Jeep Safari – Kaziranga National Park (Central/Kohra Range) – Safari – Indian
The entry gate to the Central Range of Kaziranga National Park is situated in the Mihimukh area of Kohora. This range is Positioned between the Western and Eastern Ranges. A two-hour Jeep safari will offer you the spectacular views of the park’s wildlife. You may see one-horned rhinos grazing or wallowing in the expansive grasslands, herds of elephants, and various other species of flora and fauna. The Central/Kohora Range, is particularly renowned for its tiger sightings, making this safari an exceptional experience for wildlife enthusiasts. For the Jeep Safari, entry is permitted between 7:30 AM and 10:00 AM, and from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM. 14 June – Day 02: Haridwar – Guptkashi (210kms/7-8hr)  HT : 1319 MTS.
Morning after breakfast, drive straight to Guptkashi. On arrival Check In at the Hotel, evening visit Ardh Narishwar Temple. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
The name Gupt Kashi means “Hidden Benares. Mythology describes how when the Pandava brothers were searching for a glimpse of Shiva, Shivji first concealed himself at Gupt Kashi, but later fled from them further up the valley to Kedarnath, where the Pandavas finally got their wish fulfilled. There are more tangible connections as well-the Kedarnath pandas (hereditary pilgrimage priests) live in Gupt Kashi during the winter months, and after the Kedarnath temple closes for the winter, the image of Kedarnath passes through Gupt Kashi on its way to Ukhimath, where it stays for the winter.

Weather – Generally pleasant in summer, the temperature ranges from 25-30 degree Celsius. Cold in winters.

17 June – Day 05: Guptkashi – Badrinath (210kms/7-8hr)  HT : 3133 MTS.
Drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. Check in Hotel. Later at evening visit Badrinath Temple for Aarti. Overnight stay.
Badrinath one of the ‘Four Dhams’ is one of the most celebrated pilgrimage spots of the country and is situated at an elevation of 3,133 meters, guarded on either side by the two mountain ranges known as Nar & Narayan with the towering Neelkanth Peak providing a splendid backdrop. This revered spot was once carpeted with wild berries. Thus the place got the name “Badri van”, meaning “forest of berries”.
Tapt Kund : Natural thermal springs on the bank of the river Alaknanda, where it is customary to bathe before entering the Badrinath temple.
Narad Kund : A recess in the river, near Tapt Kund, forming a pool from where the Badrinath idol was recovered.
Brahama Kapal : A flat platform on the bank of river Alaknanda. Hindus perform proppitiating rites for their deceased ancestors.
Charanpaduka : 3kms. away is a beautiful meadow where the footprint of Lord Vishnu is seen on a boulder.
Mata Murty Temple : Devoted to the mother of Sri Badrinathji. Other important temples include Sesh Netra Temple, Urvashi Temple and Charanpaduka.
Mana Village : Inhabited by an Indo-Mongolian tribe, it is the last Indian village before Tibet.
Vasundhara : As the name suggests, vasundhara is a magnificent water fall. This place is 5 kms. from Badrinath out of which 2 kms. is motorable upto Mana.
Sheshnetra : 1.5kms. away is a boulder having an impression of the legendary serpent, better known as the Sheshnag’s eye

Bhim Pul : On the other side of Mana village, a massive rock forming a natural bridge, lies over the roaring Saraswati river. It presents a spectacular view of water thundering down through the narrow passage under the rock and is believed to have been placed there by Bhim, the second eldest among the five Pandava brothers.
Vyas Gufa (cave) : Near Mana Village, this is a rock-cave where Ved Vyas is believed to have composed the Mahabharata and the pauranic commentaries.

18 June – Day 06: Badrinath – Govind Ghat (25kms/1hrs)

19 June – Day 07: Govind Ghat (20kms drive) – Pulna (3kms drive local jeep) – Ghangaria (10kms/4hr Trek)

We will start early after breakfast and drive to Govindghat, further reach Pulna Village by road (Shared taxi available on direct payments basis). Pulna is a small village 3 km from Govindghat. Earlier the trek used to start from Govindghat but now a new road has been constructed between Govindghat and Pulna. From Pulna the trek to Ghangaria is 10 km. You will see beautiful mountains, waterfalls and beautiful river while you trek towards Ghangaria. You can also see beautiful birds on the way. Stay will be in hotels at Ghangaria (3000 mts).. Check in Hotel. Overnight stay.

20 June –  Day 08: Ghangaria – Hemkund Sahib – Ghangaria (6kms/4hr each side)

After breakfast, start trekking to Gurdwara Sri Hemkund Sahib, one of the holiest Sikh pilgrimages. Guru Gobind Singh meditated here. The place is described as Hemkund Parbat Sapat Sring, the “lake of ice” “mountain” adorned with “seven peaks”, surround the shrine, looming over lush green pastures. The tenth and penultimate Guru, Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji, meditated for years in these mountains, finally leaving his earthly form and uniting with the Almighty. The star-shaped Gurudwara Sri Hemkund Sahib Ji, at a height of over 4,239 mt, is as such, a memorial to Guru Gobind Singh ji and a reminder of the saint’s mission. Snow-covered peaks and mountains makes the backdrop for ‘The Hemkund Lake’. Return to Ghangria, Overnight stay. 

21 June – Day 09: Ghangaria – Govindghat (10kms trek down & 3kms by Jeep) – Joshimath (20kms)  

Return back to Govindghat, further drive to Joshimath. Check in Hotel. Rest day at leisure. Overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive to  Gulmarg via Tangmarg . Gulmarg   “Meadow of Flowers” 2730 Mts. above sea level. The distance of 140 Kms will be covered in about 3:30 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and the highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. Later visirt local market in Gulmarg. One can also have a short trek upto Khilanmarg which can be covered in about 3 to 4 hrs or enjoy the scenic view of Kongdori on a Cable Car Known as Gondola (on direct pay basis). After breakfast leave with a full day excursion for Sonmarg via Hazratbal Shrine, Ganderbal , Kangan ,Mamar .The drive from Srinagar to Sonamarg is very beautiful as you will pass through some Towns and villages, at many places you can enjoy the view of paddy fields with rivers flowing on one side. The name Sonamarg is derived from two Kashmiri words “Son” & “Marg” which mean “Gold” & “Meadow”, when put together it means “Meadow of Gold”. Situated at an altitude of 9000 Ft. Sonmarg is also called “The meadow of gold” .Sonmarg lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. The place is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lake. After breakfast, start for a full day sightseeing tour. In first half, cover Darap village, Rimbi waterfalls, Khecheopalri Lake (Wishfulling Lake) and Khangchendzongha waterfalls. In the second half cover the Pemayangtse monastery, Rabdantse ruins (2nd capital of Sikkim), Sang-Ngag Choling (Skywalk), New helipad ground.  Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Pelling.

After breakfast, transfer to Gangtok (5,500 Ft.). Via Namchi (5,500 Ft.) visit Siddheshwar Dham (Chardham) and Sai Temple. On arrival, check-in to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

After breakfast, start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft. / 37 Kms. / 02 Hrs. from Gangtok) and further drive to Baba Mandir (13,200 ft. / 16 Kms. / 01 Hrs. from Tsomgo Lake). Evening back to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

• In case of Land slide or any other reason, if Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provide alternate sightseeing.

Start for a Full day city tour covering Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre (Closed on Sunday and 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month), Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Dro-dul Chorten, Gonjang Monastery and Banjakhri Falls (maximum 6 hours). Overnight stay at Gangtok.

After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and take the departure transfers to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra International Airport for your onward journey.
