(2740 mts) also known as ‘The Meadow of Gold’ or “The Gateway of Ladakh’ Sonamarg is 84 Kms from Srinagar and is surrounded by colorful mountains and thick Pine forests. You can visit Thajwas Glacier on your own direct payment basis.Thajiwas Glacier is 3 Kms in the south of Sonamarg. Thajiwas Glacier is by far the biggest tourist attraction of Sonamarg. Contrary to common belief, you do not go all the way to the glacier. Rather, you actually trek about 3 kilometers from Sonamarg to a place called snow point. From there, you get a clear view of the glacier and can also indulge in activities like sledding. The trek is not difficult at all and is a walk of about 90 minutes to 2 hours from Sonamarg to snow point. You can either walk on your own or can even rent a pony for the same. Slopes and meadows are sparkled with the loveliest of alpine flowers, while the rich forests of fir, sycamore and birch at their lush green beauty to the scene. Along with the Pahalgam, Sonamarg is an excellent takeoff point for treks into the mountains and in itself is an ideal camping ground where glaciers pour down from the Himalayas. Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest): It is Bhutan’s most iconic landmark and religious Buddhist site in the world. The name Taktsang translates to “The Tiger’s Nest”. The temple is one of the holiest sites in Bhutan which clings impossibly to a sheer cliff face 900 meters above the valley. Although good trekkers can make it to the top in two hours, most of the guests take whole day to complete the hike. Overnight in Paro.
Farmhouse visit with locals: This experience is a particularly fun and spontaneous way to connect with the local community and learn about Bhutanese culture and way of living.

Chele La Pass, The height of Chele La is 13084 ft (3988m) making one of the highest vantage points in Bhutan from which you can marvel at commanding spectacular views of the snowcapped Mountain Jomolhari (7326 meters) from the Chelela Pass and valleys while Himalayan yaks grazing in horizon dotted with electricity pylons.
Lhakhang Karpo – Lhakang Karpo is located in Uesu Gewog under Haa in between three famous mountain Rigsum Goempo. Today it stands as tall as the fortress in Haa valley revered to Haa river. The temple is home to sacred images of Sangye Tshepamey and Ap Chhundu the main deity of Haa valley.
Lhakhang Nagpo – Lhakhang Nagpo is located 15 mins further away from Lhakhang Karpo in Dumchoe village. It takes 15 mins by walk and few minutes by car. Inside the temple, there is also a small lake. Lhakhang Nagpo serves as the seat for guardian deity Da Do Chen. Overnight in Paro.

Permit for Bhutan:

Indian nationals do not require visa to travel in Bhutan. Only a valid passport or Voter Id card are the valid documents for obtaining entry permit.

Advance Online Permits

If you are traveling with an Indian Passport (with a minimum validity of 6 months from the date of departure from Bhutan), you can avail advance online permits by sending us clear colour scanned passport copy. It should reach us before 10 working days. We shall not be responsible for any rejections or similar issues in regards to the permits due to improper documents or delay in arrival of documents.

Similarly if request is received between 3 to 6 days before, 50% of the advance received shall be refunded. No refund shall be given if the cancellation intimation is received less than 3 days before the date of arrival

1. Maximum waiting time on all SIC tours will be 05 minutes only, if the guests miss the SIC transfers then they will have to reach the activity area on their own.

4. Water sport activities are strictly subject to weather conditions, especially Parasailing. In case the water sport company cancels any of the activities due to weather conditions, the guest will be offered a replacement of some other available water sport but there will be no refund as such.
5. Parasailing as mentioned above is an issue most of the times due to strong currents. As a result, a lot of times Adventure Parasailing is offered as an option on the spot by the water sport company – but of course there is an extra premium attached to it & the guests will be informed accordingly. In case they find that expensive then the Manual Parasailing can be replaced with Donut Boat without any extra premium.
