Day 1: HOCHIMINH City ARRIVAL – City Tour (D) For airport pick-up before 7AM, there will be additional surcharge applicable. Welcome to Hochiminh City, also called as Saigon, the most dynamic city in Vietnam. Upon arrival, welcomed by the local tour guide and transfer to the down town. Check in your hotel (normal check in time is 14.00/15.00). In the afternoon, start your city tour at the War Remnants Museum, one of the most famous historical attractions in Saigon. Coming to the War Remnants Museum, you can learn a part of how Vietnamese struggled and fought for their independence, freedom, and peace of the nation, as well as the locals’ perspective of the Vietnam War. The exhibits, such as weapons, documents, and photographs, displayed in the museum are firm evidence of war crimes in Vietnam and speak for the heroic actions of the former Vietnamese generation. We then visit the Reunification Palace, a witness to the fierce Vietnam War that ended in 1975. The grand building today is a Museum and Hall for official receptions (Only Palace Hall ticket is included, Museum ticket should be paid at your own expense ~USD 2/pax). Nearby the Palace are the Notre Dame Cathedral (view from outside only), built between 1877 and 1883, and the colonial-styled Central Post Office, one of the city’s major landmarks. DAY 2: HO CHI MINH – CU CHI TUNNELS – HO CHI MINH (B/D) Breakfast at hotel Free at leisure in the morning Afternoon visit Cu Chi tunnels – the network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens. After a short introduction video showing how the tunnels were constructed, you will have a chance to crawl into a short section of the tunnels to feel the oppressive narrowness and heat inside. DAY 3: HOCHIMINH – MORNING FLIGHT TO PHU QUOC – GRAND WORLD (B/D) Breakfast at hotel and check out Morning transfer to the airport without guide for your flight to Phu Quoc City. (air tickets quoted separately) Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, we visit Grand World Phu Quoc. With a scale of 85 hectares, the area owns splendid and magnificent architecture which is inspired by the European cities. Venice River, or Lake of Love, is considered one of the best imitations of the original river in Venice City, Italy. Here, you can choose to sit on the gondolas (at your own cost) along the river to watch the romantic scenery created by a lot of sophisticated buildings. Families with children can also visit Teddy Bear Museum – inspired by The Indiana Jones movie, with more than 20 zones to observe giant or cute bears from all continents since ancient times (entrance ticket at your own cost). Remaining time is to visit other attractions in Grand World such as Bamboo House, Urban Park, or Beach Square, all are ticket-free. Dinner at Indian restaurant – Set Menu. Overnight in Phu Quoc. |

DAY 4: PHU QUOC – ISLAND HOPPING BY CANOE & CABLE CAR (B/L/D) – SIC TOUR After breakfast, 08:00am pick up by SIC guide and vehicle from your hotel and transfer to An Thoi harbor where you will embark on the canoe for an islands tour. You will pass by 12 small islets and spend time visiting 4 biggest islands of Phu Quoc including: Mong Tay Island (or May Rut Ngoai), known as the miniature Maldives of Vietnam on the island, with unspoiled beauty, jade blue sea and long, smooth white sand beach. Hon Gam Ghi Island (Dam Ngang) or Hon Bom, you can relax in the blue water, snorkel on the coral reefs, contemplate the interesting rock formations. May Rut Island with white sand lagoon – a unique place to chill out and check in with Bali bird’s nest, heaven’s ladder, ocean net bed, sun ring. Have lunch on the island restaurant (local set menu). During the visit, if you are the fan of the colorful coral reef, you can experience sea-walk exploring the coral park with 250 identical species of creatures together with the large corals reef that are preserved nowadays (your own expense). Afternoon, speed boat arrives at Thom Island where we enjoy time at Aquatopia Water Park. By end of the afternoon, embark on Hon Thom cable car (about 25 minutes) across above the ocean. During the journey of nearly 8km, freely enjoy the scenery, enjoy the pristine beauty of Phu Quoc from above, record the beautiful moments of the famous in-the-earth paradise in Vietnam. DAY 5: PHU QUOC – MORNING FLIGHT TO DANANG – CAM THANH COCONUT VILLAGE – HOIAN ANCIENT TOWN TOUR – DANANG (B/D) Breakfast at hotel and check out Morning transfer to the airport without guide for your flight to Danang City. (air tickets quoted separately) Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Afternoon, transfer