Day 02:  – Sham Valley (Full Day Excursion)

Post breakfast we drive towards Kargil road and start our sightseeing with Hall of Fame near Leh, which is worth a visit for every citizen. It is a glorious museum constructed by Indian army, Kali Mata Temple, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib Nestled deep in the Himalayas, which was built by the Lamas of Leh in 1517 to commemorate the visit of Guru Nanak Dev. A drive of another 4 km takes us to Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity. It has been noticed that when a vehicle is parked on neutral gear on this metallic road the vehicle slides up & further Driving through a picturesque landscape we reach the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar river 4 km before Nimmu village. And Visit to Alchi Gonpa, 70 Kms from Leh, on the banks of the Indus, is the Alchi Gompa dating a thousand years back. One of its walls features thousands of miniature sized pictures of the Buddha. Three large sized images made of clay and painted brightly are its focal attractions. No longer an active religious center, it is looked after by monks from the Liker monastery. This is the only monastery amongst 34 monasteries, which is not located on a hilltop.

After visiting above places, we drive back to Hotel for Overnight Stay.

Day 04: Nubra- Turtuk- Nubra

Nubra to Turtuk Valley and back to Nubra. Turtuk is the last village on the Indian side and was earlier on the other side of the border. The people and culture of Turtuk are very distinct and you will notice the same when you visit this place. Carry packed lunch with you. Dinner and Overnight at Nubra.

Day 05 – Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via shayouk river

 After your breakfast drive to pangong Lake Via shayouk River . Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometer at its widest point and over 130km long, it is bisected by the international border between India and China. A few years back the government decided to open it to tourists though the lake and its surrounding is under army surveillance. Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. Evening at leisure and overnight stay at the Camp on the shore of the Lake…

Day 06 – Pangong Lake/ LEH  (06 hours approx.)

After an early breakfast we leave for Leh.  Rest For the day. Overnight stay IN LEH

Day 07: Leh Sight Seeing

Post breakfast, visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Shey Palace, Thiksay Monestary Rancho School and evening stroll at Leh Market.

Day 08 – Depart Leh (Fly Out) Tour concludes.

    Upon arrival in Kathmandu at the International Airport better known as

    “Tribhuwan International Airport”. After collecting your baggage there are

    Two Telephone companies known as “NCell & NTC ( Nepal Telecommunication).

    They have a Stall each. One Passport size photo and a copy of the passport will be required.

    One can purchase a Sim. Activation time is 10 mins on an average. Cost is Inr 150 per Sim which

    can be topped off as per requirement. It will be a 3G card.

    We are not in a position to take out the Sim in advance.

  • *A valid Indian passport or an election Id is the only valid document for adults ( 18 yrs & above)

    for travel to Kathmandu by air. For children below the age of 18 years the school or college

     id suffices. The id should clearly reflect the traveller’s picture, school or college name, date of

    birth as well as the class in which the student is  studying. Request that this be checked with

    Indian Immigration authorities at your end too. This information stands good while writing this mail.

Cruise start from 13:30 hours to 17:00 hours, there is one and half hour break for lunch in between

Since the house boat is moving through country side and paddy fields there may be possibilities of pests may see in house boats
Always close doors and windows to avoid mosquitos entering in to bed rooms
Food will be preset traditional Kerala menu, breakfast will be lite e.g.: idly, omelet, bread and jam
Since there is no storage facility last minute food orders will be difficult once the boat left from boarding point
Crews in the house boats are not professionally trained by any hospitality institutions, most of them are oarsmen of erstwhile goods canoes, it may cause language issues
Tip is mandatory
There may be chances of unexpected power failure and technical issues at any time
TV and sound system may get malfunction due to the salt air in the lake
TV channels are not available
Shoes and slippers are not allowed in boats ( has to keep in the common area after entering in the house boat)
All House boat crews are belongs to any of the trade union, trade union influence higher than the management
All guest has to sleep by 22:00 hours since the crew sleep in the common area of same boat
Crews may insist you to buy fish and prawns from the shops on the way, buy it if you are comfortable with rates and quality
Facilities, cleanliness, quality of linen, towel, toiletries are not comparable to hotels and resorts
Sometimes Direct check in to house boat from the boarding point is not possible due to climatic and traffic congestions in the lake, in that situation guest will be transferred by small motor boat or shikhara boat from boarding point to house boat which parked away from the boarding point
Crew may insist you to hire shikhara boats, speed boats or any other water sports activities, go ahead if you are comfortable with rates and safety concerns
There are no two house boat alike
Most of the house boats toilets and bath rooms are being supplied with brackish water
A/c will work 21:00 hours to 06:00 hours In bed room in deluxe boats, in premium boats A/c available in the bed room on request during stay , in the luxury boats a/c available in rooms and ding area on request during the stay

