DAY – 4 KOK-TOBE AND SHOPPING TOUR AND DEPARTURE TO BAKU

• Proceed towards the tour of Kok-Tobe. It is a mountain which is the highest point of Almaty, Kazakhstan’s largest city. There is a popular recreation area on top of the mountain. The mountain’s height is 1100 meters above sea level. Kok-tobe is one of the main landmarks in the city, and it is popular among visitors and tourists to Almaty.
• The Kok-Tobe recreational area has a variety of amusement park type attractions and restaurants. It is connected to downtown Almaty by a cable car line. The City Terminal is located near Hotel Kazakhstan. Also, there is a 372 meters tall TV Tower at the foot of the mountain. The tower can be seen from most parts of the city.

• 14:00 later experience the happening street of Nizami Street known for Shopping.The Street’s history could be traced back to Baku’s town-planning project of 1864. The street runs through the city’s downtown from west to east. It begins from Abdulla Shaig Street, in mountainous part of the city and ends at railroad bed on SabitOrujov Street, near a monument to Shah Ismail Khatai in “Black City”.
• 17:30 Tour continues with the visit to the charming example of modern architecture – The Heydar Aliyev Center– a 57,500 m2 building complex in Baku, Azerbaijan designed by Iraqi-British architect ZahaHadid and noted for its distinctive architecture and flowing, curved style that eschews sharp angles. The center is named after Heydar Aliyev, the first secretary of Soviet Azerbaijan from 1969 to 1982, and president of Azerbaijan Republic from October 1993 to October 2003. (Photo shoot outside)

DAY –6 FLAME TOUR

• 10:00 Assembly at hotel lobby. Tour starts with Ateshgah (Fire Worshippers Temple)
• Based on Persian and Indian inscriptions, the temple was used as a Hindu and Zoroastrian place of worship. “Atash” is the Persian word for fire. The pentagonal complex, which has a courtyard surrounded by cells for monks and a tetra pillar-altar in the middle, was built during the 17th and 18th centuries. It was abandoned in the late 19th century, probably due to the dwindling of the Indian population in the area. The natural “eternal flame” went out in 1969, after nearly a century of exploitation of petroleum and gas in the area, but is now lit by gas piped from the nearby city
• Trip to “Fire Mountain “-“Yanardag” -a mountain on Abs heron peninsula, 25 km from north of Baku. Literally, word “Yanardag” means “Blazing Mountain”. Blazing bodies of flame dance on stones and floor.  Yanar dag is a natural gas fire which blazes continuously on a hillside on the Absheron Peninsula on the Caspian Sea near Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, which itself is known as the “land of fire.”
• Tour continues with a visit to Bibi-HeybatMosque which is a historical mosque in Baku, Azerbaijan. The existing structure, built in the 1990s, is a recreation of the mosque with the same name built in the 13th century by ShirvanshahFarrukhzad II Ibn Ahsitan II, which was completely destroyed by the Bolsheviks in 1936. The Bibi-Heybat Mosque includes the tomb of UkeymaKhanum (a descendant of The Islamic Prophet Muhammad), and today is the spiritual center for the Muslims of the region and one of the major monuments of Islamic architecture in Azerbaijan

30th April  NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport – Gangtok (128 Kms. / 5 Hrs)

Meet and Greet on arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra International Airport and transfer to Gangtok (5,500 Ft.). On arrival check-in to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

After breakfast check out from hotel with limited luggage and proceed to Lachung (8,738 Ft.) in North Sikkim. On the way, take a break for some beautiful spots that are worth seeing and visiting like Naga Waterfall, The Confluence of Lachen Chu (River) and Lachung Chu (River) at Chungthang and Bhim Nala Waterfall. On arrival at Lachung, check into your hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at Lachung.

Day 04: Lachung – Yumthang Valley – Gangtok (161 Kms. / 9 Hrs.)

Early Morning drive to Yumthang Valley is known as Valley of Flowers (12,000 ft / 26 Kms / 1½ Hrs. one way). Yumthang is the summer grazing ground of the yaks and winter playgrounds of yetis. On the way back, visit Hot Spring, which is considered to have medicinal properties. Back to hotel for lunch and drive to Gangtok (5,500 Ft.). On the way, if the weather is clear you may get to see the mighty Khangchendzonga from Singhik view point. On arrival at Gangtok check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 05: Gangtok – Pelling via Namchi (150 Kms. / 7 Hrs.)

After breakfast, start for Pelling (6,300 Ft. / 120 Kms. / 5 Hrs.) via Namchi to visit Siddheshwar Dham (Chardham) and Sai Temple. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 06: Pelling Full Day Sightseeing with Skywalk

After breakfast, start for a full day sightseeing tour. In first half, cover Darap village, Rimbi waterfalls, Khecheopalri Lake (Wishfulling Lake) and Khangchendzongha waterfalls. Day 08: Darjeeling Full Day Sightseeing with Tiger Hill

26th May Arrive Srinagar

Upon arrival, meet our representative and transfer to the hotel. Spend the day at leisure on boulevard road which is one of the most famous roads in Srinagar for tourists and is situated around the Dal lake surrounded by Zabarwan mountain ranges, also enjoy at Nehru Park on boulevard road.

