03 May          Trivandrum – Jatayu Nature Park – Trivandrum
In the morning visit Padmanabh Swami Temple, Raja Ravi Varma Art Gallery and Napier Museum. Proceed to visit Jatayu Nature Park, which holds the distinction of having the world’s largest bird sculpture of the Jatayu. The sculpture sits at the spot where Jatayu took his last breath. It measures 200 feet long, 150 feet wide, 70 feet in height and occupies 15,000 square feet of the floor area. The statue also houses Jatayu museum where you can enjoy audio visual show.

Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest): It is Bhutan’s most iconic landmark and religious Buddhist site in the world. The name Taktsang translates to “The Tiger’s Nest”. The temple is one of the holiest sites in Bhutan which clings impossibly to a sheer cliff face 900 meters above the valley. Although good trekkers can make it to the top in two hours, most of the guests take whole day to complete the hike. Overnight in Paro.

18 April: CHANDIGARH TO MANALI

Today is dedicated to exploring the popular attractions of Manali. After breakfast, visit the Hadimba Devi Temple, an ancient temple surrounded by cedar forests, known for its unique pagoda-style architecture. Next, explore Old Manali, a charming village with a bohemian vibe, narrow lanes, and quaint cafes. In the afternoon, head to the Vashisht Village, famous for its hot water springs and ancient temples. You can also visit the Manali Market for some last-minute souvenir shopping or enjoy some adventure activities like paragliding (seasonal and at your own expense) if time permits. Conclude your day with a relaxed dinner, reminiscing about your trip.

Post breakfast we drive towards Kargil road and start our sightseeing with Hall of Fame near Leh, which is worth a visit for every citizen. It is a glorious museum constructed by Indian army, Kali Mata Temple, GurudwaraPatthar Sahib Nestled deep in the Himalayas, which was built by the Lamas of Leh in 1517 to commemorate the visit of Guru Nanak Dev. A drive of another 4 km takes us to Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity. It has been noticed that when a vehicle is parked on neutral gear on this metallic road the vehicle slides up & further Driving through a picturesque landscape we reach the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar river 4 km before Nimmu village. And Visit to Alchi Gonpa, 70 Kms from Leh, on the banks of the Indus, is the Alchi Gompa dating a thousand years back. One of its walls features thousands of miniature sized pictures of the Buddha. Three large sized images made of clay and painted brightly are its focal attractions. No longer an active religious centre, it is looked after by monks from the Liker monastery. This is the only monastery amongst 34 monasteries, which is not located on a hilltop.After visiting above places we drive back to Hotel for Overnight Stay.
07 May:  –  Leh to Nubra Valley (125 Kms / aprx. 06 hrs)

After an early breakfast we drive to NUBRA VALLEY leads through KHARDUNG-LA-PASS (the highest motorable road in the world) at 18,390 ft, around 39 kms from Leh. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldorma or the valley of flowers. It is situated to the North of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. Arrive Hunder by afternoon and rest of the day at leisure to explore beautiful village of Hunder with a Visit to Diskit Monastery. Overnight stay at Camp.

08 May – Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via shayouk river.
After your breakfast drive to pangong Lake Via shayouk River . Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometer at its widest point and over 130km long, it is bisected by the international border between India and China. A few years back the government decided to open it to tourists though the lake and its surrounding is under army surveillance. Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. Evening at leisure and overnight stay at the Camp on the shore of the Lake…
