All you need to know about Chardham yatra of Uttarakhand
Passengers are supposed to reach state government helipad on Sahastradhara Road, Dehradun which is the starting and ending point of this yatra. Our pilots and ground staff will brief the passengers about the entire trip and do’s and don’ts.

Day 01               Deheradun – Yamunotri
Reach Deheradun, Pick up from Airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02               Deheradun – Yamunotri
Early morning reporting at Sahastradhara helipad, Deheradun and depart to Yamnotri (Kharsali helipad. On arrival at Kharsali (The helipad of Yamunotri), meet and greet with our ground staff, who will unload your baggage and carry them to your hotel. Later you will be carried by palkis to Yamunotri Temple. (Helipad to temple and return approx. 5.5 kms / 5.5 hrs). Normally passengers return to the helipad by lunch time and take lunch in the resort. Later go for visit shani temple in evening. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03            Yamunotri – Gangotri
Morning depart to Yamunotri helipad and flight for Harsil at 08:30 am. Reach Harsil Helipad and depart Gangotri by Car approx 22 kms./ 1 hrs. Harsil is one of the most beautiful and picturesque valleys in Uttarakhand and some people also call it mini Switzerland. Return back to Harsil and take lunch in resort. Afternoon relax at hotel and have campfire in the evening. Evening visit the nearby village for a evening walk and purchase pure wool stuff ( sweaters , shawls n muflers ) made by local tribal womenfolk. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04          Harsil – Kedarnath
Morning depart to Kedarnath, flight from  Harsil helipad at 10:00 am.  On arrival Kedarnath helipad proceed to Temple Darshan, which is at a distance of 500 meters from the Helipad and by walk takes about 20 minutes. After darshan quickly return to helipad and  transfer to Guptkashi/Sitapur. Passengers can visit Triyuginarayan temple in evening. Overnight at hotel.
 Day 05          Guptkashi – Badrinath
Morning depart for Kedarnath / Guptkashi helipad. Take Flight for Badrinath 11:00 am.  On arrival Badrinath transfer to hotel, check-inn at hotel which is very close to the temple. Our ground staff will assist the passengers in taking Darshan at the temple. Later you visit to Mana village in evening is highly recommended as this is the last village before international border with China . Overnight at hotel.

Day 06           Badrinath – Dehradun
Early morning you can participate for Special Abhishek Puja at Badrinath temple is the highlight of this entire yatra. It starts sharp at 4.30 am in the morning and lasts for 2 hours. Passengers will get an opportunity to sit inside the temple and have darshan of the shringar of the deity from very close quarters. 11:30 am Departure Badrinath helipad. 12:30 am Arrival Sahastradhara helipad , Dehradun, This is the end of Chardham Yatra

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • The quality of accommodation available at Yamunotri and Kedarnath is just above average and so passengers should not have very high expectations. However at Harsil and Badrinath the accommodation standard is 3 star.
  • Only 5 Kg baggage per passenger will be permitted. Passengers are advised not to carry big suitcases as there is very small baggage space inside helicopter. Passengers bringing excess baggage might not be allowed to take the same in the chopper by pilot.
  • Best Season: The best season to avail the yatra on helicopter is May-June and September October. We do not operate during July-August months to rainy season.
  • There is very limited space for luggage in the helicopter . Only 5 kgs luggage per passenger will be permitted
  • Passengers should carry only handbags as suitcases cannot be kept in the helicopter
  • All temples in Chardham are located in high altitude areas. Passengers having asthma problems should not undertake this yatra
  • All passengers undertaking this yatra should be medically and physically fit.
  • Passengers are advised to carry a small oxygen bottle with them as a precaution. It is available locally at all medical shops
  • Although day temperatures at these locations are normal it becomes cold in the night and so passengers must carry wollen clothes with them.

Day 01                           Arrival Port Blair Half Day Sight seeing
Board your flight from your respective hub and arrive in Port Blair. Our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. In the evening, visit to Cellular Jail & Corbyns Cove Beach – a serene beach set in picturesque backgrounds of lush green coconut palms and pleasant sea. Later, witness the Light and Sound show at Cellular Jail the saga of countless martyrs of the Indian independence struggle who laid down their lives. The show, conducted in the premises of Cellular Jail, gives us a brief idea about the happenings in the jail prior to Independence. Return to the hotel in the evening.
Day 02                          Port Blair – North Bay (Coral Island) + Ross Island
Start after breakfast for a full- day excursion to North Bay (Coral Island) – to see coral reefs, exotic varieties of beautiful ornamental fishes and other marine life. Optional activities Snorkeling, Swimming, Trekking + visit Ross Island from where the Britishers governed the entire Andaman & Nicobar Islands, prior to Indias Independence. This island is an ideal destination for nature walk amidst sylvan surroundings with deers, peacock, exotic birds, etc. Note: All the water sport Activity on direct payment basis. Day 3                             Neil Island – Havelock by ferry
After breakfast at the hotel, check-out and transfer to the jetty. Board the boat for Havelock. On reaching, check in to the Hotel at Havelock and relax and unwind. Overnight stay in Havelock Island. (B)
Day 4                            Havelock : Excursion to Elephant Beach
Today proceed to Elephant Island. (Car will come at 0800 hrs and please ensure you are ready as the boat will leave at 0830 hrs and it is a further 10 min drive away to the boat) Embark on the most memorable snorkelling trip, just 25 min by Boat this beach offers snorkelers calm blue shallow waters and is the perfect spot for beginner snorkelers. The boat goes right up to the beach and it’s so easy to slip on your gear and just start snorkeling. It’s also a great place to just spend the day lying on the beach and relaxing. The beach is very scenic with fallen trees and white sand giving the photographer some interesting shots. The reef here starts very close to shore at a depth of about 1 meter. The large reef is mostly made up of hard coral and has plenty of marine life. Note: Inclusive of snorkeling equipment and car pick up and drop to jetty. Overnight stay in Havelock Island. Day 05                            Havelock Via Elephant Beach to Neil Island
The beauty of elephant beach starts with the speed boat ride that takes you to this heavenly beach. Snorkeling, glass bottom boat, Sea walk, scuba diving, jet ski, banana ride etc are some of the main attractions of elephant beach . Day 06                            Neil Island to Port Blair

Day 07                         Portblair – Day Tour To Baratang-Lime Stone Cave+Mud Volcono
This day long tour which starts early morning takes you through the lush green landscapes of mangrove forest. The land journey will make you reach Baratang Island which houses limestone caves and mud volcanos.
