17 June:: Thimphu SightseeingThimphu- This bustling little city is the main center of commerce, religion and government in the country. Thimphu is the most modern city with an abundance of restaurants, internet cafes, nightclubs and shopping centers. However, it still retains its cultural identity and values amidst the signs of modernization, often referred as world only city without traffic lights. Visit Buddha Dordenma: The largest sitting Buddha statue in the world, is located at a top of the hill in Kuensel Phodrang Nature Park and overlooks the southern entrance to Thimphu valley. Drive pass by Memorial: It is located close to the center of Thimphu city and is one of its most iconic monuments. After breakfast visit Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Statue), King’s Memorial Chorten (Monument) & Folk Heritage Museum. Afternoon transfer to Punakha / Wangdue Phodrang (4,300 ft.), via Dochu-La-Pass (10,170 ft.) to view the higher Himalayas. The pass also has 108 Druk Wangyal Khangzang Chorten which is believed brings multi fold merit to all sentient beings and which make the pass a must visit place. On arrival check in at the hotel. 19 June  Punakha / Wangdue Sightseeing – Paro

After breakfast check out from hotel with bag & baggage’s and visit the Punakha Dzong – built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. For many years until the time of the second king, it served as the seat of the Government. The Dzong was named Druk Pungthang Dechen Phodrang (Palace of Great Happiness). Punakha is still the winter residence of Je-Khenpo and King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck convened the first National Assembly here in 1952.  After that take a short excursion trip to visit the Chhimi Lhakhang – The Temple, also known as “The Temple of Fertility” was built by Lama Drukpa Kuenley, “The Devine Mad Man”. 20 June: Paro SightseeingThis picturesque region in the kingdom is covered in fertile rice fields and has a beautiful, crystalline river meandering down the valley. Paro has more of historical sites, high-end tourist resort and many souvenir shops for shopping including world famous Taktsang. Taktsang Monastery (Tiger Nest Temple): is Bhutan’s most iconic landmark and religious Buddhist site in the world. The name Taktsang translates to “The Tiger’s Nest”. The temple is one of the holiest sites in Bhutan which clings impossibly to a sheer cliff face 900 meters above the valley. Although good trekkers can make it to the top in two hours, most of the guests take whole day to complete the hike.

Permit for Bhutan:

Indian nationals do not require visa to travel in Bhutan. Only a valid passport or Voter Id card are the valid documents for obtaining entry permit.

Advance Online Permits

If you are traveling with an Indian Passport (with a minimum validity of 6 months from the date of departure from Bhutan), you can avail advance online permits by sending us clear colour scanned passport copy. It should reach us before 10 working days. We shall not be responsible for any rejections or similar issues in regards to the permits due to improper documents or delay in arrival of documents.

Day 02          In Leh
Post breakfast we drive towards Kargil road and start our sightseeing with Hall of Fame near Leh, which is worth a visit for every citizen. It is a glorious museum constructed by Indian army, Kali Mata Temple, GurudwaraPatthar Sahib Nestled deep in the Himalayas, which was built by the Lamas of Leh in 1517 to commemorate the visit of Guru Nanak Dev. A drive of another 4 km takes us to Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity. It has been noticed that when a vehicle is parked on neutral gear on this metallic road the vehicle slides up & further Driving through a picturesque landscape we reach the confluence of the Indus and Zanskarriver 4 km before Nimmu village. And Visit to Alchi Gonpa, 70 Kms from Leh, on the banks of the Indus, is the Alchi Gompa dating a thousand years back. One of its walls features thousands of miniature sized pictures of the Buddha. Three large sized images made of clay and painted brightly are its focal attractions. No longer an active religious center, it is looked after by monks from the Liker monastery. This is the only monastery amongst 34 monasteries, which is not located on a hilltop.
After visiting above places we drive back to Hotel for Overnight Stay.
Day 03        Leh – Nubra Valley  via Khardong pass. (4 Hrs One Way – 120 Kms)
 After an early breakfast we drive to NUBRA VALLEY leads through KHARDUNG-LA-PASS (the highest motorable road in the world) at 18,390 ft, around 39 kms from Leh. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldorma or the valley of flowers. It is situated to the North of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. Arrive Sumur or Hunder by afternoon and rest of the day at leisure to explore beautiful village of Sumur&Hunder with a Visit to Diskit Monastery. Overnight stay at Camp.

