After breakfast leave with a full day excursion for Sonmarg “The meadow of gold. Situated at an altitude of 9000 Ft. Sonmarg is also called “The meadow of gold” .Sonmarg lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. The place is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lake. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier, which is a major local attraction during the summer. Drive back from Sonmarg to Srinagar. Overnight stay in Hotel

03 June: Srinagar -Gulmarg – Srinagar(56 Kms / 2:00 hours approximately)

After breakfast drive to Gulmarg “Meadow of Flowers” 2730 Mts. above sea level. The distance of 56 Kms will be covered in about 2:00 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and the highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. Later visirt local market in Gulmarg. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek upto Khilanmarg which can be covered in about 3 to 4 hrs or enjoy the scenic view of Kongdori on a Cable Car Known as Gondola (on direct pay basis). Supplement cost (If guest want Add on Service must be Inform at the time of Booking):

Ø  Nathula pass (Monday closed): Rs.7,500.00 per car It can be done on the same day with Tsomgo Lake – Baba Mandir.

Ø  Toy Train Joy Ride (Darjeeling): Rs.2,000/- (Ticket Price + Service charge + GST) Per Person on the day of  Darjeeling local sightseeing + Rs.1500/- per vehicle car halting charges.

• The Permission for Nathula Pass is completely subject to availability. We can not give you any guarantee for nathula pass but we will try.
• Nathula visit is subject to availability of permit & road condition. It can be done on the same day with Tsomgo Lake – Baba Mandir, except Monday. Only limited permits are issued by the Sikkim Tourism Department before 24 hrs. of tour (OR on the day of tour depends on road condition) to those travel agencies registered with Sikkim Tourism Department on Rotation basis. It is closed on Monday. NAME, ADDRESS, AGE & GENDER i.e. naming list of all guests traveling are required for processing of permit. Normally organizing permit at the eleventh hour is not possible, minimum time required is 72 hours before the arrival to apply the permit with all documents. We will try our best, but in case of non-availability of permit, the tour will only be till New Baba Mandir. In case the permit is available one can opt for the trip with the supplement cost.
• As permit is mandatory and very limited number of permit are issued per day for visiting Nathula, Guest have to travel by any car whichever is available (like Xylo/Scorpio/Maxx/Bolero/Sumo) as per permit issued. We cannot give any choice on Vehicle type. This is to inform you that in order to control and send more tourists to Nathula pass, the department of tourism after consulting with travel agents laid down the following rules :-
• The Indian Army allows visiting Nathula from 11:00AM to 12:30PM only. Guest have to start early from Gangtok. If guest makes delay in starting ex Gangtok we cannot guarantee the visit in spite of having confirmed permit.
• In high season limited permit will be issued by authorities. We will try to get the permit but if we will not get the permit then we will refund the supplement amount after end of the tour.

Please note if Nathula pass permit not done due to weather conditions / Land slide / any other

• reason than we will refund the supplement amount after end of the tour.
• Also note that if Nathula Pass permit is issued and due to any other reason they can’t visit Nathula Pass then we are unable to refund anything.
• In case of less than 6 people from one travel agent the Department generally clubs small numbers with another travel agent’s small number of tourists just for 4 km up and down before Nathula pass. Now in this case it might so happen that the guests might have to leave their vehicle and board some other vehicle with other guests or other guests may join them in their vehicle or for groups and multiple cars it might so happen that the guests who has paid for certain number of vehicles might have to accommodate in lesser number of vehicles as per the instruction of the Permit Office at Sarathang (04 kms before Nathula Pass). In that case no refund would be applicable.

