Day 04 Thekkady – Kumarakom (Approx 4 hrs drive)
Today proceed to Periyar wildlife Reserve. In Periyar you could spot a family of Elephants, Wild Boar or Sambar Deer by the water’s edge. Proceed to Kumarakom approx. 120 Kms, the backwater region of Kerala. Upon arrival check in to your hotel. Rest in the evening is free to relax. Overnight stay in Kumarakom.
Optional : One can enjoy a backwater cruise ride at an additional cost on your own

Day 07 Kovalam – Trivandrum (Approx 30 Minutes)

DAY 1  HANOI ARRIVAL – HALF DAY CITY TOUR

Welcome to Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam!

Upon arrival, greeted by the local tour guide and transfer to downtown.

Afternoon, visit Ba Dinh Square – the biggest square in Hanoi where all the biggest cultural, political events of the cities, especially demonstrations, take place. Start our visit at the Complex of Ho Chi Minh including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (from outside), Ho Chi Minh’s house-on-stilts, his fish pond and the One-Pillar Pagoda. Then, the Temple of Literature  which is considered as the first university of Vietnam.

Late afternoon visit the Old Quarter, go through the fascinating network of narrow alleys and shop houses also known as ‘The 36 Streets’ – each street being named after the merchandise traditionally sold there, ranging from fabrics to crafts and from medicines to tombstones. Drop by Hoan Kiem Lake. Visit The Huc Red Bridge. Drive back to hotel.

Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 2  HANOI  – HALONG BAY/ LAN HA BAY – OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel then check out.

At 9am, head East for 3 hours driving to Halong Bay, the pride of the Gulf of Tonkin, a Natural World Heritage as designated by UNESCO in 1994 and 2006. The road will pass by the Red River delta with green paddyfields and rural villages, where hard-work farmers are busy with their farming jobs, ploughing buffaloes or planting seedling. Upon arrival in Halong, check in the overnight cruise to discover the magnificent beauty of this “Descending-dragon” bay, created by thousands odd-shaped limestone rocks and karst grottoes. After a lunch on board, we can visit the Grottos, stop for swimming or kayaking, passing floating houses and approach islets to enjoy their beauty in close distance. Back to the cruise, enjoy cooking demonstration before having dinner. Evening attend activities on the boat or relax at your own leisure. Overnight on the cruise.

DAY 3  HALONG BAY – HANOI (B/BR)

You should wake up early to enjoy the dawn on the sea in the early morning. The Vietnamese call the “East Sea” by a point-oriented name “Eastern Sea”, so you may guess how miraculous seeing the sunrise over the islets of the Bay. After breakfast our boat will continue to cruise in marvelous areas, where almost each islet has its own name, adopting its shape or reminiscent like Sail Island, Fisherman’s head rock, Butterfly rock or Turtle islet etc. Check out your room and have brunch on board while the cruise coming back the pier. Disembark from the cruise, transfer back to Hanoi. Check in hotel. Your time at leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 4  HANOI – FLIGHT TO DA NANG – HOI AN ANCIENT TOWN (B)

Breakfast at hotel then check out. Picked up by driver to transfer to the airport for a flight to Danang. Upon arrival, welcomed by the local tour guide. Transfer to check in hotel by the beach. Time at leisure. (the standard check in time is 14:00pm).

Afternoon drive to visit Hoian Ancient town. You take an interesting walk over the tile-roofed Japanese Bridge, visit taciturn Chinese Assembly Halls, enjoy the attractiveness of ancient houses or listen to folk music of Central Vietnam at old club-houses. Later we can stop at shrines or stroll into the market located by Thu Bon river, where you may find the same feelings of the artists, who see the rooftops of Hoian a magical old world of Oriental feel and source of inspiration. This is also a wonderful town to shop for lanterns, soft silk, raw silk, or get your clothes tailored within a day. Rest of day will be free on your own to discover the town lighten up with thousands of colorful lanterns and night market by the River. Transfer back to your hotel in Danang.

DAY 5  DA NANG – BA NA HILLS – DA NANG (B)

Breakfast at hotel.

