03 June          In Leh
Post breakfast we drive towards Kargil road and start our sightseeing with Hall of Fame near Leh, which is worth a visit for every citizen. It is a glorious museum constructed by Indian army, Kali Mata Temple, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib Nestled deep in the Himalayas, which was built by the Lamas of Leh in 1517 to commemorate the visit of Guru Nanak Dev. A drive of another 4 km takes us to Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity. It has been noticed that when a vehicle is parked on neutral gear on this metallic road the vehicle slides up & further Driving through a picturesque landscape we reach the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar river 4 km before Nimmu village. And Visit to Alchi Gonpa, 70 Kms from Leh, on the banks of the Indus, is the Alchi Gompa dating a thousand years back. One of its walls features thousands of miniature sized pictures of the Buddha. Three large sized images made of clay and painted brightly are its focal attractions. No longer an active religious center, it is looked after by monks from the Liker monastery. This is the only monastery amongst 34 monasteries, which is not located on a hilltop. After visiting above places we drive back to Hotel for Overnight Stay.
04 June     Leh to Nubra Valley (125 Kms / aprx. 06 hrs)
After an early breakfast we drive to NUBRA VALLEY leads through KHARDUNG-LA-PASS (the highest motorable road in the world) at 18,390 ft, around 39 kms from Leh. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldorma or the valley of flowers. It is situated to the North of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. Arrive Sumur or Hunder by afternoon and rest of the day at leisure to explore beautiful village of Sumur & Hunder with a Visit to Diskit Monastery. Overnight stay at Camp.
05 June – Nubra to Turtuk Valley and back to Nubra.

Turtuk is the last village on the Indian side and was earlier on the other side of the border. The people and culture of Turtuk are very distinct and you will notice the same when you visit this place. Carry packed lunch with you. Dinner and Overnight at Nubra.
06 June  – Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via shayouk river

After your breakfast drive to pangong Lake Via shayouk River . Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometer at its widest point and over 130km long, it is bisected by the international border between India and China. A few years back the government decided to open it to tourists though the lake and its surrounding is under army surveillance. Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake. 10 June         : Bhalukpong – Dirang (140 kms / 7 hrs.)After early breakfast drive to Dirang. On the way visit Tipi Orchidarium situated on the banks of the river Bharali, a place over 500 orchids, on display there are some rare species of orchid. Arunachal has largest range of orchids in the country then take a break to visit Nag Temple. Continue your drive and do not forget to keep your cameras handy as you cross beautiful waterfalls and get some spectacular views.

Further drive to 10 kms visit Jaswantgarh War Memorial – a memorial to the brave soldier who single handily tried to hold of approaching Chinese from the pass during the 1962 Indo-Chinese war.  Later visit majesty of Nuranng Falls where scenes from the SRK-Madhuri Dixit starrer “Koyla” were shot.  Arrive & check in to the hotel. 12 June                  Tawang Local Sightseeing
After breakfast visit Tawang Monstery world famous seventeenth century Tawang Monastery, also known as Galden Namgyal Lhatse which overlooks the wide Tawang Valley at a height of 10,000 ft. The monastery is a vast complex of 65 buildings housing Lamas and antique scriptures written in gold letters and ancient scripture, images and has an eight meters high gilded Buddha statue. It is the largest monastery in the Himalayan region and the second oldest monastery in Asia. Five hundred lamas live in its residential buildings and it is rich in.

Later visit Urgeling Gompa, 6th Dalai Lama’s birth place who is the only Indian to have risen to such a high position in Gelupka Sect of Buddhism so far. Inside the monastery there are several Stupas (Vihar) and people from all walks of life visit this place during Buddhist new year to get the blessing for the coming year. Then proceed to the War Memorial which is dedicated to the martyrs of the 1962 Sino-Indian war. The memorial is 40-foot-high and like a stupa in design. It is locally called ‘Namgyal Chortan’. The  names of 2420 martyrs imprinted in gold on 32 black granite plagues.

