The tour takes you to two important tourist sites: Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta. Cu Chi Tunnels, known as the “iron triangle” during the Vietnam war, are a network of underground tunnels that were used as a military base for resistance to US forces during the Vietnam War. Cu Chi itself was once known as the “dead land” that was destroyed by millions of bombs. But today, the land is still alive and combines legendary historical structures with the unique culture of the Vietnamese. Mekong delta is known as “the rice bowl” of Vietnam, due to the seemingly endless fields of rice. In this water world, you will see houses and markets floating along the river. Get on the car and depart for Ninh Binh. 10:30: Car arrives at Hang Mua. Coming here in June – July every year, you have the opportunity to admire and take pictures in the lotus pond. The lotus pond in Hang Mua is special because it is surrounded by mountains, rice fields and ancient architecture. | 25 oct/Saturday – SIEM REAP ARRIVAL – CITY TOUR Reached SAI Airport at 11:10 Am. Welcome to Siem Reap – Cambodia! Upon arrival, picked up and transferred to your hotel. This afternoon, we visit War Museum for a deeper understanding of Cambodia’s turbulent past, showcasing military equipment, tanks, aircraft, and weapons used during decades of conflict. Later, we visit Satcha, the first center in Cambodia that incubates local artisans who specialize in handicrafts. The center features six amazing workshops constructed entirely with Cambodian bamboo from Kampong Cham. These workshops accommodate over 50 artisans and cover a wide range of specialties, including stone and wood carving, lacquer, painting, carpentry, jewelry, water hyacinth weaving, rattan, bamboo, leather carving, silk and cotton weaving, and sewing. Nearby is Silver pagoda (the emerald Buddha temple), where contain plenty of Buddha Statues decorated and made by gold, diamond, gemstone and silver. Then we visit via Sihanouk and the Sothearos Blvd, passing Independence Monument, Building of Naga World Casino & Chaktomuk Conference Hall (all visit from outside). Then we visit Choeung Ek museum, where between 1975 and 1978 about 17,000 men, women, children and infants detained and tortured at S-21 were transported for the extermination (As being far from city center, Cheung Ek museum might not be visited depending on the traffic and open time. Later, we visit Phsar Thmey, The Central Market, a large market constructed in 1937 in the shape of a dome with four arms branching out into vast hallways with countless stalls of goods. This is the French high-quality resort in 1990s. 09:00-09:30: The bus arrives to Ba Na Hills entrance, starting the journey up mountain by cable car, achieving 2 world records – the longest in the world at 5,042.62m – the height difference between the two largest stations in the world at 1,291.81m. Visitors will stop at 3rd cable car station and visit around some points such as: Golden Bridge (golden hand bridge), 100 year-old Debay wine cellar, Love Garden – Le Jardin d’amour, Linh Ung pagoda with a Gautama Buddha statue with 27m height. 11:30-12:00: Visitors have lunch inside a buffet restaurant on the top of Ba Na Hills. — You got free time to explore games in Fantasy Park, the largest indoor recreational area of Vietnam that spares hundreds of indoor games for families and children. 15:00-15:30: Visitors gather at the meeting points, checking belongings and enter the cable car to leave Ba Na Hills. 15:30-16:00: The group return to Danang and visit the local Silk craft village and local specialties foods on the way back. 17:00-17:30: The bus will drop you at the same point picking up in the morning – finish the tour. (Exact pick-up time will be updated after hotel information is received) 10:30: Visit Hoa Lu Ancient Citadel with Dinh King Temple and Le King Temple dating back to the 17th Century. 11:30: Leisure cycling on rural roads alongside the extensive canal network and through small villages with back drop of a maze of limestone mountains. 12:00: Enjoy buffet lunch at our restaurant with the great local cuisine. 13:30: Boarding a small sampan to visit Tam Coc which means literally “three caves” (1.5-hour boat trip). With Halong bay type views of majestic limestone cliffs and mysterious caves, as well as a countryside landscape like peaceful streams, rice paddies and deserted green fields, Tam Coc really has it all. (Exact pick-up time will be updated after hotel information is received) 12:00: Arrive Tuan Chau Harbor, welcome aboard and safety briefing. Wego Cruise will take you on a 5.5 to 6 hours journey via 2 day-sleeper boat cruise route which renowned for its striking, passages uninhabited islets and outcrops have been given imaginative names by the locals, due to their perceived shapes, including Cock Fighting and Thumb, while enjoy Vietnamese mouth-watering. Lunch on cruise. 13:45: Arrive Bo Hon archipelago, you will visit Surprising Cave to see a lot of stalagmites and stalagtiles with different shaoes of sea lives, the go kayaking or bamboo boat in Luon Cave to discovery the beautiful lagoon. | 04 Nov/ Tuesday-HANOI – HALF DAY CITY TOUR – EVENING DEPARTURE – SIC TOUR 08:00-08:30: Picked up by our friendly guide and start to explore Hanoi City. 08:45: Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda, located on Golden Fish Island in West Lake. It is the oldest pagoda in Ha Noi, which was built in the 6th Century. 09:30: Visit Ho Chi Minh Complex, you have a chance to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived and worked from 1954 to 1969. Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Goddess of Mercy. It is the most unique pagoda in the world. Notes: – Should dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, temples, pagodas… – Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays. – Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed at least 2 months (15th June – 15th August) for the annual maintaining but still can take picture of the Mausoleum and visit around that area. 11:15: Visit Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in the whole country of Vietnam. Special note: Visit Women Museum instead of Ethnology Museum, which closed on Mondays. After that, picked up by our guide and driver to transfer back to your hotel.
