Day 3 Dusseldorf – Cologne (Approximately 30 mins by train) Today you will transfer on your own to Dusseldorf train station to board your train to Cologne. On arrival, make your own way to the hotel. Day 4 Cologne – At leisure Today you have the entire day at leisure to experience the highlights of Cologne on your own. Overnight in Cologne.(B) Optional: Visit Cologne Cathedral,Cologne Chocolate Museum and Cable Car Ride .One can admire Cologne’s hallmark the so-called “Kölner Dom” that is one of the world’s largest cathedrals and home to the relics of the Three Kings. You can also visit the famous Cologne Chocolate museum located at the Rheinau-Harbour in the heart of Cologne and enjoy an expedition through 3,000 years of chocolate history. Later experience the unique panoramic view of the city of Cologne from the air with unforgettable impressions. Day 5 Cologne – Heidelberg (Approximately 1.50 hrs by train) Today you will transfer on your own to Cologne train station to board your train to Heidelberg. Day 6 Heidelberg – Day trip to Rorthenburg This is a full day excursion to the most beautiful and best preserved medieval town in all of Germany. Our drive leads you from the banks of the river Neckar to Franconia, along the most famous Castle Road to Rothenburg on the Romantic Road. You will have a sightseeing walk through the picturesque streets. You will see half-timbered houses, town gates and the mighty Town Hall built in Renaissance style. Visit St.Jacob’s Church with its famous altar by Tilman Riemenschneider or to the medieval crime museum. Overnight in Heidelberg.(B) |