You can also visit the craft center in Tawang sells beautiful masks, hand woven carpets, jewellery in silver, coral and amber, ‘chubas’ the local dressand delightful affordable mementos. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Tawang
13 June : Tawang Local Sightseeing – High altitude lakes and Bumla Pass
Today morning after early breakfast, you will drive to visit high altitude lake called as Shonga-tser Lake, popularly known as Madhuri Lake located 35, kms away from Tawang near the China Border. The drive to Sangestser Lake is full of thrill and one can still see the war bankers that had been used during the Chinese aggression in 1962. Nestled amidst the pristine mountains and picturesque surrounding, It was formed in the aftermath of the 1950 earthquake. Prior to the earthquake, this piece of land used to be employed as the grazing ground for the cattle. The evidence of it can be seen in the protruding trunks of the dead trees from the middle of the lake. The lake has been under supervision of Army men, who have also arranged for a cafeteria nearby. Tourists can relish on the delicious Momos, Maggis topped with a cup of tasty coffee or tea. Tourists can also take to trekking around the lake while enjoying the gentle lashes of the pleasant breeze around. You can drive further to Bumla Pass which is located about 37 km away from Tawang at the Indo-China border over 15,200 ft above sea level. During return take a photo stop at the beautiful PTSO lake enroute (17 kms away from Tawang, Pangong Tang Tso Lake popularly known as PT Tso which is an extremely scenic drive with bird’s eye view of the township below). Later in the afternoon drive back to hotel. Rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
14 June                  Tawang – Bomdila ( 170 kms/ 8 hrs drive)
After breakfast transfer to Bomdila (8,200 ft.) – the headquarter of West Kameng District of Arunachal Pradesh and also known for its Buddhist monasteries. It has a lot of attractions for the visitors for its cool climate. On arrival check in to the hotel. Later visit Gontse Rabgyaling Monastery (Upper Gonpa), Thub-Chog Gatsel Ling Monastery (Lower Gonpa).Bomdila offers wonderfully panoramic view of Himalayan landscapes and snow clad ranges. bridge is considered one of the longest of its kind in Bhutan. The bridge connects the dzong with the villages Shengana, Samdingkha and Wangkha on the other bank of the Po Chhu river. In these small villages, locals sell their wares in tiny, traditional shops. Visitors can stop here for a quick and authentic view of true Bhutan. As we proceed to Paro, we will retrace the journey crossing over Dochula, up until Chuzom and further to Paro. After our breakfast, retrace the drive back to Paro via Dochula and Thimphu. En route stop at Lamperi Botanical Park, it is a paradise for nature lover. There are 21 animal species known in the park which has deer, tiger, leopard, red panda and also the wildcat. Paro Airport View Point: It is located on the hill overlooking the airport, this viewpoint offers the best view of the whole airport. Visit 17th century Paro Dzong: ‘Fortress on a Heap of Jewels’, is ranked one of the best Bhutanese architecture. The massive buttressed walls that tower over the town are visible throughout the valley, particularly when landing at Paro Airport.

The Dzong also offers administrative seat of the district of Paro. The Dzong was built in 1644 under the order of Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. Explore the tiny town: Tiny Paro town actually can offer lot more, there are many authentic handicraft shops, readily available Bhutan made products, grocery and imported garment shops beside having many small restaurants around. 17 June: Paro to Chelela ExcursionChele La Pass– The height of Chele La is 13084 ft (3988m) making one of the highest vantage points in Bhutan from which you can marvel at commanding spectacular views of the snowcapped Mountain Jomolhari (7326 meters) from the Chelela Pass and valleys while Himalayan yaks grazing in horizon dotted with electricity pylons. Customarily Passes are considered sacred and are usually marked with colorful prayer flags fluttering against the stiff wind of the highlands. Kyichu Lhakhang – Kyichu Lhakhang is one of the oldest and most beautiful temples. Early Morning Proceed to Saach pass .Sach Pass is a 4,414-metre-high (14,482 ft) mountain pass in Chamba District, Himachal Pradesh, India on the Pir Panjal range of the Himalayas. Enjoy full day here evening drive back to hotel.  Overnight at the hotel.
24 May             In Dalhousie – Khajjiar – Chamera Lake – Dalhousie
Morning Proceed to Khajjiar. En-route see Sardar Ajit Singh Smarak – a freedom fighter and uncle of Shahid Bhagat Singh. Visit Khaijar known as Mini Switzerland due to the striking topographical resemblance of the place with Switzerland. Here one can enjoy various activities like horse riding, Paragliding, Zorbing etc. at an additional cost. Later enjoy a scenic boat ride at Chamera lake. The Chamera is an artificial lake, which is surrounded by beautiful green trees and exquisite valleys.. Overnight at the hotel.
25 May            Dalhousie – Amritsar (Approx 4.5 Hrs. Drive)