Vehicle Usage –

All vehicle services are time-bound (8:00 AM To 08:00 PM ) and are provided on point-to-point basis only as per the itinerary.
Any usage of the transport services between 21.00 Hrs to 07.00 Hrs would attract an additional Driver’s Bata (each time) which can be settled directly with the Driver on a daily basis
They are not provided for repeat services or disposal for personal activities, such as market visits, shopping, dinner, etc.
Vehicles will change during the tour, hence guests are advised to not leave behind any belonging in the car
Detour/tour rearrangement may become inevitable during natural/manmade disturbances like landslides, road blockages, political disturbance, train/flight delays etc. The cost arising due to such factors will be billed additionally, which is payable directly to the driver.
Given Transportation rate may be changed if is there any major hike in the fuel price (AND OR) change in tax structure, however this can be advised 30 days prior to the commencement of the tour

Day 1: Hanoi arrival – city tour

Welcome to Hanoi – The Capital City of Vietnam!

Upon arrival, picked up by the local tour guide and transferred downtown. You can leave your luggage in the hotel, relax by your own until check in (Early checkin excludes).

Afternoon, you will start half day city tour to visit Ba Dinh Square, the largest square in Hanoi. This is where all of the city’s biggest cultural and political events take place. We will take some photos of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum from the outside, where is the last rest place of Ho Chi Minh President. Then we continue to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university. The temple was built in 1070, and the gardens and well-preserved architecture offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past.After visiting the temple, we will walk around Hoan Kiem Lake – a picturesque lake in the heart of Hanoi. We will then take a leisurely walk around the Old Quarter where you can take beautiful pictures, freely admire the ancient beauty of historical relics as well as immerse in the busy life of locals in there, a fascinating network of narrow alleys and shophouses. The Old Quarter is also known as “The 36 Streets,” as each street is named after the merchandise that was traditionally sold there.

Day 2: Day 2 : Hanoi – Halong bay – Overnight on cruise (B, L, D) – Shuttle Bus

Breakfast at the hotel, then check out. At about 07:30 – 08:00 am, you will be picked up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarters and transferred to Ha Long Bay, the pride of the Gulf of Tonkin, a Natural World Heritage as recognized by UNESCO in 1994 and 2006.

Upon arrival at the Cruise Port, you will enjoy a warm welcome from cruise staff and complete the check-in procedure for the overnight cruise to discover the magnificent beauty of this “Descending Dragon” bay, created by thousands of odd-shaped limestone rocks and karst grottoes. After a lunch on board, we can visit the Grottos, stop for swimming or kayaking, pass floating houses, and approach islets to enjoy their beauty in close proximity. Later in the afternoon, go back to the cruise and enjoy the cooking demonstration before having dinner. In the evening, attend activities on the boat or relax at your own leisure. You should wake up early to enjoy the dawn on the sea in the early morning. The Vietnamese call the “East Sea” by a point-oriented name “Eastern Sea”, so you may guess how miraculous seeing the sunrise over the islets of the Bay. After breakfast our boat will continue to cruise in marvelous areas, where almost each islet has its own name, adopting its shape or reminiscent like Sail Island, Fisherman’s head rock, Butterfly rock or Turtle islet etc. Check out your room and have brunch on board while the cruise coming back the pier. Disembark from the cruise, return to Hanoi by shuttle bus.

