Start your journey by trek or Jeep. Optional- Take a local jeep to reach Phool Chatti to shorten your trek by 5 Kms. On arrival Pool Chatti, start your day with a tough trek of 7 Kms .Arrive at Yamunotri and pray at the temple.  31st May                    Barkot -Harsil via Uttarkashi- (Approx. 5 hrs Drive)  After breakfast, leave for Harsil, a drive of 152 kms. En route, stop at Uttarkashi for lunch. On the way stop at Gangnani for a hot water spring dip. Continue drive towards Harsil, one of the most beautiful valleys in the world, and arrive at the Char Dham Camp, set amidst an apple orchard in Dharali village, 2 kms away from the Harsil cantonment. On arrival check in for overnight stay.
 1st June            Harsil – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (Approx. 1+4 hrs drive)  After breakfast 25 kms drive to Gangotri and on arrival take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges, also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Perform Pooja after that and relax for some time in the lovely surroundings. Afternoon- drive to Uttarkashi surface approx 110 kms. On arrival check in into the Hotel.
 2nd June                     Uttarkashi -Rudraprayag ( Approx. 8 hrs Drive)  After a very early breakfast, leave for Rudraprayag surface approx. 210 kms. A late lunch is scheduled en route at Srinagar. On the way, see the heritage city of Tehri slowly sinking into the mighty waters of the Holy River Ganges, due to the construction of the Tehri Dam. After lunch, continue your journey and Reach Rudraprayag in Evening. On arrival check in into hotel.
 3rd June                  Rudraprayag – Gaurikund – Kedarnath ( Approx. 80 Kms/ 2 hrs Drive/ 14 Kms Trek – 4 Hrs) Early morning leave for Gaurikund approx. 80 Kms/ 2 Hrs. On arrival start your journey on the tough trek ahead. Stop for lunch en route and continue after that to arrive by late afternoon. Evening perform Pooja and also Darshan at Shri Kedarnathji. In the evening also visit Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi behind the temple. Night in Kedarnath. On arrival check in into Ashram. Night stay.
4th June June                     Kedarnath –  Gaurikund – Rudraprayag  ( Approx. 80 Kms/ 2 hrs Drive/ 14 Kms Trek – 4 Hrs) Morning perform Pooja and also Darshan at Shri Kedarnathji. In the evening also visit Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi behind the temple. Treek back to gaurikund. have lunch and Leave for Rudraprayag. Overnight at Hotel.
5th June               Rudraprayag – Badrinath (Approx. 170 Kms/  6 Hrs Drive) After breakfast leave for Shri Badrinathji by surface approx. 170 kms. On arrival take the holy Darshan and spend time visiting Mana village -the last village before the Tibetan border. Return to the hotel for dinner. Overnight stay at Joshimath.
6th June                       Badrinath- Rudraprayag (Approx 7 hrs Drive) Morning relax and have darshan at Badrinath. Visit Joshimath and Other places on the way. Afternoon Leave for Rudraprayag.  Overnight stay at hotel.
 7th June                       Rudraprayag- Rishikesh (Approx 7 hrs Drive)  After breakfast leave for Rishikesh by surface approx. 150 kms. Continue the journey and if time permits, visit Devprayag ( The confluence of rivers Alaknanda and Bhagirathi, which become the Ganga). Reach Rishikesh. Check in Hotel. Evening visit Laxamn Jhula and Ram Jhula and see the evening arati. Overnight stay at hotel.
8th June                     Rishikesh – Haridwar –Delhi (Approx 8 hrs Drive) Morning depart for Delhi by surface approx. 290 kms. Enroute take darshat at Haridwar. After darshan continue drive for Delhi. Reach Delhi & drop at N DelhiRailway station. Train for Indore at 9:50 Pm. Night in Train. SL Class

Then we visit the country’s oldest building, The Castle & the Company Gardens, both historically fascinating. Continues to Parliament Buildings, City Hall and the Slave Lodge. Along the way we stop at the Knysna Elephant Park for a tour to get up close with these gentle giants then last but not least once we have headed into Knysna you will experience a sunset cruise on the Knysna Lagoon on the infamous John Benn cruise. Boating

The first and foremost activity of a tourist in Thekkady is Boating in the Lake. One can see the wild animals along the gringe of the lake foraging, bathing, drinking and resting. It would be a greater fun if one is lucky enough to see the elephants playing with their babies in the lake.

