  • 08:30 AM onwards  Complimentary tour to Mandvi  Kutch Mandvi is an important beach famous among travellers for peace and solitude. Mandvi has beautiful white sand, serene locales and enchanting sunset views. Dist. from Tent City is approx. 140 kms one way.
  • 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM  Visit Shyamji Krishna Varma Memorial Shyamji Krishna Varma was born on 4th October 1857 in the Mandvi Town of Kutch District of Gujarat. He was one of the foremost freedom fighters in the history of freedom movement of India. The memorial’s objective is to pay tribute to the contribution of Shyamji Krishna Varma and also to educate the young generation about those great Indians who sacrificed everything for the country’s freedom. Temporarily closed due to Covid-19.
  • 01:00 PM to 02:00 PM Visit Vijay Vilas Palace The great palace of Mandvi was built in 1929 by his highness Maharao Vijay Singhji, The Maharao of Kutch, as a summer resort. This palace has a domed terrace that gives a panoramic view of the sea. It has interiors made like offices where the king used to work.

Day 4                Departure to Bhuj

Departure to Bhuj with a complimentary sightseeing on the way.11:30 AM to 2:00 PM  Complimentary sightseeing – places of interest in BhujSri Swaminarayan Temple (Approx. time 20 min) :  Made of marble, intricate carvings adorn the pillars and ceiling of the most expensive temple built in the state of Gujarat recently.Kutch Museum (Approx. time 30 min) : A visit to the Kutch Museum, to learn about the history of tribal and folk tradition of the district, will help you get to know about present-day people and their lives. Remember that visiting a museum is a great way to learn about history, but tribals are not merely part of history, they are a major part of Kutch’s (and India’s) population and cultural identity today.
(Kutch museum remains closed on Wednesday). Temporarily closed due to Covid-19.
Bhujodi (Hira Laxmi Craft Park) (Approx. time 40 min): The handicraft village Hiralaxmi Craft Park – a vision to reserve, restore and promote the art and craft of Kutch and make them accessible to the public. The handicraft village is where live artisans can be seen working.
The cost of entry (if any) will be borne by the guest.
In case guests have to reach Railway Station / Airport / Bus Stand earlier for their onward journey, they will have to arrange it on their own. Time of any such departure should be notified at the reception at the time of check-in.

Day 01: Paro Airport – Thimphu

Meet & Greet on arrival at Paro Airport and transfer to Thimphu (7,710 ft.) the capital city of Bhutan. On arrival check in at the hotel. Evening explore the Thimpu town by walk. Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day 02: Thimphu Sightseeing
After breakfast visit Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Statue) a place for refreshing with a huge statue of Buddha on the top of the Kuensel Phodrang, National Memorial Chorten (Monument) & Folk Heritage Museum. Afternoon visit Sangaygang View Point, Changangkha Monastery, Takin Preserve Centre, the national animal of Bhutan can be seen here. Day 03: Thimphu – Punakha/Wangdue Sightseeing

After breakfast drive to Punakha / Wangdue, On the way Stop at Dochu-La-Pass (3150 mts.). to view the higher Himalayas. Arrival at Punakha (4298 ft.), check in at hotel. After noon visit Punakha Dzong – built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. For many years until the time of the second king, it served as the seat of the Government. The Dzong was named Druk Pungthang Dechen Phodrang (Palace of Great Happiness). Punakha is still the winter residence of Je-Khenpo and King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck convened the first National Assembly here in 1952.  After that take a short and easy hike to visit the Chhimi Lhakhang – The Temple, also known as “The Temple of Fertility” was built by Lama Drukpa Kuenley, “The Devine Mad Man”. Day 04: Excursion to Gangtey (Phobjikha) OR Punakha Sightseeing
(Excursion to Gangtey – Distance: 78 kms. One way / Driving Time: 3 hrs.)
After breakfast, start for full day excursion trip to Gangtey (9,840 ft.). Gangtey is the home of Black Necked Crane which migrates from the arid plains of Tibet in the north. It is a beautiful valley of Bhutan. You can also visit Gangtey Gompha. Evening return back. Overnight stay at Punakha / Wangdue.
Alternatively, instead of going to Gangtey (Phobjikha), you also have an option spending the day in Punakha Valley itself. After breakfast hike Khamsum Yuelley Namgyal Chorten which is about 45 Mins easy hike to the top of the hill. It offers a breathtaking view of the Punakha Valley. Also visit Punakha Suspension Bridge and Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Nunnery. Rest of the day free for leisure. Overnight stay at Punakha / Wangdue.
Day 05: Punakha/Wangdue – Paro Sightseeing
