18th March: Guwahati Airport / Rly Station – Shillong (100 kms / 03 hrs.)

On arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station & transfer to Shillong (4,900 ft.), called ‘Scotland of the East”. Enroute visit Umium Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Overnight stay at Shillong
19th March: Excursion to Cherrapunjee (60 kms / 2 hrs.)

After early breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee (4,400 ft.), the wettest place in the world. You will see the beautiful waterfall known as Nohkalikai. You can also explore the caves known as Mawsmai. Evening return to Shillong, enroute visit Elephanta falls and Shillong peak for some breathtaking views. Overnight stay at Shillong
20th March: Shillong sightseeing – Kaziranga National Park (295 kms / 7 hrs.)

After breakfast visit Don Bosco Museum & Ward’s Lake. Later transfer to Kaziranga National Park, the home of “One Horned Rhinoceros”, Check in at your hotel. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Kaziranga
21st March: Kaziranga National Park

Early morning explores any one zone of Kaziranga National Park on back of Elephant. Apart from the Rhino, other species found are Hog Deer, Swamp Deer, Wild Buffalo, Elephants and if you are lucky then tiger also. It is also home to pelicans, storks and darters as there are a number of water bodies inside the Park. Return to the resort for breakfast. In the afternoon enjoy jeep safari through the National Park. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Transfers:

  • Transfer from Guwahati Airport / Guwahati Railway station will be provided from 05:00 hrs. To 18:00 hrs.

  •  If there is any early / midnight arrival at Guwahati railway station, we suggest the guest, considering their security that

22nd March  Arrive Port Blair – Cellular Jail, Water Sports Complex, Sound&Light show at Cellular Jail
Arrival at Port Blair in the morning/afternoon by flight and transfer to hotel. Relax and rest at the hotel and after lunch (on your own) visit the famous Cellular Jail*(a witness to the freedom struggle – Closed Mondays) and then visit the Water Sports Complex. In the evening proceed to attend the enthralling Sound and Light Show (at 1800 hrs or 1900 Hrs, depending on light and sound show ticket availability) at Cellular Jail – where the heroic saga of the Indian freedom struggle is brought alive. 23rd March Port Blair – Havelock by ferry
After breakfast at the hotel, check-out and transfer to the jetty. Board the boat for Havelock. On reaching, check in to the Hotel at Havelock and relax and unwind. Overnight stay in Havelock Island. (B)
24th March   Havelock : Excursion to Elephant Beach
Today proceed to Elephant Island. (Car will come at 0800 hrs and please ensure you are ready as the boat will leave at 0830 hrs and it is a further 10 min drive away to the boat) Embark on the most memorable snorkelling trip, just 25 min by Boat this beach offers snorkelers calm blue shallow waters and is the perfect spot for beginner snorkelers. The boat goes right up to the beach and it’s so easy to slip on your gear and just start snorkeling. It’s also a great place to just spend the day lying on the beach and relaxing. The beach is very scenic with fallen trees and white sand giving the photographer some interesting shots. The reef here starts very close to shore at a depth of about 1 meter. The large reef is mostly made up of hard coral and has plenty of marine life. Note: Inclusive of snorkeling equipment and car pick up and drop to jetty. Overnight stay in Havelock Island. 25th March Havelock – Radhanagar Beach – Neil Island by ferry
In the morning proceed to Beach No 7, Radhanagar Beach, rated as the best beach in Asia. Spend the day relaxing on this beach. (Local Hot Tea will be offered) (N/Ac Car/ Jeep will be provided for pickup and drop; time spent 2-3 hrs). Return from Havelock Island in the evening by ferry@ 1600 hrs/1630hrs and transfer to hotel in Port Blair. Evening at Leisure. Day 02 –  Kathmandu