1st Day – (Wednesday 7th June) : NJP Railway Station/IXB Airport to Phuentsholing – Pick up

Approx. Distance: 157 Km • Est. Travel Time: 5 hours

Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport and transfer to Phuentsholing (961 ft.) – The Gateway of Bhutan by Road from India. It is a thriving commercial centre on the northern edge of the Indian Plains. On arrival check in at the hotel. In the evening, you may choose to relax at the hotel or walk around the Phuentsholing town. Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.

2nd Day – (Thursday 8th June) : Phuentsholing to Thimphu – Transfer

Driving Distance – 150 Km. | Driving time – 5 Hr | Altitude of Thimphu – 2350 m.

After breakfast, complete the immigration formalities and transfer to Thimphu (7,710 ft.) the capital city of Bhutan. On the way, stop at places to view scenery and for Photography. On arrival check in at the hotel. In the evening, you may choose to relax at the hotel or take a leisure walk around the Thimphu City. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

Day 3. Thimphu Sightseeing:

After breakfast visit the Kuenselphodrang (Buddha Dordenma). Located at a short drive from Thimphu City Centre, Kuenselphodrang offers a good overview of the Thimphu valley. The largest statue of Buddha in the country sits here which houses over one hundred thousand smaller Buddha statues. Then visit the National Memorial Chorten built in the memory of the Third King of Bhutan and visit the Folk Heritage Museum. Afternoon visit Sangaygang View Point. The Lookout point offers a stunning panoramic view of the entire Thimphu. On the way back visit the Takin Preserve Centre. Takin is the National animal of Bhutan. Then visit the Changangkha Lhakhang. This is a popular Buddhist temple and is especially visited by parents to receive blessings for their new-born. Its interiors are full of murals that depict different stories. In the evening, visit the Tashichho Dzong, first built in 1216 A.D. by Lama Gyalwa Lhanangpa. The Dzong is the seat of the National Government and the Central Monastic Body, including the summer residence of the Je Khenpo (Chief Abbot of Bhutan). Overnight stay at Thimphu.

Day 4. Thimphu – Paro Excursion

Approx Distance: 55 Km • Est. Travel Time: 1 hour 30 minutes

After breakfast drive to Paro (7480 ft.). While in Paro, visit the Ta Dzong which now houses the National Museum of Bhutan with an excellent collection of arts, relics, religious thangka, etc. Visit the Paro Rinpung Dzong which literally means the “fortress of the heap of jewels”. The Dzong now serves as the administrative and judicial seat of Paro Dzongkhag. Then explore the Paro Town. Afternoon, visit the Kyichhu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan and then drive further to visit the ruins of the Drukgyel Dzong built by Tenzin Drukdra in 1649 at the behest of Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal to commemorate the victory over Tibetan invasion. On the way back take a photo stop to catch the view of the Taktshang Monastery (Tiger Nest). Further ahead stop at the Paro Airport View Point to enjoy the view and the soothing breeze for a while. Drive back to Thimphu. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

Day 5. Thimphu – Punakha/Wangdue Excursion

Approx Distance: 78 Km • Est. Travel Time: 3 hours

After breakfast drive to Punakha (4298 ft). On the way stop at Dochula Pass at 3150 m to view the higher Himalayas. The pass is approximately 25 kms away from Thimphu and is the highest point between the Thimphu and Punakha/Wangdue Valley. Another attraction is the 108 chorten/stupas (Druk Wangyel Chortens) built close to each other surrounded by numerous colorful prayer flags. Further, one the way to Punakha enjoy the winding roads and the nature at its best. While in Punakha, take a short and easy hike to visit the Chhimi Lhakhang which is also known as the “The Temple of Fertility” and was built by Lama Drukpa Kuenley, “The Devine Mad Man”. Then, visit the Punakha Dzong. Built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal the Dzong served as the seat of the Government until the time of the Second King of Bhutan. The Dzong was named Druk Pungthang Dechen Phodrang (Palace of Great Happiness). It is still the winter residence of Je-Khenpo. If time permits, visit the Suspension Bridge, which is one of the longest in Bhutan. In the evening, drive back to Thimphu. Overnight at Thimphu.

6th Day – (Monday 12th June) : Thimphu to Phuentsholing – Transfer

Approx Distance: 150 Km • Est. Travel Time: 6 hours

After breakfast, transfer to Phuentsholing (961 ft.) – The Gateway of Bhutan by Road from India. It is a thriving commercial centre on the northern edge of the Indian Plains. On arrival check in at the hotel. In the evening, explore the Phuentsholing Town. Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.

4. Water sport activities are strictly subject to weather conditions, especially Parasailing. In case the water sport company cancels any of the activities due to weather conditions, the guest will be offered a replacement of some other available water sport but there will be no refund as such.
5. Parasailing as mentioned above is an issue most of the times due to strong currents. As a result, a lot of times Adventure Parasailing is offered as an option on the spot by the water sport company – but of course there is an extra premium attached to it & the guests will be informed accordingly. In case they find that expensive then the Manual Parasailing can be replaced with Donut Boat without any extra premium.
