Day 01: Guwahati – Bhalukpong (255 Kms / 6 hrs.)

Meet and greet on arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station and transfer to Bhalukpong. On arrival check in to the hotel. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Bhalukpong.

Day 02: Bhalukpong – Dirang (140 kms / 7 hrs.)

After early breakfast drive to Dirang. On the way visit Tipi Orchidarium situated on the banks of the river Bharali, a place over 500 orchids, on display there are some rare species of orchid. Arunachal has largest range of orchids in the country then take a break to visit Nag Temple. Continue your drive and do not forget to keep your cameras handy as you cross beautiful waterfalls and get some spectacular views.

On arrival check in to the hotel. Afternoon visit Apple orchard & Kiwi Farm (depending upon season), Dirang Monastery and Kalachakra Monastery. Dirang is also famous for hot water springs where people take bath to cure skin ailments. Overnight stay at Dirang

Day 04: Tawang Local Sightseeing

After breakfast visit Tawang Monstery world famous seventeenth century Tawang Monastery, also known as Galden Namgyal Lhatse which overlooks the wide Tawang Valley at a height of 10,000 ft. The monastery is a vast complex of 65 buildings housing Lamas and antique scriptures written in gold letters and ancient scripture, images and has an eight meters high gilded Buddha statue. It is the largest monastery in the Himalayan region and the second oldest monastery in Asia. Five hundred lamas live in its residential buildings and it is rich in.

Later visit Urgeling Gompa, 6th Dalai Lama’s birth place who is the only Indian to have risen to such a high position in Gelupka Sect of Buddhism so far. Inside the monastery there are several Stupas (Vihar) and people from all walks of life visit this place during Buddhist new year to get the blessing for the coming year. Then proceed to the War Memorial which is dedicated to the martyrs of the 1962 Sino-Indian war. The memorial is 40-foot-high and like a stupa in design. It is locally called ‘Namgyal Chortan’. The  names of 2420 martyrs imprinted in gold on 32 black granite plagues.

You can also visit the craft center in Tawang sells beautiful masks, hand woven carpets, jewellery in silver, coral and amber, ‘chubas’ the local dressand delightful affordable mementos. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Tawang.

Day 05: Tawang Local Sightseeing – High altitude lakes and Bumla Pass

Today morning after early breakfast, you will drive to visit high altitude lake called as Shonga-tser Lake, popularly known as Madhuri Lake located 35, kms away from Tawang near the China Border. The drive to Sangestser Lake is full of thrill and one can still see the war bankers that had been used during the Chinese aggression in 1962. Nestled amidst the pristine mountains and picturesque surrounding, It was formed in the aftermath of the 1950 earthquake. Prior to the earthquake, this piece of land used to be employed as the grazing ground for the cattle. The evidence of it can be seen in the protruding trunks of the dead trees from the middle of the lake. The lake has been under supervision of Army men, who have also arranged for a cafeteria nearby. Tourists can relish on the delicious Momos, Maggis topped with a cup of tasty coffee or tea. Tourists can also take to trekking around the lake while enjoying the gentle lashes of the pleasant breeze around. You can drive further to Bumla Pass which is located about 37 km away from Tawang at the Indo-China border over 15,200 ft above sea level. During return take a photo stop at the beautiful PTSO lake enroute (17 kms away from Tawang, Pangong Tang Tso Lake popularly known as PT Tso which is an extremely scenic drive with bird’s eye view of the township below). Later in the afternoon drive back to hotel. Rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight at Tawang..

Day 06: Tawang – Bomdila (170 kms / 8 hrs.)

After breakfast transfer to Bomdila (8,200 ft.) – the head quarter of West Kameng District of Arunachal Pradesh and also known for its Buddhist monasteries. It has a lot of attractions for the visitors for its cool climate. On arrival check in to the hotel. Later visit Gontse Rabgyaling Monastery (Upper Gonpa), Thub-Chog Gatsel Ling Monastery (Lower Gonpa).Bomdila offers wonderfully panoramic view of Himalayan landscapes and snow clad ranges. Evening you can visit the local market. Overnight stay at Bomdila.

