Motithang Takin Preserve: Motithang Takin Preserve, near BBS tower, is a wildlife reserve in Thimphu, home to Bhutan’s national animal, the unique Takin.

Chele La Pass – The height of Chele La is 13084 ft (3988m) making one of the highest vantage points in Bhutan from which you can marvel at commanding spectacular views of the snowcapped Mountain Jomolhari (7326 meters) from the Chelela Pass and valleys while Himalayan yaks grazing in horizon dotted with electricity pylons. Customarily Passes are considered sacred and are usually marked with colorful prayer flags fluttering against the stiff wind of the highlands.

Permit for Bhutan:

Indian nationals do not require visa to travel in Bhutan. Only a valid passport or Voter Id card are the valid documents for obtaining entry permit.

Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and the highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. Later visirt local market in Gulmarg.One can also have a short trek upto Khilanmarg which can be covered in about 3 to 4 hrs or enjoy the scenic view of Kongdori on a Cable Car Known as Gondola (on direct pay basis). Early morning (4:00 AM) visit Tiger Hill (Subject to availability of token, if not possible at the time of Sunrise, then it will be covered in day time.) and then back to hotel. After breakfast, starting at 8.30 AM, visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Ropeway (Note: Closed on 19th of Every Month), Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Temple(Peace Pagoda). Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Note: Darjeeling ropeway will be on direct payment basis. It has limited cabins (Approx. 8 and per cabin 4 persons can be accommodated), resulting in long queues due to high tourist volume. Be patient with potential delays. It could also impact your schedule for other sightseeing activities due to time constraints.
