Day 01: Guwahati Airport / Rly Station – Shillong (100 kms / 03 hrs.)
On arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station & transfer to Shillong (4,900 ft.), called ‘Scotland of the East”. Enroute visit Umium Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Overnight stay at Shillong
Day 02: Excursion to Mawlynnong & Dawki (120 kms / 4 hrs.)
After early breakfast drive to Mawlynnong – “Asia’s Cleanest Village”. Mawlynnong offers many interesting sights such as the living root bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another small rock. Later proceed to Dawki, a small town near India Bangladesh border. Enjoy breathtaking view of the Umangot River. Evening drive back to Shillong. Stay overnight at your hotel in Shillong.
Day 03: Shillong – Cherrapunjee (60 kms / 4 hrs.)
After breakfast visit Don Bosco Museum, Ward’s Lake, Botanical Garden and Lady Hydari Park. afternoon drive to Cherrapunjee (4,400 ft.), the wettest place in the world. On the way enjoy Mawkdok Valley, Nohkalikai falls, Dainthelen Falls and Ramkrishna Mission (drive pass). On arrival at Cherrapunjee, check in at your hotel. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.
Day 04: Cherrapunjee Local Sightseeing
After breakfast we get ready for a half day trek to visit the Double Decker Living Root Bridge deep inside the jungle. It will take 3 to 4 hrs (depending on the physical fitness of the person). Afternoon visit Nohsngithiang Falls (also known as the Seven Sisters Waterfalls or Mawsmai Falls), Mawsmai Cave, Koh Ram Hah and Ecopark. Evening back to the hotel. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee
Day 05: Cherrapunjee – Guwahati (160 kms / 6 hrs.)
After breakfast drive to Guwahati, enroute visit Elephanta falls and Shillong peak for some breathtaking views. Arrive and check in at hotel. In the evening visit ‘Kalakshetra’, a place where Assamese history and culture is presented through Light and sound show. Return to hotel. Overnight stay at Guwahati.
Day 06: Guwahati Local Sightseeing
After breakfast out to visit Kamakhya Temple, Tirupati Balaji Temple, Nabagraha Temple, Assam State Museum, State Zoo cum Botanical Garden, Regional Science Centre and Sukreswar Temple (The 6th Jyotirlinga of Shiva). Afternoon we suggest an optional tour of Golden sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra (Direct Payment by own). Overnight stay at Guwahati.
Day 07: Hotel – Guwahati Airport / Rly Station
After breakfast check out from hotel & transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey

Lonavala is a picturesque hill station, situated in state of Maharashtra. It lies very close to another hill resort, Khandala, equally popular and equally mesmerizing. Known as the ‘Jewel of the Sahayadri Mountains’, it is perched at an altitude of approximately 625 m above the sea level. Lonavala is also known for being the starting point for the tourists visiting the ancient Buddhist caves of Bhaja and Karla. Lonaval- Rajmachi Point Rajmachi Point

Rajmachi Point is situated approximately 6.5 km from Lonavala, on the way from Mumbai to the hill station. Lying just before the point from where the Ghat starts, this spot offers visitors amazing views of the Rajmachi Fort, situated in the valley below. The famous Vaghjai Dari is located here only.

Tungarli Lake

Tungarli Lake provides the combination of magnificent surroundings and peaceful ambience to its visitors. It serves as the main source of water to the Lonavala hill station and is also a very popular picnic spot.

Valvan Dam is situated near Lonavala, at a distance of approximately 2 km from the town. One of the major attractions of the dam is a beautiful garden, located at its foot. It is the main source of water for the Khopoli power station.

Lonavla Lake

Lonavla Lake lies on the outskirts of Lonavala, about 1.6 km from the town. The natural scenery and enchanting environment of the lake draw a large number of visitors here.

Karla Caves, situated around 20 km from Lonavala, are believed to date back to somewhere around 200 BC. One of its major attractions is a huge Buddhist stupa, which is more than 2200 years old.

Bhushi Dam

The Bhushi Dam is a masonry dam on the Indrayani River in Lonavala, Maharashtra. In 2014, the Indian Railways announced plans to develop Bhushi Dam as a tourist resort with participation from the private sector.

Bhushi Dam Lonavala is a very popular weekend destination for people from Mumbai & Pune. If you want to treat yourself with cool water, warm sunshine and the vibes of nature then the Bhushi Dam is the best place for you in Monsoon season. Please remember, Swimming is prohibited in this dam due to inconsistent flow of the water however one can always enjoy on steps and rocky land followed by steps.
