Today proceed for a local sightseeing, visit the beautiful Mattupetty lake and Dam, Kundla Dam, Echo Point and Top Station to enjoy the scenery. Evening is free for shopping. Overnight stay in Munnar.
30 June Munnar – Thekkady ( Approx. 3 Hrs Drive )
Today proceed to Thekkady (Periyar) approx. 110 Kms known for its lush forest. On arrival, check-in at your hotel. In the evening enjoy spice shopping at Kumily village. Overnight stay in Thekkady.
01 July Thekkady – Kumarakom (Approx 4 hrs drive)
Today proceed to Periyar wildlife Reserve. In Periyar you could spot a family of Elephants, Wild Boar or Sambar Deer by the water’s edge. Proceed to Kumarakom approx. 120 Kms, the backwater region of Kerala. Upon arrival check in to your hotel. Rest in the evening is free to relax. Overnight stay in Kumarakom.
Optional : One can enjoy a backwater cruise ride at an additional cost on your own
02 July Kumarakom – Trivandrum – Kovalam ( Approx. 5 Hrs Drive )
Today after breakfast proceed to Kovalam approx. 210 Kms, famous for its beaches. Kovalam consists of three adjacent crescent beaches. The Southernmost, known as the Lighthouse beach. On arrival check into hotel, rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay in Kovalam.
6th Day (Wed 3rd July) : Kovalam to Kanyakumari – Transfer & Sightseeing
After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Kanyakumari on arrival check in to the hotel. Proceed for local Sightseeing (if time permits) else day at leisure or own activities and overnight stay at Kanyakumari. Captivating Kanyakumari the southernmost end of Tamilnadu and the lands end of India is one of the most popular tourist spots of the country. The beautiful town on the very tip of the Indian Peninsula is set on the confluence of the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean. The town is at its best during Chaitra Poornima (full moon day in April), when the Sun and Moon are face to face at the same horizon. Other full moon days are also special when you can see the sunset and the moon rise almost simultaneously. Sightseeing in Kanyakumari: Vivekananda Rock, Kanyakumari Devi Temple.

7th Day (Thu 4th July) : Kanyakumari to Rameswaram – Transfer and sightseeing
After breakfast checkout from hotel and transfer to Rameswaram, on arrival check in to the hotel.If time permits proceed for local Sightseeing and overnight stay at Rameswaram. Rameswaram is in the Ramanathapuram district in Tamil Nadu. It is located on Pamban Island separated from mainland India by the Pamban channel and is about 50 kilometres from Mannar Island, Sri Lanka. It is situated in the Gulf of Mannar, at the very tip of the Indian peninsula. Pamban Island, also known as Rameswaram Island, is connected to mainland India by the Pamban Bridge. Rameswaram is the terminus of the railway line from Chennai and Madurai.Rameswaram Sightseeing includes Ramanathaswamy Temple, Five Faced Hanuman Temple & Pamban Bridge.
8th Day (Fri 5th July) : Rameswaram to Madurai – Transfer & Sightseeing

 

After breakfast checkout from hotel and transfer to Madurai, on arrival check in to the hotel. If time permits proceed for local Sightseeing and overnight stay at Madurai. Madurai is a major city and cultural headquarters in the state of Tamil Nadu. Situated at an altitude of approximately 350 feet above sea level. Madurai is the third largest city by area. Located on the banks of River Vaigai, Madurai has been a major settlement for two millennia and is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world.Madurai Sightseeing includes Sree Meenakshi Amman Temple, Gandhi Museum & Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace .

02 July Kovalam – Kanyakumari – Kovalam (Approx 2 hrs one way)
Today proceed to Kanyakumari approx. 90 Kms, the southern Tip of Indian sub-continent. Visit the Vivekanand Rock Memorial, take boat ferry to reach to memorial. Ten visit Gandhi Mandapam and Wax Museum. Drive back to your hotel in Trivandrum for overnight stay.
03 July Kovalam – Trivandrum (Approx 30 Minutes)
Today proceed to Trivandram airport to board the flight to next destination or your hometown with lots of memories to cherish for a life time!