This morning you will be taken  for a visit of the Hindu culture in Nepal, Pashupatinath.  This is the place where holy saddhus pray. The Pashupatinath Temple is a famous, sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Pashupatinath and is located on the banks of the Bagmati River 5 kilometres north-east of Kathmandu Valley in the eastern city of Kathmandu the capital of Nepal. This temple is considered one of the sacred temples of Hindu faith .The temple serves as the seat of the national deity, Lord Pashupatinath. This temple complex is on UNESCO World Heritage Sites’s list Since 1979. This “extensive Hindu temple precinct” is a “sprawling collection of temples, ashrams, images and inscriptions raised over the centuries along the banks of the sacred Bagmati river”. We then continue to the holiest shrine for the Buddhist culture in Nepal, Bouddhanath, with its large stupa, this is the place where all devout Buddhists come for a pilgrimage. After completion of these two spots, you will be taken take you for a visit to Patan. Also known as  Lalitpur  , the city of beauty is separated from Kathmandu only by the Bagmati River and is the second largest town in the valley. Lalitpur is fragmented from other cities due to its substantive architectural ancient masterpieces. Patan’s central Durbar Square is absolutely packed with temples: Its an architectural center point with a far greater concentration of temples per sq. meter than in Kathamandu or Bhaktapur. Within  the city also lies the Tibetan refugee center, home to most of the valley’s Tibetan population.  While technically refugees, the Tibetans are some of the wealthiest people in the valley because of the carpet industry they operate.  For those looking to bring home a fine Tibetan carpet, this is the place to shop. You will then go to Swayambhunath the golden spire of the 5th-century Swayambhu stupa is adorned with a colorful fluttering of prayer flags; it crowns a hill overlooking the Kathmandu Valley and offers fantastic views over the city of Kathmandu. Swayambhunath is one of the most recognizable symbols in Nepal and the painted eyes of Buddha watch all who ascend the worn stone steps.

Day 03 – Kathmandu – Chandragiri Hills ( Taking a cable car from base to top ) – Kathmandu

This morning you will be taken for  Chandragiri Hills, 17 kilometres approx from city center, lies on the South-West of Kathmandu Valley and is 2551 metres from sea level. Soaring peaks and breath taking views of whole Kathmandu Valley covered with lush green blanket of flora makes Chandragiri truly a great bountiful and pristine landscape. The panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley & Himalayan ranges from Annapurna to Everest makes any one feel like seeing whole Nepal from this hill.

Drive from your hotel to Thankot and then take a cable car to Chandragiri Hills. Chandragiri Cable Car is a gondola lift transportation system located in Kathmandu, Nepal. Opened on 2016, the Chandragiri Cable Car runs from Thankot to Chandragiri hills. The 2.4 km (9,095 ft) line has two stations. Later visit Budanilkantha also known as the sleeping vishnu temple. Day 04 – Kathmandu / Pokhara ( 210 KMS )

Drive to Pokhara. Pokhara is 210 kms from Kathmandu and is a 7 hours drive approx. From Pokhara town (2,352 feet) in good weather there are splendid views right from the hotel.
On the way you have an option at an extra cost of doing the river rafting or visit the Manakamna Temple “ Goddess of Fulfilling Wishes” where you are taken by a cable ride of 10 mins. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05 – Pokhara

 This morning you will go for a excursion trip to Sarangkot. Sarangkot is the most popular tourist destination from where the tourist can enjoy the great view of the Pokhara Valley and the magnificent view of the mountains. Sarangkot is only 13 kms from Lake Side, Pokhara. Sarangkot is the highest view point for a sunrise and it is just 1592m high. Sarangkot is  cooler than Pokhara. Sarangkot can be reached easily by 45 to 60 minutes by a car ride to the top from Pokhara. Many tourists come to Sarangkot for sunrise view and go back.

From Sarangkot, on the northern direction we can see Dhaulagiri in the far west. Annapurna range is visible when the weather is clear on the same side. On the southern direction the village overlooks the city of Pokhara and its lake on the north-western outskirts of the city.

This afternoon you will visit Bindebasini Temple. This is one of the oldest temples in Pokhara was a part of Kaski Kingdom, the main deity of the temple,Goddess Durga, was brought from India . Apart from the peace and tranquility that can be felt in this region, the premises of the temple offers a good view of the Himalaya on a clear day. The temple is in the area of the bazaar, hence,a journey of the old bazaar can be combined with a visit to the temple. Sightseeing to Devi’s fall, also known as Patale Chango is an awesome waterfall lying 2 km southwest of Pokhara. During summer and rainy season, the waterfall takes its real form, with gushing water splashing and making its way through the rocks. Just opposite of Devi’s fall, on the other side of the road, there is Gupteshwor Cave. This cave is popular for the different natural forms made from limestone deposits. Photography is strictly prohibited inside the cave. Overnight at hotel.