Day 07: Bomdila – Guwahati (355 kms / 11 hrs.)

After Breakfast transfer to Guwahati. On Arrival Check in at your hotel Arrive and check in at hotel. Overnight stay at Guwahati.

Day 08: Guwahati Local Sightseeing

After breakfast out to visit Kamakhya Temple, Tirupati Balaji Temple, Nabagraha Temple, Assam State Museum, State Zoo cum Botanical Garden, Regional Science Centre and Sukreswar Temple (The 6th Jyotirlinga of Shiva). 05th June               Delhi – Haridwar (230 kms/6-7hrs)   HT : 314 MTS.
Arrival Delhi Airport / Delhi Railway Station, Meet & Assist further drive to Haridwar. Transfer to your Hotel. If time permits visit Mansadevi Temple, Chandidevi Temple, Daksha Mahadev Temples & Others. Also visit Har-ki-Pauri for Ganga Aarti. 06th June                : Haridwar – Guptkashi (210kms/7-8hr)  HT : 1319 MTS.
Morning after breakfast, drive straight to Guptkashi. On arrival Check In at the Hotel, evening visit Ardh Narishwar Temple. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
The name Gupt Kashi means “Hidden Benares. Mythology describes how when the Pandava brothers were searching for a glimpse of Shiva, Shivji first concealed himself at Gupt Kashi, but later fled from them further up the valley to Kedarnath, where the Pandavas finally got their wish fulfilled. There are more tangible connections as well-the Kedarnath pandas (hereditary pilgrimage priests) live in Gupt Kashi during the winter months, and after the Kedarnath temple closes for the winter, the image of Kedarnath passes through Gupt Kashi on its way to Ukhimath, where it stays for the winter.

Weather – Generally pleasant in summer, the temperature ranges from 25-30 degree Celsius. Cold in winters.

07th June    Guptkashi – Kedarnath (30kms by road & 19kms Trek) 
After medical check-up proceed to Phata Trek take helicopter to Kedarnath (3584 mts) .Tour members should carry personal medicines, heavy woolen, toiletries and clothes for an overnight halt at Kedarnath. Visit Kedarnath Temple. Overnight stay.
Kedarnath: The Kedarnath shrine, one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is a scenic spot situated, against the backdrop of the majestic Kedarnath range. Kedar is another name of Lord Shiva, the protector and the destroyer. According to legend, the Pandavas after having won over the Kaurava in the Kurukshetra war, felt guilty of having killed their own brothers and sought the blessings of Lord Shiva for redemption. He eluded them repeatedly and while fleeing took refuge at Kedarnath in the form of a bull. On being followed he dived into the ground, leaving his hump on the surface. The remaining portions of Lord Shiva appeared at four other places and are worshipped there as his manifestations. The arms appeared at Tungnath, the face at Rudranath, the belly at Madhmaheshwar and his locks (hair) with head at Kalpeshwar. Kedarnath and the four above-mentioned shrines are treated as Panch Kedar.

Drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. Check in Hotel. Later at evening visit Badrinath Temple for Aarti. Overnight stay.

Badrinath one of the ‘Four Dhams’ is one of the most celebrated pilgrimage spots of the country and is situated at an elevation of 3,133 meters, guarded on either side by the two mountain ranges known as Nar & Narayan with the towering Neelkanth Peak providing a splendid backdrop. This revered spot was once carpeted with wild berries. Thus the place got the name “Badri van”, meaning “forest of berries”.
Tapt Kund : Natural thermal springs on the bank of the river Alaknanda, where it is customary to bathe before entering the Badrinath temple.
Narad Kund : A recess in the river, near Tapt Kund, forming a pool from where the Badrinath idol was recovered.
Brahama Kapal : A flat platform on the bank of river Alaknanda. Hindus perform proppitiating rites for their deceased ancestors.
Sheshnetra : 1.5kms. away is a boulder having an impression of the legendary serpent, better known as the Sheshnag’s eye.
Charanpaduka : 3kms. away is a beautiful meadow where the footprint of Lord Vishnu is seen on a boulder.
Mata Murty Temple : Devoted to the mother of Sri Badrinathji. Other important temples include Sesh Netra Temple, Urvashi Temple and Charanpaduka.
Mana Village : Inhabited by an Indo-Mongolian tribe, it is the last Indian village before Tibet.
Vasundhara : As the name suggests, vasundhara is a magnificent water fall. This place is 5 kms. from Badrinath out of which 2 kms. is motorable upto Mana.
Bhim Pul : On the other side of Mana village, a massive rock forming a natural bridge, lies over the roaring Saraswati river. It presents a spectacular view of water thundering down through the narrow passage under the rock and is believed to have been placed there by Bhim, the second eldest among the five Pandava brothers.