Day 04: Nubra- Turtuk- Nubra

Nubra to Turtuk Valley and back to Nubra. Turtuk is the last village on the Indian side and was earlier on the other side of the border. The people and culture of Turtuk are very distinct and you will notice the same when you visit this place. Carry packed lunch with you. Dinner and Overnight at Nubra.
Day 05       Nubra Valley– Pangong Lake (5 Hrs One Way – 160 Kms )
Early Morning After Breakfast approx. 7:30 AM Leave For Pangong Lake (14,500 Ft). 165 Kms / 4.5 Hrs. Visit The Beautiful Pangong Lake Which Forms A Part Of The Border Area Between India And China. This Large, Serene Lake At An Altitude Of 13,930 Ft. Above The Sea Level Has A Brilliant Color Variation Including Deep Blue, Turquoise Etc. Spend Some Time On The Banks  Of Pangong Lake. This Famous Blue Brackish Lake Of Pangong Is 5/6 Kms Wide And Over 144 Kms Long And Is Shared By Two Countries (30% India And 70% China). Visit the Pangong lake and the 3 Idiots Scooter point. Dinner and overnight at Tent.

Day 06 – Pangong Lake/ LEH  (06 hours approx.)

Day 02:  – Sham Valley (Full Day Excursion)

Post breakfast we drive towards Kargil road and start our sightseeing with Hall of Fame near Leh, which is worth a visit for every citizen. It is a glorious museum constructed by Indian army, Kali Mata Temple, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib Nestled deep in the Himalayas, which was built by the Lamas of Leh in 1517 to commemorate the visit of Guru Nanak Dev. A drive of another 4 km takes us to Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity. It has been noticed that when a vehicle is parked on neutral gear on this metallic road the vehicle slides up & further Driving through a picturesque landscape we reach the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar river 4 km before Nimmu village. And Visit to Alchi Gonpa, 70 Kms from Leh, on the banks of the Indus, is the Alchi Gompa dating a thousand years back. One of its walls features thousands of miniature sized pictures of the Buddha. Three large sized images made of clay and painted brightly are its focal attractions. No longer an active religious center, it is looked after by monks from the Liker monastery. This is the only monastery amongst 34 monasteries, which is not located on a hilltop.

After visiting above places, we drive back to Hotel for Overnight Stay.
Day 03        Leh – Nubra Valley  via Khardong pass. (4 Hrs One Way – 120 Kms)
 After an early breakfast we drive to NUBRA VALLEY leads through KHARDUNG-LA-PASS (the highest motorable road in the world) at 18,390 ft, around 39 kms from Leh. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldorma or the valley of flowers. It is situated to the North of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. Arrive Sumur or Hunder by afternoon and rest of the day at leisure to explore beautiful village of Sumur&Hunder with a Visit to Diskit Monastery. Overnight stay at Camp.

Day 04: Nubra- Turtuk- Nubra

Nubra to Turtuk Valley and back to Nubra. Turtuk is the last village on the Indian side and was earlier on the other side of the border. The people and culture of Turtuk are very distinct and you will notice the same when you visit this place. Carry packed lunch with you. Dinner and Overnight at Nubra.

Day 05 – Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via shayouk river

 After your breakfast drive to pangong Lake Via shayouk River . Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometer at its widest point and over 130km long, it is bisected by the international border between India and China. A few years back the government decided to open it to tourists though the lake and its surrounding is under army surveillance. Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake. Morning leave for Omkareshwar approx. 90 Kms/ 2.5 Hrs.  It is popular for having Jyotirlinga temple known as Mamaleshwar temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple is also referred as Amareshwar temple. It is located on other side of river for which we have to cross through bridge called Mamaleshwar Setu.