However, it still retains its cultural identity and values amidst the signs of modernization, often referred as world only city without traffic lights. Visit Buddha Dordenma: The largest sitting Buddha statue in the world, is located at a top of the hill in Kuensel Phodrang Nature Park and overlooks the southern entrance to Thimphu valley. Drive pass by Memorial: It is located close to the center of Thimphu city and is one of its most iconic monuments. Visitors will find elderly Bhutanese people circumambulating the Chorten throughout the day. Folk Heritage Museum: It provides visitors and tourists with fascinating insights into the Bhutanese material culture and way of life. Sangaygang View Point: The point offers a stunning panoramic view of the entire Thimphu valley. Takin Zoo: The wildlife reserve area for Takin (Budorcas taxicolor), the national animal of Bhutan with unique story of its creation. Walk around Kaja Throm: built upon the Royal Command as a gift from His Majesty the King, Kaja Throm embraces the value of income generation and vibrant community space with great ambience. This picturesque region in the kingdom is covered in fertile rice fields and has a beautiful, crystalline river meandering down the valley. Paro has more of historical sites, high-end tourist resort and many souvenir shops for shopping including world famous Taktsang. Taktsang Monastery (Tiger Nest Temple): is Bhutan’s most iconic landmark and religious Buddhist site in the world. The name Taktsang translates to “The Tiger’s Nest”. The temple is one of the holiest sites in Bhutan which clings impossibly to a sheer cliff face 900 meters above the valley. Although good trekkers can make it to the top in two hours, most of the guests take whole day to complete the hike.

Permit for Bhutan:

Indian nationals do not require visa to travel in Bhutan. Only a valid passport or Voter Id card are the valid documents for obtaining entry permit.

Advance Online Permits

If you are traveling with an Indian Passport (with a minimum validity of 6 months from the date of departure from Bhutan), you can avail advance online permits by sending us clear colour scanned passport copy. It should reach us before 10 working days. We shall not be responsible for any rejections or similar issues in regards to the permits due to improper documents or delay in arrival of documents.

It is a thriving commercial centre on the northern edge of the Indian Plains. On arrival check in at the hotel. After breakfast, visit the Kuenselphodrang (Buddha Dordenma). It is located at a short drive from Thimphu City Centre; Kuenselphodrang offers a good overview of the Thimphu valley. The largest statue of Buddha in the country sits here which houses over one hundred thousand smaller Buddha statues. Then visit the National Memorial Chorten built in the memory of the Third King of Bhutan and visit the Folk Heritage Museum. Afternoon, transfer to Punakha / Wangdue Phodrang (4,298 ft.), on the way Stop at Dochu-La-Pass (10334 ft.) to view the higher Himalayas. The pass is approximately 25 kms away from Thimphu and is the highest point between the Thimphu and Punakha/Wangdue Valley. Another attraction is the 108 chorten/stupas (Druk Wangyel Chortens) built close to each other surrounded by numerous colourful prayer flags. On arrival at Punakha check in at the hotel. After breakfast, visit Punakha Dzong – built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. For many years until the time of the second king, it served as the seat of the Government. The Dzong was named Druk Pungthang Dechen Phodrang (Palace of Great Happiness). Punakha is still the winter residence of Je-Khenpo and King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck convened the first National Assembly here in 1952.  After that take a short and easy hike to visit the Chhimi Lhakhang – The Temple, also known as “The Temple of Fertility” was built by Lama Drukpa Kuenley, “The Devine Mad Man”. Afternoon, transfer to Paro (7,480 ft.). On arrival check in at the hotel. Evening free for shopping and to stroll around the local market. Overnight stay at Paro.

After breakfast start full day sightseeing covering Ta Dzong – Originally built as a watchtower, it is now the National Museum of Bhutan with an excellent collection of Bhutanese antiquities, Rinpung Dzong – consecrated in 1645 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal on the site of smaller fort. During the 17th & 18th centuries it served as a bastion against invasion from the north. Currently, it is the administrative seat of Paro district, and also houses the state monastic community of about 200 members. Afternoon, visit the Drukgyel Dzong – Built in 1647 to commemorate the victory over an invasion from Tibet, the dzong was however destroyed by accidental fire in 1951. It was preserved in ruins as a heritage site. A full reconstruction of the Dzong was started in 2016. On a clear day experience a beautiful view of Mt. Jhomolhari (24035 ft.); from here. Then visit the Kichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Bhutan built in 659 AD by the Tibetan King Songtsen Gembo. This is the second of the two temples built in a single day to hold down the giant demoness who was preventing the spread of Buddhism. In the evening, explore the Paro Town. Overnight stay at Paro.
