Ramboda Waterfall

This foamy cascade of water is the 11th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and is 109m high.

Hanuman Temple

Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple is one of the important Hanuman Temples in Sri Lanka located on summit of the very beautiful picturesque mountain in Ramboda 30 KM north to Nuwara Eliya, the gateway to the tea country hill station of Sri Lanka. This Hanuman Temple in Ramboda was constructed by Chinmaya Mission of Sri Lanka.

Seetha Amman Temple

Adding a cultural dimension, the Seetha Amman Temple, nestled in the hills, is associated with the Hindu epic Ramayana. The temple’s serene surroundings and the mythological connection contribute to the spiritual ambiance of Nuwara Eliya.

Haggala Botanical Gardens

Hakgala Botanical Garden is situated on the Nuwara Eliya-Badulla main road, 16 km from Nuwara Eliya and extents for about 28 hectares. The garden has a cool temperate climate because of altitude is 5,400 feet above sea level.

Gregory Lake

Nestled in the heart of Nuwara Eliya, Gregory Lake invites visitors to indulge in leisurely boat rides or lakeside strolls. The well-manicured surroundings and the cool mountain air create a tranquil atmosphere, making it a popular spot for relaxation.

 Victoria Park

Victoria Park, a meticulously maintained garden, reflects the town’s colonial heritage. The park’s pathways are adorned with vibrant flower beds, providing a serene space for picnics, birdwatching, and unwinding amidst the beauty of nature.

The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary – declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978 is one of the world’s most fascinating wild life reserves stretching to a total of 777sq km of which 360 km is thick ever green forest. Allows visitors from 6 am to 6 pm, entry fees of Rs.33/- for an Indian adult, Rs.5/- per Indian child, Rs.450/- per foreigner adult and Rs.155/- per foreigner child. Boating at the Periyar lake is an activity much sought by tourists who visit Thekkady because wild animals can be spotted during the session. Costs Rs.225/- per person. Online booking is recommended to avoid queues. Jeep safari is a fun optional activity to enjoy if you have an adventurous bone. The charges for a safari may approximately cost Rs.1500/- per person. .. Morning depart by surface for Kumarakom approx. 160 kms / 4 hrs. arrive in Kumarakom, check in hotel. Afternoon you can take opportunity to try out the famous Kerala Ayurvedic massage or take a boat ride on the scenic backwater of Kerala. (on own).  Overnight at Hotel.