Vyas Gufa (cave) : Near Mana Village, this is a rock-cave where Ved Vyas is believed to have composed the Mahabharata and the pauranic commentaries.

11th June                 Rudraprayag – Rishikesh (140kms/4-5hr)  
Drive to Rishikesh, the ‘place of sages’ is a celebrated spiritual town on the bank of Ganga  and is surrounded by Shivalik range of the Himalayas on three sides. It is said that when Raibhya Rishi did hard penances, God appeared by the name of ” Hrishikesh ” and this area hence firth came to be known as Rishikesh. Later visit Rishikesh Temples & Sight Seeing – Laxman Jhulla, Ram Jhulla, Triveni Ghat, Bharat Mandir, Shivananda Ashram. At evening visit Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Ashram. Check in Hotel.  Overnight stay.

Departure by  ferry from Port Blair – Havelock. The ferry takes 2.5 hrs to reach Havelock. On arrival proceed to selected hotel and in the evening visit Beach No 7* (Radhanagar Beach) rated as the ‘Best Beach in Asia’ by Time Magazine. Return back to hotel to relax and unwind. (Kindly remind hotel to provide packed breakfast at Port Blair since the same is not included at Havelock).

Day 01: NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport – Gangtok (128 Kms. / 5 Hrs)

Meet and Greet on arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra International Airport and transfer to Gangtok (5,500 Ft.). On arrival check-in to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 02: Gangtok – Lachen (120 Kms. / 6 Hrs.)

After breakfast check out from hotel with limited luggage and proceed to Lachen (8,980 Ft.) in North Sikkim. On the way, take a break for some beautiful spots that are worth seeing and visiting like Naga Waterfall, The Confluence of Lachen Chu (River) and Lachung Chu (River) at Chungthang and Bhim Nala Waterfall. On arrival at Lachen, check into your hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at Lachen.

• Documents for Lachen & Lachung – 02 Passport Size Photo along with Photo Copy of Photo ID Proof (Passport or Driving License or Voter ID (Pan Card & Adhaar Card is not accepted). For Children below 18 years, Birth Certificate / School Id / College Id are must. Original needs to carry while travelling.

Day 03: Excursion to Chopta Valley and Gurudongmar Lake (137 Kms. / 6 Hrs.)  

Early breakfast proceeds to visit Gurudongmar Lake (17,100 ft.) via Chopta valley (13,200 ft.) and Thangu.  Gurudongmar is considered as one of the 2nd highest lake in World, generally covered with snow from December to April or even more, and is known as the Holy / Sacred Lake. It will take approximately 3-4 hours’ drive from Lachen (One way). Afternoon back to hotel have your lunch rest of the day is at leisure for individual activities, Dinner and Overnight stay at Lachen.

Day 04: Lachen – Lachung (47 Kms. / 2 Hrs.)

After breakfast transfer to Lachung (8,738 Ft.) through the picturesque valley. On arrival check-in to the hotel, have lunch and enjoy the day as you like it. Overnight stay at Lachung.

Day 05: Excursion to Yumthang Valley and Zero Point (51 Kms. / 3 Hrs. one-way)

After breakfast drive to Yumthang Valley, which is also known as Valley of Flowers (12,000 ft / 26 Kms. / 1½ Hrs., one-way) and further drive to Zero Point or Yumesamdong (14,500 ft. / 25 Kms. / 1½ Hrs. one way), one of the highest motorable roads in Sikkim and close to Tibet Border. The road to Zero Point is quite treacherous, but the possibility of getting snow is very high as Zero Point is mostly covered by snow almost throughout the year. On the way to back, visit Hot Spring, which is considered to have medicinal properties. Back to the hotel by afternoon. After lunch free for individual activities, Dinner and Overnight stay at Lachung.

