Day 1  Christchurch 
On arrival, Self drive guests will collect a rental car and drive to the hotel.
Day 2  Christchurch  – Queenstown

Travel across the Canterbury Plains before arriving at Lake Tekapo. Continue south to the town of Twizel before travelling through the historic Central Otago region to Lake Wakatipu and the ‘Alpine Resort’ of Queenstown. (B)

Day 4  Queenstown – Doubtful Sound – Te anau
Experience the peacefulness and tranquility of Doubtful Sound by coach with 2 boat cruises included, on Lake Manapouri and Doubtful Sound. This area is not visited as much as Milford Sound and is a piece of paradise! (B)
Day 5  Te Anau – Invercargill  – Stewart Island

This morning is at your leisure to explore Napier.  Perhaps take an Art Deco walking tour or enjoy a vintage car sightseeing tour of the city (optional tours not included in the tour price). This afternoon enjoy a wine tour that visits and includes tastings of three local wineries. (B)
Day 6   Stewart Island
Today is at your leisure. Many people visit Stewart Island for the natural bush and birdlife and the opportunity to see the native kiwi in the wild! (Optional tours not included in tour price). (B)
Day 7 Stewart Island – Invercargill

Today is at your leisure on Stewart Island until check in for your return flight. There are many optional wildlife cruises and walks (optional activities not included in the tour price). On arrival in Invercargill you will be transferred to your accommodation. (B)
Ferry crossing to Bluff.  Bluff – Invercargill: 28km (approx 30 mins)
Day 8 Invercargill – dunedin

Today, Self drive clients may choose to drive along the Catlin’s Coast, past sweeping beaches and towering cliffs to the Scottish influenced city of Dunedin. (B)
 Day 9 Dunedin – Christchurch 
Depart Dunedin and travel north to the Garden City of Christchurch. This afternoon is at your leisure in Christchurch. (B)

Day 10  Christchurch – Hometown

Visit Te Puia Thermal Reserve to see boiling mud pools and roaring geysers. Following this, visit Rainbow Springs to see New Zealand’s trout, birds and wildlife before continuing to the Agrodome for a New Zealand farm show featuring sheep dog demonstrations, cow milking and an introduction to the stars of our sheep industry. Day 4  Rotorua – Napier
Travel the forested road from Rotorua to arrive in Taupo. Lake Taupo is roughly the size of Singapore and a popular holiday spot for New Zealanders. Continue over rugged mountain ranges and well cultivated farmland to arrive on the East Coast and the ‘Art Deco’ city of Napier. (B)
Day 5  Napier

Travel across the fertile Canterbury Plains to Lake Tekapo and the ‘Church of the Good Shepherd’ before continuing on to New Zealand’s highest mountain – Mt Cook. Depart Mt Cook and follow the shores of Lake Pukaki south through the historic CentralOtago region to the ‘Alpine Resort’ of Queenstown. Overnight stay in Queenstown. (B)
Day 7  Queenstown – Milford Sound – Queenstown
Follow the southern arm of Lake Wakatipu to Lumsden, and onward to Lake Te Anau. Enter the Eglinton Valley and travel through the breath taking man made Homer Tunnel to reach Milford Sound. Enjoy a cruise on this world famous fiord, dominated by Mitre Peak and the cascading Bowen Falls. Return to Queenstown. Overnight stay in Queenstown. (B)
Day 8  Queenstown
A free day to explore the endless optional attractions available. Overnight stay in Queenstown. (B) One can enjoy bungy jumping, jet boating, white water rafting, gondola rides and much more.

1) Nzone Skydiving:Embrace the fear, at Nzone Skydive enjoy scenic flight (depending on your feet selection) to altitude, then you will nudge towards the edge of the plane before being thrown out! Day 9  Queenstown – Glacier Region
Depart Queenstown and travel via Lake Wanaka and through the historic Haast Pass, gateway to the World Heritage Westland National Park. Continue up the West Coast past spectacular mountain ranges, native forests and lakes to the glacier region of Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers. Overnight stay in Glacier Region. (B)
 Day 10  Glacier Region – Christchurch
Travel north to Greymouth today and board the Tranz Alpine train (seat in coach guests only). Ascend through lush beech forests past the alpine village of Arthur’s Pass before crossing the spectacular Southern Alps. Travel over Canterbury Plains to Christchurch. Overnight stay in Christchurch. (B)

Day 3: Rome – Archaeological Rome

The Amphitheatre created to entertain ancient Roman citizens with bloody shows of gladiators, animals and cruel games, is now one of the most fascinating landmark of the City. Then, walk on the original path of ancient Rome along the Via Sacra and see the Temples of Vesta, Antonino and Faustina, the ancient Basilica Julia and Aemilia and dream about the glorious past of the Roman Empire. Day 4: Rome – Sorrento
After breakfast, private transfer to Rome railway station and transfer by train (2nd class ticket, high speed) to
Sorrento. Upon arrival, private transfer to Sorrento. Accommodation in hotel. Free time at leisure for personal visits or for a shopping tour. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Amalfi Coast
After breakfast, drive along the breathtaking Amalfi Coast and surrounding area, discovering the picturesque towns
of Positano, Amalfi and Ravello from a local perspective. First stop will be Positano. Thanks to its unique architecture,the town is considered today one of the most beautiful stretches of our coastline. Continuing through the wonderful villages of Praiano, Furore and Conca dei Marini, we’ll stop in Amalfi for 2 hours. Free time at your disposal to discover the history of this ancient Maritime Republic. Last stop will be Ravello. Return to Sorrento in the afternoon.Overnight at hotel.
Day 6: Sorrento – Florence
After breakfast, private transfer from the hotel in Sorrento to Naples railway station and transfer by train (2nd class
ticket, high speed) to Florence. Upon arrival, private transfer to the hotel and accommodation in your room. Free

Day 7: Florence
Breakfast at the hotel and morning free at leisure. In the afternoon enjoy a Florence guided city tour, to discover this incredible city. Crossing the beautiful and green hills of Florence we reach the picturesque Etruscan-Roman village of Fiesole that towers above Florence and the Arno Valley. Heading back to the city by bus, we will ride through the famous Lungarno (way along the Arno River) we will reach the Basilica di Santa Croce. Our walking tour will continue to Piazza Signoria, heart of the city social life. Here we will admire the architecture of Palazzo Vecchio and the famous statues of Loggia de’ Lanzi.
