29 Dec –  Kathmandu

Meeting at airport upon arrival by Office Personnel. Transfer to hotel. Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal and the Kathmandu Valley is the political and cultural heart of the Kingdom.

The urban sprawl that makes up modern Kathmandu is in fact two cities, Patan and Kathmandu.

After short relaxation at the hotel, you will be taken  for a visit of the Hindu culture in Nepal, Pashupatinath.  This is the place where holy saddhus pray. The Pashupatinath Temple is a famous, sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Pashupatinath and is located on the banks of the Bagmati River 5 kilometers north-east of Kathmandu Valley in the eastern city of Kathmandu the capital of Nepal. This temple is considered one of the sacred temples of Hindu faith .The temple serves as the seat of the national deity, Lord Pashupatinath. This temple complex is on UNESCO World Heritage Sites’s list Since 1979. This “extensive Hindu temple precinct” is a “sprawling collection of temples, ashrams, images and inscriptions raised over the centuries along the banks of the sacred Bagmati river”.

30 Dec – Kathmandu / Chitwan

Drive to Chitwan. Chitwan is 180 Km from Kathmandu & is a 05 hours drive from Kathmandu. Chitwan is one of Asia’s premier wildlife reserves. On the way you have an option at an extra cost of doing the river rafting ( Inr 2000 per person ) or visit the Manakamna Temple “ Goddess of Fulfilling Wishes” where you are taken by a cable ride (Inr 670 per person payable directly) of 10 mins. Overnight at hotel.

Chitwan is 360 square miles of tall grasslands and forests, home to a wide variety of mammals and birds, including several endangered species. Overnight at hotel.

31 Dec – Chitwan

Enjoy Jungle observation at Chitwan National park. The highlight being the Safari in the Jungles.

Other activities are Canoeing in a Dugout canoe, Nature Walk and Bird Watching. Also experience walking through the forests with naturalists and watch the Native folk dances of the Terais. Overnight at hotel.

01 Jan – Chitwan / Pokhara

Drive to Pokhara. Pokhara is 180 Km & is a 04 hours drive from Chitwan. From Pokhara town

(2,352 feet) the 25,000+ peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges rise a scant 20 miles

away with no intervening ridges to spoil the view. Overnight at hotel.

02 Jan – Pokhara

This morning you will go for an excursion trip to Sarangkot. Sarangkot is the most popular tourist destination from where the tourist can enjoy the great view of the Pokhara Valley and the magnificent view of the mountains. Sarangkot is only 13 kms from Lake Side, Pokhara. Sarangkot is the highest view point for a sunrise and it is just 1592m high. Sarangkot is  cooler than Pokhara. It can be reached easily by 45 to 60 minutes by a car ride to the top from Pokhara. Many tourists come to Sarangkot for sunrise view and go back. From Sarangkot, on the northern direction we can see Dhaulagiri in the far west. Annapurna range is visible when the weather is clear on the same side. On the southern direction the village overlooks the city of Pokhara and its lake on the north-western outskirts of the city.( The above sightseeing is for a maximum of 03 hours after the vehicle reports at the hotel )

This afternoon you will visit Bindebasini Temple. This is one of the oldest temples in Pokhara was a part of Kaski Kingdom, the main deity of the temple, Goddess Durga, was brought from India . Apart from the peace and tranquility that can be felt in this region, the premises of the temple offers a good view of the Himalaya on a clear day. The temple is in the area of the bazaar, hence a journey of the old bazaar can be combined with a visit to the temple. Sightseeing to Devi’s fall, also known as Patale Chango is an awesome waterfall lying 2 km southwest of Pokhara. During summer and rainy season, the waterfall takes its real form, with gushing water splashing and making its way through the rocks. Just opposite of Devi’s fall, on the other side of the road, there is Gupteshwor Cave. This cave is popular for the different natural forms made from limestone deposits. 03 Jan – Pokhara / Kathmandu

Drive back to Kathmandu & transfer to hotel. Rest day at leisure on your own. Overnight at hotel.

04 Jan – Kathmandu / Airport

This morning your tour will take you for a visit to Patan. Also known as  Lalitpur, the city of beauty is separated from Kathmandu only by the Bagmati River and is the second largest town in the valley. Lalitpur is fragmented from other cities due to its substantive architectural ancient masterpieces. Patan’s central Durbar Square is absolutely packed with temples: Its an architectural center point with a far greater concentration of temples per sq. meter than in Kathmandu or Bhaktapur. Within  the city also lies the Tibetan refugee center, home to most of the valley’s Tibetan population.  While technically refugees, the Tibetans are some of the wealthiest people in the valley because of the carpet industry they operate.  For those looking to bring home a fine Tibetan carpet, this is the place to shop. You will then go to Swayambhunath the golden spire of the 5th-century Swayambhu stupa is adorned with a colorful fluttering of prayer flags; it crowns a hill overlooking the Kathmandu Valley and offers fantastic views over the city of Kathmandu. Swayambhunath is one of the most recognizable symbols in Nepal and the painted eyes of Buddha watch all who ascend the worn stone steps.

So it is recommended that the clients take flights instead of drive.

