07 March : Guwahati Airport / Rly Station – Shillong (100 kms / 03 hrs.)
On arrival at Guwahati Airport at 05:35 am. After fresh up and change depart to Shillong (4,900 ft.), called ‘Scotland of the East”. Enroute visit Umium Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Evening at your leisure. Overnight stay at Shillong.

08 March:  In Shillong
After breakfast , Visit Shillong Peak (Subject to Operation). Later visit Don Bosco Museum (Subject to operation) – One of the most Hi-tech museums in India. Ward’s Lake , Lady Hydra park , Catholic Church Shillong , Air Force Museum, Spread Eagles falls, Enjoy breathtaking view of the Umangot River.  Stay overnight at your hotel in Shillong.

10 March        In Dawki
After early breakfast drive to Proceed to Mawlynnong village – Asia’s cleanest village, Where you can enjoy scenic beauty of nature, beautiful Small house of villagers and Living root bridge – suspension bridge formed of living plant roots by tree shaping. Later we visit Dawki village to enjoy boat ride in one of the cleanest river of India known as Umngot river – the water of the river is so clear that the boats appear to float over it. See India Bangaldesh border at Tamabil. Arrive at Shilong in the evening. Overnight stay at Dawki.

11 March        Dawki – Cherrapunjee (Approx 84 kms / 04 hrs)
After breakfast  drive to Cherrapunjee (4,400 ft.), the wettest place in the world. On the way enjoy Mawkdok Valley, Nohkalikai falls – the tallest plunge waterfall in India, Dainthelen Falls and Ramkrishna Mission (drive pass). On arrival at Cherrapunjee, check in at your hotel. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.

Day 2 – 24 Dec: Hanoi – Ha Long, welcome on the boat (SIC)

Departure for Ha Long Bay is around 8:00 AM in a shared van (about 4 hours) from your hotel. Arrive at the port around noon. Welcomed on board, you are taken to your cabin before the trip briefing. You enjoy a fresh and local seafood lunch while cruising to explore the magic Bai Tu Long Bay. Stop for a swim and visit the mysterious cave. Relax at our secluded island-beach. Later you return back to the boat just in time to watch the beautiful sunset from the top deck before enjoying the bay’s freshest seafood dinner. Overnight on the cruise.

Day 3 – 25 Dec: Explore Bai Tu Long Bay – Hanoi (SIC)

Early risers can enjoy the sunrise and the quiet breath-taking beauty of Bay’s landscape with towering limestone. You have breakfast at around 8:00 AM before our short rowboat by the locals of the bay. Have brunch on the boat as we slowly cruise back to boat pier. Hit the road back to Ha Noi.

On arrival in My Tho City, board a motorboat and navigate through intricate canals while observing the local daily life up close as well as the landscape of waterways and lush islands. Land on Thoi Son Island where you can listen to Southern traditional music performed by native artists. Next, you will change to a paddle boat to cruise through the narrow canals and visit households with traditional occupations of home-based coconut candy and rice-wine making.  Continue travel by motorized boat to another island to visit a bee farm and taste tea with fresh honey from the beehives and enjoy fresh fruits. On the return to My Tho, stop to visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda, a prominent local Buddhist structure built in 1850 with a unique architectural mixture of Vietnamese, Roman, Chinese and Cambodian styles characterized by a highly ornate façade.  At the end of the tour, you will find the way back to Ho Chi Minh.