to Cam Thanh coconut village. Here, you will experience basket boat ride around the coconut forest, learn about the daily life of Vietnamese fishermen, their families and their community. You will surely experience the feeling of floating on the waves of water and join a equally fun basket boat race between the baskets together in the cheering and bustling music drum. Board on boat and commence cruising on the Cua Dai River. Coconut forest is a very unique eco region, with a beautiful mangrove forest, is the habitat of many precious animals such as, crab, shrimp, fish and even animals soft body. Local people will teach you how to paddle the Vietnamese unique bamboo basket boat. You will hear stories of past wars and the harsh conditions that soldiers have to endure. Back to Hoian town. Late afternoon, take an interesting walk over the tile-roofed Japanese Bridge, visit taciturn Chinese Assembly Halls, enjoy the attractiveness of ancient houses or listen to folk music of Central Vietnam at old club-houses. Later we can stop at shrines or stroll into the market located by Thu Bon river, where you may find the same feelings of the artists, who see the rooftops of Hoian a magical old world of Oriental feel and source of inspiration. DAY 6: DANANG – BA NA HILLS WITH THE GOLDEN BRIDGE – DANANG (B/D) Breakfast at hotel. Morning transfer to Ba Na Hills for discover this beautiful attraction in Da Nang city. You will take a cable car to the summit of mountain (at 1487m of sea level). Start visiting Ba Na Hill with many different attractions: Funicular, Le Jardin D’Amour, Linh Ung pagoda, Thich Ca Buddist statue, etc. This afternoon you continue to join activities and games in Fantasy Park. Later walk to the summit of the mountain at the height 1487m – the highest one of Ba Na Mountain, visit Bell Tower, Nghinh Phong tower a and Golden Bridge, to take beautiful photos of the mountain and Da Nang city. DAY 7: DANANG – MORNING FLIGHT TO HANOI – CITY TOUR (B/D) Breakfast at hotel and check out Morning transfer to the airport without guide for your flight to City, the capital city of Vietnam. (air tickets quoted separately) Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Afternoon, visit Ba Dinh Square – the biggest square in Hanoi where all the biggest cultural, political events of the cities, especially demonstrations, take place. Start our visit at the Complex of Ho Chi Minh including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (from outside only as it closes in the afternoon), Ho Chi Minh’s house-on-stilts, his fishpond and the One-Pillar Pagoda. Continue visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, locates on a small peninsula on the East side of the dazzling West Lake, this is the most ancient pagoda in Hanoi with its history line of more than 1,500 years. Later, We visit the picturesque Hoan Kiem Lake and then take a leisure walk around the Old Quarter of Hanoi, a fascinating network of narrow alleys and shop houses also known as ‘The 36 Streets’ – each street being named after the merchandise traditionally sold there, ranging from fabrics, medicines to crafts. DAY 8: HANOI – HALONG BAY – TRANSFER BY SHUTTLE BUS – OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE (B/L/D) Breakfast at hotel and check out At 8am, head East for 3 hours driving to Halong Bay by shuttle bus, one of the earliest World Heritages Sited designated by UNESCO for Vietnam in 1994. Check-in our boat and enjoy a lunch of fresh seafood while the boat goes about unusual seascape with thousands picturesque rocks and islets, beaches and hollow islands. We can stop to visit some karsts grottoes or just go swimming, or stop at a beach and enjoy the sunset on the sea. Lunch and dinner with local food on board. Overnight on the boat in Halong Bay. DAY 9: HALONG – HANOI – TRANSFER BY SHUTTLE BUS – DEPARTURE FLIGHT AFTER 19:00 (LB/B or BR) You should wake up early to enjoy the dawn on the sea in the early morning. The Vietnamese call the “East Sea” by a point-oriented name “Eastern Sea”, so you may guess how miraculous seeing the sunrise over the islets of the Bay. After light breakfast our boat will continue to cruise in marvelous areas, where almost each islet has its own name, adopting its shape or reminiscent like Sail Island, Fisherman’s head rock, Butterfly rock or Turtle islet etc. Full breakfast or brunch will local food will be served on board. Disembark and transfer by shuttle bus back to Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi, transfer without guide to the airport for your departure flight. |