Then private driver pick you up from Hanoi and transfer to Noi Bai airport (without tour guide) for yourflight to Danang(air tickets excluded).

Day 4 :  Danang – Cam Thanh coconut village – Hoian Ancient town (B)

After breakfast, we transfer to visit Cam Thanh village and Bay Mau coconut forest. Here you have chance to experience the traditional way of life. Take a bamboo basket boat tour through the coconut groves, learn how to paddle a traditional boat . Relax in the peaceful countryside by simply sit back and enjoy the views. Learn about traditional handicrafts by watching local artisans weave baskets and mats using coconut leaves and other natural materials. You can even try your hand at making your own. In the afternoon, after our transfer to Hoi An Ancient Town, we will be immersed in a magical world of Oriental feel. We will walk over the Japanese Bridge, visit Chinese Assembly halls, and explore ancient houses. We can also listen to folk music at old club-houses or stroll into the market by Thu Bon river. Here, we may feel the same inspiration as artists who have found the rooftops of Hoi An to be a source of inspiration.
The rest of the time is free for shopping. Hoi An is legendary for its affordable yet quality tailoring services. The streets of the ancient town are also lined with shop houses and makeshift stalls selling handicrafts, jewelry, traditional apparel, and shoes. The central marketplace is filled with locals bargaining for fresh produce and foodstuffs. Hoi An town in the evening is a magical place, where is bathed in warm yellow light from the lanterns that hang from the shophouses, and the streets are filled with the sound of music and laughter. Drive back to hotel in Danang for overnight.

Day 5: Danang – Ba Na Hills – Danang (B) – SIC Tour

After breakfast, about 7h40 am -8h15am: Pick visitors up from yourhotel and join to our group to visit Sun World Bana Hills (Sun World Ba Na Hills is endowed with all climateand natural advantages for a tourist area) with the height of 1487 meters above the sea level. Here, visitors are immersed in experiences of European cultural tranquility and exiciting stops where festivities know no ends). This is the French high- quality resort in 1990s.

9h00-9h30am: The bus arrives to Bana Hills entrance, starting the journey up the mountain by cable car, achieving 2 world records – the longest in the world at 5,042.62m – the height difference between the two largest stations in the world at 1,291.81m. Visitors will stop at 3rd cable car station and visit around some points such as: Golden Bridge (golden hand bridge), 100 year-old Debay wine cellar, Love Garden – Le jardin d’amour, Linh Ung pagoda with a Gautama Buddha statue with 27m height.

After that, You got free time to explore games in Fantasy Park, the largest indoor recreational area of Vietnam that spares hundreds of indoor games for families and children (by your own cost)

3h00-3h30pm: Visitors gather at the meeting points, checking belongings and enter the cable car to leave Bana hills.

3h30-4h00pm: The group return to Danang city, and visit the local Silk craft village and local specialities foods on the way back.

5h00-5h30pm:The bus will drop you at the same point picking up in the morning . Overnight in Danang.

Afternoon, you will start half day city tour to visit the War Remnants Museum, one of the most famous historical attractions in Saigon. Coming to the War Remnants Museum, you can learn a part of how Vietnamese struggled and fought for their independence, freedom, and peace of the nation, as well as the locals’ perspective of the Vietnam War. The exhibits, such as weapons, documents, and photographs, displayed in the museum are firm evidence of war crimes in Vietnam and speak for the heroic actions of the former Vietnamese generation. We then visit the Reunification Palace, a witness to the fierce Vietnam War that ended in 1975. The grand building today is a Museum and Hall for official receptions. Nearby the Palace are the Notre Dame Cathedral (view from outside only), built between 1877 and 1883, and the colonial-styled Central Post Office, one of the city’s major landmarks. Late in the afternoon, visit Ben Thanh Market, a symbol of Saigon. Have some shopping time there.

Leaving the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and start your trip to depart for My Tho, the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda which sated back to the late 19th century. Then boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands. Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around country lane and seeing orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, folk song music which performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation. Riding a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and treat yourself in the beauty of the countryside, visit the family business, visit honey-bee farm, enjoy honey tea and coconut candy workshop.
