1st Day (Mon 16th Nov): Cochin to Munnar – Transfer & Sightseeing ( Approx. 130 Kms / 4 Hrs )

Arrival at Cochin airport/ Hotel and transfer to Munnar . Munnar is 1800 mts above sea level and also the place of South India’s highest peak (Anamudi – 2695 mts). On the way visit Valara, Cheeyappara waterfalls. Overnight at the hotel. – Self Stay.

2nd Day (Tue 17th Nov): Munnar Local Sightseeing 

Morning after breakfast full day visit to Munnar. Mattupetty dam, Echo Point, Kundala Dam, Pothamedu View Point, Blossom Park etc are some of the highlights of the sightseeing. Shopping & overnight at the hotel in Munnar. – Self Stay.

3rd Day (Wed 18th November) : Munnar to Kumarakom – Transfer & Sightseeing ( Approx. 150 Kms / 4 Hrs )

After breakfast checkout from the hotel and drive to Kumarakom, on arrival check in to the hotel. Proceed for local Sightseeing (if time permits) else day at leisure or own activities and overnight stay at Kumarakom. A vibrant backwater hamlet, Kumarakom is a tiny hamlet perched on the western banks of the Vembanad Lake – a stretch of backwater spread over 900 sq. kms. The hamlet clings to tradition and the local population prefers to live adhering to their old ways. Yet every modern amenity is available with a dash of tradition and culture interwoven into the fabric of everyday life and it’s truly fascinating to observe as you glide past them in your canoe, motorboat or houseboat, a perfect example of give and take with mother nature. Sightseeing in Kumarakom: Vembanad Lake, Bird Sanctuary.

4th Day (Thu 19th November) : Kumarakom to Varkala – Transfer and Sightseeing ( Approx. 140 Kms / 4 Hrs )

After breakfast, drive to Varkala, Check in at the hotel, evening visit beach/ own activities . Overnight stay at Varkala

5th Day (Fri 20th November) : Varkala to Poovar – Transfer via Jatayu Nature Park & Sightseeing ( Approx. 70 Kms / 2 Hrs )

After checking out from the hotel, proceed to Poovar via Jatayu Nature Park. Jatayu Park is a massive nature park in Kerala. Jatayu Earth Center features the world’s largest bird statue or sculpture. The colossal statue spans over 65 acres of multi-terrain landscape, including caves, mountains, hills, and valleys. The Jatayu Statue is 200 feet long, 150 feet wide, and 70 feet high, making it the largest functional bird sculpture in the world. After that, enjoy sightseeing in Poovar and have an overnight stay

6th Day (Sat 21st Nov): Poovar – Trivandrum sightseeing

Proceed to Trivandrum City Tour. Thiruvananthapuram is the capital of the southern Indian state of Kerala. Trivandrum or Thiruvananthapuram is an ancient city with a history dating back as early as 1000 BC. Thiruvananthapuram is bound by the Arabian Sea in the west and Tamil Nadu in the east. Named after Anantha Padmanabha or Lord Vishnu, the city is home to many ancient temples. But the landmark is the Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple around which the city has been built on seven low hills. The wooded highlands of the Western Ghats in the eastern and northeastern borders give Thiruvananthapuram some of the most enchanting picnic spots. A long shoreline with internationally renowned beaches, historic monuments, backwater stretches and a rich cultural heritage make this district a much sought-after tourist destination. Sightseeing in Trivandrum : Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Kuthira Maligai Palace, Zoo, Art Gallery (All places close on Monday except Padmanabhaswamy Temple).

7th Day (Sun 22nd Nov):  Poovar to Trivandrum – Departure ( Approx. 30 Kms )

After breakfast, check out from the resort and proceed to Trivandrum, approximately 30 kms / 1 hour drive. On arrival, proceed for local sightseeing covering Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Napier Museum and Sree Chitra Art Gallery. Later, transfer to Trivandrum Airport/Railway Station for onward journey.