Day 06: Lachung – Gangtok (116 Kms. / 6 Hrs.)

After breakfast, transfer to Gangtok (5,500 Ft.). On arrival, check-in to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 07: Hotel – Gangtok Airport

After breakfast  Transfer to Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey.

Important Facts for Traveller’s:

North Sikkim (Lachung – Lachen)

Ø  All the packages start from Gangtok & ends at Gangtok.

Ø  Guest Traveling to North Sikkim (Lachung / Lachen) requires 02 copies of passport size photograph, original photo ID proof with photo copy (identity card – Voter ID card / Pass-port / Driving License) for processing the permit. Aadhar Card / PAN Card – not acceptable for issuance of the Permit.

Ø  In Lachen and Lachung most of the hotels are offering Vegetarian food

Ø  Packages are available with all meals at hotel only (on the way meals if any, Guest has to pay their own).

Ø  All guests are requested to carry minimum luggage when travelling to North Sikkim and keep the balance luggage at the hotel in Gangtok because of bad road conditions of North Sikkim especially during transshipment due to landslides and road blockages.

Ø  Meal on Day 1 of the tour to North Sikkim would start from dinner at the booked hotel. All other meals would also be available at the booked hotel only. If the guest wants to have any meal on the way, they can do so on direct payment basis.

Ø  Child below 10 yrs. and Senior Citizen is not suggestible to visit Gurudongmar Lake (17,100 Ft.) in Lachen due to high Altitude and low Oxygen Level.

Ø  Hotels available are only with basic amenities & simple food cooked by the locals and not by hotel Chef.

Ø  In maximum hotels there is no geyser in the bathroom – hot water is supplied by buckets by the hotelier.

Ø  No room heating systems are provided in the room in maximum hotels due to shortage of power, instead the hotelier provides hot water bags.

Ø  There are telephone lines but due to cable fault and weak signal, it is often out of order.  Airtel, Vodafone & BSNL operates better in this area.

Ø  Due to shortage of power the guest sometimes, may have to bear with candle light.

Ø  Once the package is booked & confirmed no refund will be entertained.

Ø  The best season for traveling to North Sikkim is Mid February to Mid-June & Mid-September to Mid-December.

Ø  Excursion to Zero point (Yumesamdong) is kept optional which the guest can avail with an extra cost. Approx. cost is Rs. 4000 per vehicle.

Ø  Please inform your guest to maintain the timing for the sightseeing / transfers which will advisable by our executive.

Ø  The tour executive reserves the rights to make changes or omit any place of visit, if it becomes necessary due to bad weather, bad road, strike or band, security reason etc.

Ø  Kindly inform us if the guests are senior citizens or have health related issues (like arthritis, heart problems etc.) or any such matter which might need special arrangements. Some itineraries will not be suitable for them and we will suggest accordingly.

Ø  The security concerns, driver’s working hours etc. will be kept in mind while planning the tour and sightseeing. 

Ø  We try to ensure that the sightseeing points do not fall on a closing day. Incase due to inevitable situation if the sightseeing falls on a closing day, it will have to be left out. Conducting that particular tour or sightseeing point the next day will be subject to time availability.  Weather in the region is unpredictable. We have kept your sightseeing related with nature flexible.

Ø  The region’s prime tourist interest in its Nature and eco-friendly atmosphere. The facilities available here cannot be matched with other developed destinations.

Above are the cancellation rules but we will put our best possible effort to minimize the cancellation charges.

• Category of Rooms in the packages normally remains to base category of rooms.
• A valid photo ID proof for all guests staying at the hotel is mandatory.
• For Extra adult in the room we will provide an extra bed (wherever possible), but most of the hotels only provide extra mattress or roll away bed. Most of the hotels have no provision of an extra bed.
• Operator reserves the right to re-arrange itinerary to suit hotel availability without changing the total number of days in each destination and without compromising with any services.