Day 1: Hanoi arrival – city tour
Welcome to Hanoi! – the capital of Vietnam, is a bustling metropolis with a rich history and culture.
We will pick you up at Noi Bai Airport and transfer you to the city center. You will have free time to relax
after long flight. In the afternoon, we will visit Ba Dinh Square, the largest square in Hanoi. This is where all of the city’s biggest cultural and political events take place. We will take some photos of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum from the outside. Then we continue to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university. The temple was built in 1070, and the gardens and well-preserved architecture offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past. After visiting the temple, we will walk around Hoan Kiem Lake, a picturesque lake in the heart of Hanoi.
The lake is home to a number of temples and pagodas, and it is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. We will then take a leisurely walk around the Old Quarter of Hanoi, a fascinating network of narrow alleys and shophouses. The Old Quarter is also known as “The 36 Streets,” as each street is named after the merchandise that was traditionally sold there. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi – Halong bay – Overnight on cruise (B, L, D) – Shuttle Bus

Old Quarters and transferred to Ha Long Bay, the pride of the Gulf of Tonkin, a Natural World Heritage as recognized by UNESCO in 1994 and 2006.
Upon arrival at the Cruise Port, you will enjoy a warm welcome from cruise staff and complete the checkin procedure for the overnight cruise to discover the magnificent beauty of this “Descending Dragon” bay, created by thousands of odd-shaped limestone rocks and karst grottoes. After a lunch on board, we can visit the Grottos, stop for swimming or kayaking, pass floating houses, and approach islets to enjoy their beauty in close proximity. Later in the afternoon, go back to the cruise and enjoy the cooking demonstration before having dinner. In the evening, attend activities on the boat or relax at your own leisure. Day 4: Danang – Cam Thanh coconut village – Hoian Ancient town (B)
After breakfast, we transfer to visit Cam Thanh village and Bay Mau coconut forest. Here you have chance to experience the traditional way of life. Take a bamboo basket boat tour through the coconut groves, learn how to paddle a traditional boat and try your hand at catching fish and shrimp using traditional techniques. Relax in the peaceful countryside by simply sit back and enjoy the views. Learn about traditional handicrafts by watching local artisans weave baskets and mats using coconut leaves and other natural materials. You can even try your hand at making your own.
In the afternoon, after our transfer to Hoi An Ancient Town, we will be immersed in a magical world of
Oriental feel. We will walk over the Japanese Bridge, visit Chinese Assembly halls, and explore ancient
houses. We can also listen to folk music at old club-houses or stroll into the market by Thu Bon river. Here, we may feel the same inspiration as artists who have found the rooftops of Hoi An to be a source of inspiration.

The rest of the time is free for shopping. Hoi An is legendary for its affordable yet quality tailoring services. The streets of the ancient town are also lined with shop houses and makeshift stalls selling handicrafts, jewelry, traditional apparel, and shoes. The central marketplace is filled with locals bargaining for fresh produce and foodstuffs. Hoi An town in the evening is a magical place, where is bathed in warm yellow light from the lanterns that hang from the shophouses, and the streets are filled with the sound of music and laughter. Drive back to hotel in Danang for overnight.

Day 5: Danang – Ba Na Hills – Danang (B) – SIC Tour
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Danang at 07:00-08:00. We’ll transfer to Ba Na
Hills, a French-inspired hilltop resort. We’ll take the iconic cable car, which has been awarded 5 world
records, to the Ba Na Hills station. From the iconic Golden Bridge, we can admire the lush vegetation and rich terrain of the Truong Son Mountains, which stretch to the East Sea. Just a few steps away from the village is the Linh Ung Pagoda, home to a 27-meter-high Buddha statue. The pagoda’s impressive facade is  a testament to traditional Vietnamese architecture. Next, we’ll head to Loc Uyen Garden and Quan Am Pavilion for a walk through well-manicured landscapes that are perfect for photoshoots. The tour guide will take guests to visit Fantasy Park, join in adventurous, fun, and modern games such as Love Swing, Skiver Pilot, Fire Racing Track, Bumper Car, Ghost House… Have buffet lunch at the restaurant.

Later in the afternoon, conquer the Peak of Chua mountain at the height of 1,487m – Visit Ba Chua
Thuong Ngan Temple. Enjoy the panorama view of the Da Nang City and Da Nang Bay. Go downhill by
cable car and return to our hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy the beach feeling. Overnight in
Danang.

Day 6: Danang – Morning flight to Ho Chi Minh – Afternoon city tour (B)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to the airport (without tour guide) for your short flight to Ho Chi Minh city (air tickets excluded).
Upon arrival, you will be picked up and drive to hotel for checking in.
In the afternoon, start your city tour at the War Remnants Museum, one of the most famous historical
attractions in Saigon. Coming to the War Remnants Museum, you can learn a part of how Vietnamese
struggled and fought for their independence, freedom, and peace of the nation, as well as the locals’
perspective of the Vietnam War. The exhibits, such as weapons, documents, and photographs, displayed in the museum are firm evidence of war crimes in Vietnam and speak for the heroic actions of the former Vietnamese generation. We then visit the Reunification Palace, a witness to the fierce Vietnam War that ended in 1975. The grand building today is a Museum and Hall for official receptions. Nearby the Palace are the Notre Dame Cathedral (view from outside only), built between 1877 and 1883, and the colonialstyled Central Post Office, one of the city’s major landmarks. Late in the afternoon, visit Ben Thanh Market, a symbol of Saigon. Have some shopping time there. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 7: Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi tunnels (B) – SIC Tour

Breakfast at the hotel. You will be picked up from pick-up point in District 1 arround 07:30-08:00 am.
Morning drive to Cu Chi Tunnels: the network of over 200 km of tunnels became legendary when they
played a vital role in the war. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities, including
numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field
hospitals, command centers, and kitchens. After a short introduction video showing how the tunnels were constructed, you will have a chance to crawl into a short section of the tunnels to feel the oppressive narrowness and heat inside. Experience the thrill of firing an M15, AK-47, and carbine rifle at the National Defense Sports Shooting Range (at guests own extra cost). This is your chance to get a taste of what it’s like to be a soldier in a war zone. With the help of experienced instructors, you’ll learn how to handle these powerful weapons and how to shoot them safely. Return to Ho Chi Minh city centre. Rest time of the day at leisure or shopping. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
