DAY 1: HANOI – ARRIVAL – HALONG BAY – OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE (L/D) – VIA HIGHWAY Welcome to Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. Upon arrival, greeted by guide and driver then transfer to Halong Bay- the pride of the Gulf of Tonkin, a Natural World Heritage as designated by UNESCO in 1994 and 2006 via express way. Upon arrival in Halong, check in the overnight cruise to discover the magnificent beauty of this “Descending-dragon” bay, created by thousands odd-shaped limestone rocks and karst grottoes. After a lunch on board, we can visit the Grottos, stop for swimming or kayaking, passing floating houses and approach islets to enjoy their beauty in close distance. Back to the cruise, enjoy cooking demonstration before having dinner. Evening attend activities on the boat or relax at your own leisure. Overnight on the cruise. DAY 2: HALONG BAY – HANOI (B/BR) – VIA NORMAL WAY You should wake up early to enjoy the dawn on the sea in the early morning. The Vietnamese call the “East Sea” by a point-oriented name “Eastern Sea”, so you may guess how miraculous seeing the sunrise over the islets of the Bay. After breakfast our boat will continue to cruise in marvelous areas, where almost each islet has its own name, adopting its shape or reminiscent like Sail Island, Fisherman’s head rock, Butterfly rock or Turtle islet etc. Check out your room and have brunch on board while the cruise coming back the pier. DAY 3: HANOI – NINH BINH – HOA LU – TAM COC – FLIGHT TO DANANG (B) Have breakfast at hotel then check out. A 90km driving south of Hanoi will lead you to Ninh Binh, the site of the one capital city of ancient Vietnam before Hanoi took its leading role in 11th century. The area is featured by lots of well-known sceneries, which include Tam Coc Caves and Hoa Lu ancient capital with the old temples dedicated to King Dinh & King Le reigned in 10th century. The visit in Ninh Binh starts by a boat trip in Tam Coc where spectacular limestone karsts jut out from the green paddy fields reminding about Guilin (China) and Halong Bay of Vietnam, which gives this scenery the name “Halong-bay-on-land”. Further discovery in Ninh Binh will be continued by visiting Bich Dong Pagoda. Afternoon drive back Hanoi, on the way, stop to visit Hoa Lu, the site that used to be the kings’ palace in 10th century and now famous for the wooden relieves of the shady Dinh and Le temples. DAY 4: DANANG – BA NA HILLS – DANANG (B) After breakfast, transfer to Ba Na hills and take Cable Car which gains 5 world scores to Ba Na hills station. Reach the French-inspired hilltop resort, we visit the Old Villas, French Stable, and Tinh Tam Garden with our English-speaking guide for a walk down the hills’ memory lane. Admire the lush vegetation and the rich terrains of Truong Son mountain that stretches to the East Sea from the iconic Golden Bridge. Just a few steps away from the village stands the Linh Ung Pagoda, home to the 27-meter high Buddha statue. See an impressive facade of traditional Vietnamese architecture when we visit the pagoda. Next, head to Loc Uyen Garden and Quan Am Pavilion for a walk through well-manicured landscapes that serve as gorgeous backdrops for photoshoots. We reach Nui Chua Peak, marvel at the natural reserve’s beauty and remember to snap a photo or two. Our next stop will be the Fantasy Park, an amusement park inspired by French chateaus and palaces. Hop on a rollercoaster and make it a memorable one by getting our pictures taken while riding. Have fun with exciting rides fit for all ages. For our last destination, drop by Linh Chua Linh Tu Temple for a glimpse of Vietnam’s Buddhist culture. Tour the temple complex, where a 9-story pagoda and teahouse sit 1,487 meters above sea level. DAY 6: DANANG – HOI AN COCONUT VILLAGE – HOI AN ANCIENT TOWN (B) Breakfast at hotel and check out. Transfer to Hoi An. In the morning, we transfer to visit Cam Thanh water coconut village. Here we will learn how to paddle the Vietnamese unique bamboo basket boat and explore the now tranquil coconut-palm flanking the waterways. We also learn about the daily life of Vietnamese fishermen, their families and their community. Back to hotel to check in (normal check in time 14:00 PM). Afternoon, transfer to Hoian Town. You take interesting walk over the tile-roofed Japanese Bridge, visit taciturn Chinese Assembly Halls, enjoy