Coming to the War Remnants Museum, you can learn a part of how Vietnamese struggled and fought for their independence, freedom, and peace of the nation, as well as the locals’ perspective of the Vietnam War. The exhibits, such as weapons, documents, and photographs, displayed in the museum are firm evidence of war crimes in Vietnam and speak for the heroic actions of the former Vietnamese generation. We then visit the Reunification Palace, a witness to the fierce Vietnam War that ended in 1975. The grand building today is a Museum and Hall for official receptions. Nearby the Palace are the Notre Dame Cathedral (view from outside only), built between 1877 and 1883, and the colonial-styled Central Post Office, one of the city’s major landmarks. Breakfast at hotel. Morning, visit Cu Chi tunnels – the network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens. After a short introduction video showing how the tunnels were constructed, you will have a chance to crawl into a short section of the tunnels to feel the oppressive narrowness and heat inside. Afternoon, head to My Tho, the homeland of coconut and family factories with local products like coconut candy, rice paper,… Upon arrival, embark on the boat cruising on the mighty Mekong River viewing the life to the local people live along the banks. We stop to visit an island in the area, enjoy the fresh tropical fruits served in the heart of the lush garden accompanied by traditional southern Vietnamese folk music. Later, embark on other small boats rowed by the local people thru the small canals shadowed by water coconut trees to visit the local factories. There you will taste the honey tea and see the local people produce the coconut candy milk and of course you also can try it or stroll in the garden where the locals feed honeybee. Here, you will experience basket boat ride around the coconut forest, learn about the daily life of Vietnamese fishermen, their families and their community. You will surely experience the feeling of floating on the waves of water and join a equally fun basket boat race between the baskets together in the cheering and bustling music drum. Board on boat and commence cruising on the Cua Dai River. Coconut forest is a very unique eco region, with a beautiful mangrove forest, is the habitat of many precious animals such as, crab, shrimp, fish and even animals soft body. Local people will teach you how to paddle the Vietnamese unique bamboo basket boat. You will hear stories of past wars and the harsh conditions that soldiers have to endure. Back to Hoian town. Start visiting Ba Na Hill with many different attractions: Funicular, Le Jardin D’Amour, Linh Ung pagoda, Thich Ca Buddist statue, etc. This afternoon you continue to join activities and games in Fantasy Park. Later walk to the summit of the mountain at the height 1487m – the highest one of Ba Na Mountain, visit Bell Tower, Nghinh Phong tower a and Golden Bridge, to take beautiful photos of the mountain and Da Nang city. On reaching the river, you can soak your feet in the clear and icy water. God, it felt like my feet were frozen and numb for a second. After breakfast, start for a full day sightseeing tour. In first half, cover Darap village, Rimbi waterfalls, Khecheopalri Lake (Wishfulling Lake) and Khangchendzongha waterfalls. In the second half cover the Pemayangtse monastery, Rabdantse ruins (2nd capital of Sikkim), Sang-Ngag Choling (Skywalk), New helipad ground.  Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Pelling.
14 June Saturday: Pelling – Gangtok via Namchi (150 Kms. / 7 Hrs.)

After breakfast, transfer to Gangtok (5,500 Ft.). Via Namchi (5,500 Ft.) visit Siddheshwar Dham (Chardham) and Sai Temple. On arrival, check-in to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
15 June Sunday: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir (53 Kms. / 3 Hrs. one-way)

After breakfast, start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft. / 37 Kms. / 02 Hrs. from Gangtok) and further drive to Baba Mandir (13,200 ft. / 16 Kms. / 01 Hrs. from Tsomgo Lake). Evening back to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

  • Documents for Tsomgo Lake & New Baba Mandir – 02 Passport Size Photo along with Photo Copy of Photo ID Proof (Passport or Driving License or Voter ID (Pan Card & Adhaar Card is not accepted). For Children below 18 years, Birth Certificate / School Id / College Id are must. Original needs to carry while travelling.
  • In case of Land slide or any other reason, if Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provide alternate sightseeing.
16 June Monday: Gangtok Full Day Local Sightseeing

Start for a Full day city tour covering Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre (Closed on Sunday and 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month), Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Dro-dul Chorten, Gonjang Monastery and Banjakhri Falls (maximum 6 hours). Overnight stay at Gangtok.
17 June Tuesday: Gangtok – NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport (128 Kms. / 5 Hrs.)

After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and take the departure transfers to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra International Airport for your onward journey.