#Khajrana Ganesh Temple

An important pilgrimage center, Khajrana Ganesh temple in Indore is a devotees delight. This temple, which is built by Rani Ahilya Bai Holkar is a crowd puller in the locality. Chhatris (cenotaphs) are the royal tombs of the erstwhile rulers of the Holker clan. The typical Maratha style architecture with domes and pyramidal spires, Chhatris allures the tourists with its historical enigma. #Lal Bagh Palace

Built between the late 19th and early 20th century, the Lal Bagh Palace is one of the finest architectural evidence left by the great Holkar dynasty. Located in the modern day Indira Nagar in Indore, the Lal Bagh Palace has evolved into a major local attraction of Indore receiving a huge footfall of tourists visiting this beautiful city.

The Palace demonstrates the lifestyle of Maratha rulers in an elaborate form. As was the trend among the late Indian Nobility, the gorgeous interior is largely dominated by the European architecture along with beautiful Italian marble pillars. The main gates of the Lal Bagh Palace were shipped from England and are a replica of the gates of Buckingham Palace, London. The gates also carry the Holkar state emblem.

#Kanch Mandir

Kanch Mandir is actually a Jain Temple located at Indore. Indore abounds in numerous temples and heritage sires. One of them is the Kanch Mandir. This temple is one of the prime attractions at Indore at present. The Jains are supposed to be the followers of Mahavira. It is a stringent religion and harder than Buddhism. Mahavira was the last Tirthankara. A Tirthankara is the one who creates the four fold order namely the Monk, Nun, Layman and the laywoman. There are two different sects of Jains. They are Digamvara and the Svetambara. While the latter wears white clothes the latter does not wear any. Jainism has been elaborately inscribed in the glass paintings of the Kanch Mandir, Indore.

#Rajwada
Rajwada is a magnificent and historical palace that is located in the city of Indore and was constructed by the Holkars more than 200 years ago. It is a seven-storied structure located near the Chhatris and serves as an excellent example of royal grandeur and architectural skills. Located near the famous Kajuri Market in Indore, Rajwada stands out from the surroundings. However, there are two parts to this architectural landmark – The newer one lies in the northern part of the city while the older one, lies in the old town place.
Nestled between the crowded streets of the Kajuri Bazar and facing the main square of the city, the Rajwada palace also faces a well-maintained garden that houses a statue of Queen Ahilya Bai, an artificial waterfall and some beautiful fountains. Even after all these years, the palace continues to be one of the most famous tourist spots in Indore and is one of the oldest structures too.

#Mattupetty Dam

Mattupetty dam and its reservoir  is  located 13 km away from Munnar.  This concrete gravity dam is built between the hill ranges and it is used mainly for water storage for hydroelectric projects. Its reservoir is an idyllic place to enjoy the serene nature. It is also said to be one of the waterholes where the elephants in the region often visit.

Kundala Lake is an artificial reservoir of a minor arch shaped dam huddled between the mountain ranges. It is about a 20 km drive from Munnar. There is boating facility there..and  don’t forget to go for a Shikara boat ride while you are there.

#Echo Point

Echo Point  is about 15 km from Munnar. Go there and scream as loud as you can..and wait for a minute. You can hear your echo back! Its quite interesting. If you have kids with you..they will love it. They can experience this natural phenomenon firsthand.

Rajamala, part of Eravikulam national park, is located at about 15 kms from Munnar.  This region is the natural habitat of the Nilgiri Tahr (Hemitragas hylocres). It was converted to a national park to provide a safe sanctuary  for the already endangered species of Nilgiri Tahr.

#Tea Museum

This tea museum is first of its kind in India. It is located at KDHP’s Nullatanni estate in Munnar. The aim of this museum according to its founders is to showcase the growth of more-than-a-century-old tea plantations in this region. Anyone visiting this museum will get a clear  picture of how laborious this tea processing really is.

 
#Attukad Waterfalls

Now this is a scenic waterfalls located between Munnar and Pallivasal. It is just 9 km away from Munnar. But this waterfalls will be in its full glory only after the monsoon (Rainy season). During other seasons, it is just a trickling mountain stream.
