at the very tip of the Indian peninsula. Pamban Island, also known as Rameswaram Island, is connected to mainland India by the Pamban Bridge.
