Arrival at Cochin airport/ railway station, meet and assistance. Transfer to Munnar. Munnar is 1800 mts above sea level and also the place of South India’s highest peak (Anamudi – 2695 mts). On the way visit Valara, On the way, visit Valara and Cheeyappara waterfalls; both of these are seasonal attractions, along with tea plantations. On arrival at Munnar, transfer to the Hotel. Check in at Hotel. Afternoon visit Rajamala (Eravikulam National Park), the best place to see Nilgiri Tahr (Hemitragus Hilarious) – the mountain goat of South India & Tea Museum . Major attractions in Varkala are Anjengo Fort, a national heritage monument built in the 17 th century by the Dutch to safeguard the coastline from foreign invasions. The strategic importance of this fort made it a vulnerable target for foreign powers for several centuries. Sree Janardana Swami temple & Sivagiri Mutt are other attractions in Varkala. Varkala is also a famous religious destination where Hindus perform obsequies for the departed souls. Arrive at Varkala and check in to the hotel. Overnight stay at Varkala.

5th Day (Sat 22nd March) : Varkala to Trivandrum – Transfer and Sightseeing

Mar 20 -Day 01: Arrive Jammu- Katra ( 50 kms / 1:30 hours approx)

Arrive Jammu upon arrival you will meet our representative and drive to Katra.  The distance is about 50 kms covered in 1:30 hours upon arrival in Katra Check into the hotel.

Mar 21-Day 02: Katra – Vaishno devi – Katra

After breakfast early in the morning we proceed further to visit the Holy temple of Vaishno Devi. This temple is situated on the top of the hill. From Katra to Vaishno Devi pilgrimage is about 13Kms. To visit the temple one has to hire a pony or travel by foot. After visiting the temple we return back to Katra.

After breakfast  Gulmarg via Tangmarg .Gulmarg  “Meadow of Flowers” 2730 Mts. above sea level. The distance of 140 Kms will be covered in about 3:30 hrs   .Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and the highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. Later visirt local market in Gulmarg. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating.One can also have a short trek upto Khilanmarg which can be covered in about 3 to 4 hrs or enjoy the scenic view of Kongdori on a Cable Car Known as Gondola (on direct pay basis).

Mar 26-Day 07: Srinagar –  Sonmarg – Srinagar ( 86 kms / 3:30 hours approximately)

After breakfast leave with a full day excursion for Sonmarg via Hazratbal Shrine, Ganderbal , Kangan ,Mamar .The drive from Srinagar to Sonamarg is very beautiful as you will pass through some Towns and villages, at many places you can enjoy the view of paddy fields with rivers flowing on one side. The name Sonamarg is derived from two Kashmiri words “Son” & “Marg” which mean “Gold” & “Meadow”, when put together it means “Meadow of Gold”. Situated at an altitude of 9000 Ft. Sonmarg is also called “The meadow of gold” .Sonmarg lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. The place is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lake. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier, which is a major local attraction during the summer.

Mar 27-Day 08: Srinagar – Doodhpathri – Srinagar

Morning after breakfast drive to Doodhpathri or “Valley of Milk”, situated 50 kms from Srinagar is definitely an unexplored place in Kashmir. You will certainly love the green meadows, pristine environment and serenity. You will definitely meet a sphere who will be keeping a watchful eye on his flock grazing on the verdant meadows and some cattle and horses. On reaching the river, you can soak your feet in the clear and icy water. God, it felt like my feet were frozen and numb for a second. The best thing to enjoy here is the ride on horses to the bottom of snow covered mountains and trekking. Drive back from Doodhpathri to Srinagar.

Mar 28-Day 09 Srinagar – Yusmarg – Srinagar (47 kms / 2 hours approximately)

After breakfast we will drive to Yusmarg. The distance of 47 kms will be covered in about 2 hours. The drive to Yusmarg is an enjoyment in itself, grassy pastures stretching to acres of land, the dense forests full of pine trees, with the backdrop of splendid snow capped mountains leave you almost speechless.