Morning transfer to Ba Na Hills, one of the most spectacular landscape of Danang City. You will take a cable car to the summit of mountain (at 1487m of sea level). Start visiting Ba Na Hill with many different attractions: Funicular, Debay ancient wine cellar & Le Jardin D’Amour, Linh Ung pagoda, Thich Ca Buddist statue, etc.

This afternoon you continue to join activities and games in Fantasy Park. Later walk to the summit of the mountain at the height 1487m – the highest one of Ba Na Mountain, visit Bell Tower, Nghinh Phong tower and Golden Bridge, to take beautiful photos of the mountain and Da Nang city. Late afternoon, taking the cable car back to foothill. Transfer back to your hotel. Time at leisure. Dinner at your own arrangement. Overnight in Danang.

DAY 6  DA NANG – FLIGHT TO HO CHI MINH CITY – HALF DAY CITY TOUR (B)

Breakfast  at hotel then check out. Picked up by driver and transfer to the airport to board a flight to Ho Chi Minh city.

Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City, also called as Saigon, the most dynamic city in Vietnam. Upon arrival, welcomed by the local tour guide and transfer to the down town.

Afternoon, tart city tour at Reunification Palace, the witness of the fierce Vietnam War ended in 1975. The grand building today is a Museum and Hall of official receptions. Nearby the Palace are the Notre Dame Cathedral (view from outside only), built between 1877 and 1883 and colonial-styled Central Post Office, one of the city’s major landmarks. Have lunch at Indian restaurant/local restaurant at your own cost then proceed to check in hotel (standard check in time is 14:00pm).

End of the day, visit Ben Thanh Market, one of  symbols of the city. Walking time along Nguyen Hue streets and Saigon River bank to experience the dynamic daily like of the local people.

DAY 7  HO CHI MINH – MEKONG DELTA – HO CHI MINH (B)

Breakfast at hotel.

Head to My Tho, the homeland of coconut and family factories with local products like coconut candy, rice paper,… Upon arrival, embark on the boat cruising on the mighty Mekong River viewing the life to the local people live along the banks. We stop to visit an island in the area, enjoy the fresh tropical fruits served in the heart of the lush garden accompanied by traditional southern Vietnamese folk music. Later, embark on other small boats rowed by the local people thru the small canals shadowed by water coconut trees to visit the local factories. There you will taste the honey tea and see the local people produce the coconut candy milk and of course you also can try it or stroll in the garden where the locals feed honeybee.

In the afternoon, continue to visit Vinh Trang pagoda, a famous pogoda in the area with architecture combination of Chinese, Cambodian, and French cultures. Return to HCMC late afternoon. Overnight in HCMC.

DAY 8  HO CHI MINH – FLIGHT TO SIEM REAP – SIGHTSEEING (B)

Breakfast  at hotel then check out. Picked up by driver and transfer to the airport to board a flight to Siem Reap.

Welcome to Siem Reap – Cambodia!

Upon arrival, welcomed by the local tour guide and transfer to the hotel.

This afternoon, we visit we visit Wat Bo, a highly respected pagoda founded in the 18th century, contains very unique wall paintings of the Reamker (Ramayana) that are said to be from late 19th century. Continue to visit the “Les Artisans d’Angkor – Chantiers Ecole” the Finest Authentic Khmer Arts and Crafts. End our visits at one of the city’s lively open markets, Psar Chars, also called the “Old Market”, where anything and everything is for sale.

DAY 9  SIEM REAP – ANGKOR TOUR FULL DAY (B)

Breakfast at hotel.

After breakfast, we explore South Gate of Angkor Thom known as Big Angkor, 3km2 walled and moated royal city and was the last capital of the Angkorian Empire, The famous Bayon Temple was an architectural muddle, in part because it was constructed in a somewhat piecemeal fashion for over a century. Terrace of the Elephants is an impressive, two and a half meter tall, 300 meter long terrace wall adorned with carved elephants and gradual that spans the heart of Angkor Thom in front of Baphuon – huge temple mountain in the heart of Angkor Thom, Royal Palace Area and Phimeanakas – impressive rite and sandstone pyramid. Terrace of the Leper King is at the north end of the Terrace of the Elephants, a double terrace wall with deeply carved nag as, demons and other mythological beings.