the attractiveness of ancient houses or listen to folk music of Central Vietnam at old club-houses. Later we can stop at shrines or stroll into the market located by Thu Bon river, where you may find the same feelings of the artists, who see the rooftops of Hoian a magical old world of Oriental feel and source of inspiration. This is also a wonderful town to shop for lanterns, soft silk, raw silk, or get your clothes tailored within a day. Optional cost for LANTERN BOAT – flower garland releasing : USD 10/ pax Hoian is exceptionally spectacular at night. As the sun sets, the pedestrian-friendly streets turn into a sparkling display of colorful lanterns while folk dance and live music performances electrify the atmosphere. Local people love releasing flower garlands on the Hoai River when the sun is down. According to the local cultural concept, each of the flower garlands and colored lanterns is a prayer for health and good things, to eliminate all sorrow and suffering. Not just observing, we can soak up the decorations of the light party. Here, we take a boat trip of 15 minutes in the shimmering space like a fanciful picture with hundreds of flower lanterns floating on the water surface and get to release the flower garlands your own, wishing for good luck to the family and loved ones. Another suggested interesting activity (at your own cost) is joining in Bai choi – a traditional Vietnamese game, or just enjoy shopping at the Night market.

In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens. After a short introduction video showing how the tunnels were constructed, you will have a chance to crawl into a short section of the tunnels to feel the oppressive narrowness and heat inside. 19 May Barkot – Uttarkashi (100kms/4hr) HT :1352 MTS. Uttarkashi is home to a number of ashrams and temples and also to the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering. The name of the town reflects its similarity to and location (as north of) the city of Kashi (Varanasi). Similar to Varanasi, town of Uttarkashi is situated on the Ganges, lies next to a hill named Varun Parvat, on confluence of two rivers Varuna and Asi, has a ghat called Manikarnika Ghat and has a temple dedicated to Shiva (Kashi Vishwanath Temple) in the center of the town. Vishwanath temple – Vishwanath temple is one of the oldest Shiva temples in Northern India. Re-constructed in 1857 by Maharani Khaneti Devi of Tehri State in the ancient architectural style. It is situated at the heart of the town. A massive iron trident, symbolic of divine mother’s, is erected and worshiped from time immemorial at the temple complex. Ganeshji, Sakshi Gopal, Markandeya Rishi’s small shrines are also part of the temple complex. Akhand Jyoti as well as Akhand Abhishek, special aarti at morning and evening are offered. As per Skunda Puran, Uttarkashi is known as ‘Saumya Varanasi’, the abode of Lord Shiva in Kaliyug and counted as one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. Shakti temple – Right in front of the Vishwanath temple is Shakti temple. It has a big ‘Trishul’ of about 6 meters in height and a circumference of 90 cms. at bottom. 19 May Barkot – Uttarkashi (100kms/4hr) HT :1352 MTS. Uttarkashi is home to a number of ashrams and temples and also to the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering. The name of the town reflects its similarity to and location (as north of) the city of Kashi (Varanasi). Similar to Varanasi, town of Uttarkashi is situated on the Ganges, lies next to a hill named Varun Parvat, on confluence of two rivers Varuna and Asi, has a ghat called Manikarnika Ghat and has a temple dedicated to Shiva (Kashi Vishwanath Temple) in the center of the town. Vishwanath temple – Vishwanath temple is one of the oldest Shiva temples in Northern India. Re-constructed in 1857 by Maharani Khaneti Devi of Tehri State in the ancient architectural style. It is situated at the heart of the town. A massive iron trident, symbolic of divine mother’s, is erected and worshiped from time immemorial at the temple complex. Ganeshji, Sakshi Gopal, Markandeya Rishi’s small shrines are also part of the temple complex. Akhand Jyoti as well as Akhand Abhishek, special aarti at morning and evening are offered. As per Skunda Puran, Uttarkashi is known as ‘Saumya Varanasi’, the abode of Lord Shiva in Kaliyug and counted as one of the twelve Jyotirlingas.
