July 03: Leh to Nubra Valley After an early breakfast we drive to NUBRA VALLEY leads through KHARDUNG-LA-PASS (the highest motorable road in the world) at 18,390 ft, around 39 kms from Leh. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldorma or the valley of flowers. It is situated to the North of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. Arrive Sumur or Hunder by afternoon and rest of the day at leisure to explore the beautiful village of Sumur & Hunder with a Visit to Diskit Monastery. Overnight stay at Camp. |

July 04: Nubra to Turtuk Valley and back to Nubra. Turtuk is the last village on the Indian side and was earlier on the other side of the border. The people and culture of Turtuk are very distinct and you will notice the same when you visit this place. Carry packed lunch with you. Dinner and Overnight at Nubra. |

July 05: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via shayouk river After your breakfast drive to pangong Lake Via shayouk River. Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometers at its widest point and over 130km long, it is bisected by the international border between India and China. A few years back the government decided to open it to tourists though the lake and its surrounding is under army surveillance. Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake. July 07: Leh to Kargil Visit Magnetic hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Indus Zaskar sangam. Further drive to Alchi Gompa. It bears the name of Alchi from the language of pre-Tibetan Dardic inhabitants. The Alchi Chos-khor consists of unique paintings, which may be attributed from the mid to late 11th century and was constructed by the famous translator Rin-chen bzang po. The paintings are characterized according to the Tabo and Tholing. At the entrance gate, light stupas are constructed and are known as Kakini choten. Visit Lamayuru village erroute sight seeing beautiful moonscape and visit Lamayuru Monastery. Another few hours drive will take you to Mulbekh, visit Mulbekh monastery and catch a glimpse of the mightly standing statue of Maitrya Buddha. Arrive in Kargil. Overnight stay in Kargil. |

July 08: Kargil to Srinagar via Sonmarg After an early breakfast we leave for Srinagar. On the way visit Dras/ Kargil War Memorial. Cross the mighty Zoji la pass. Zoji La (sometimes Zojila Pass) is a high mountain pass in the Himalayas. It is in the Kargil district, Indian Union territory of Ladakh. Located in the Dras subdivision, the pass connects the Kashmir Valley to its west with the Dras and Suru valleys to its northeast and the Indus valley further east. National Highway #1 between Srinagar and Leh in the western section of the Himalayan mountain range, traverses the pass. As of late 2022, an all-weather Zoji-la Tunnel is under construction to mitigate seasonal road blockages due to heavy snowfall.After further drive cross the beautiful valley of Sonmarg located in Ganderbal. July 09: Srinagar Local sight seeing After Breakfast Visit the famous Mughal Garden, Nishat Garden known as ‘Garden of pleasure’ built in the 16th century (1633) by Mughal King Asif Khan. Then visit Shalimar Garden known as ‘Garden of love’ built in the 16th century (1619) by Mughal King Jahangir for his beloved wife Noor Jahan or (Mehr-un-Nissa. After that visit to Chashmashahi. The Chashma Shahi Mughal gardens in Srinagar have been loved by emperors and picnickers alike, and have now been restored to their past glory.