This afternoon, we visit Angkor Wat temple, the Cambodia’s ancient temple is one of the wonders of the oriental world. Masterpieces of decorative details as well as of architectural style, its awe-inspiring ruins survive as testament to the spectacular achievements of Southeast Asia’s greatest civilization. It is a replica of the universe according to the Hindu mythology. It is composed by the Mount Meru, surrounded by the continents and the oceans. Its extraordinary bas-reliefs, describe some Khmer epics and myths. Angkor Wat’s five famous towers rise into the sky, a geometrical arrangement of numerous galleries, adorned with beliefs and the stone images of celestial Apsara dancers, as well as portals, chambers and courtyards.

DAY 10                        SIEM REAP – FLOATING VILLAGE – AFTERNOON LEISURE (B)

After breakfast, we visit Chong Kneas Floating Villages, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Take a ride in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap, the “Great Lake” of Cambodia and the largest in Asia. Here we will see plenty of examples of the Khmer way of life on the Tonle Sap.

The rest of day is at your own leisure time.

DAY 11                        SIEM REAP – DEPARTURE (B)

Breakfast at hotel. You will have whole day at leisure for own sightseeing and shopping around until transfer to the airport to take a departure flight home.

09th Feb : Guwahati Airport / Rly Station – Shillong (100 kms / 03 hrs.)

On arrival Guwahati Airport at 0535 AM, After Completing the formalities at airport , fresh up at airport ,our drivers & Tour Manager with conveyance will be waiting outside airport. in between 7.30a.m. to 8 a.m. Meet with them and then transfer for Breakfast at around 0730- 8AM to the restaurant in Gauwahati , after finishing breakfast  to Shillong (4,900 ft.), called ‘Scotland of the East”. Enroute Visit Umium Lake. later proceed for Lunch at aroun 1-130 PM in shillong later check in at your hotel. Day free at Leisure. Overnight stay at Shillong.

10th Feb : In Shillong 

After early breakfast Visit Local Sightseeing’s of Shillong Including Ward Lake, Airforce Museum, Lady Hayadri park , Don Bosco Museum, later take Lunch and visit Police Bazar. Etc. Overnight stay at Shillong.

11th Feb : In Shillong – Mawphang – Shillong

After early breakfast Visit Mawphang – Sacred Forest, Butterflies orchids plant, Mawphanlur – Paradise in Meghalaya, Natural beauty – Boating / Kayaking. . Overnight stay at Shillong.

12th Feb : Shillong  to Cherrapunjee (60 kms / 2 hrs.)

After early breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee (4,400 ft.), the wettest place in the world. You will  visit Elephanta falls and Shillong peak for some breathtaking views, Dainthlen Fall , Seven sister falls  after that have your Lunch at Cherrapunjee later visit the beautiful waterfall known as Nohkalikai. You can also explore the caves known as Mawsmai. . Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.

13th Feb :  Excursion to Mawlynnong & Dawki (80 kms / 2.5 hrs.)

After early breakfast drive to Mawlynnong – “Asia’s Cleanest Village”. Mawlynnong offers many interesting sights such as the living root bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another small rock. Later proceed to Dawki, a small town near India Bangladesh border. Enjoy breathtaking view of the Umangot River. Evening drive back to Shillong. Stay overnight at your hotel in Cherrapunjee.

14th Feb :  Cherrapunjee  – Guwahati (140 kms / 4-5 hrs.)

After Early breakfast drive to Guwahati, on Arrival at Guwahati take lunch later check in at hotel. Visit Kamkhya Devi Temple In the evening visit ‘Kalakshetra’, a place where Assamese history and culture is presented through Light and sound show. Return to hotel. Overnight stay at Guwahati.

15th Feb : Hotel – Guwahati Airport / Rly Station

After breakfast check out from hotel and visit

Tirupati Balaji Temple, Nabagraha Temple, Assam State Museum, State Zoo cum Botanical Garden, Regional Science Centre and Sukreswar Temple (The 6th Jyotirlinga of Shiva)- if time permits. later have Lunch at around 1230-1 PM . & transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey.
