Day 01: Paro Airport – Thimphu
(Distance: 65 kms. / Driving Time: 2 hrs. / Altitude of Thimphu: 2350 mts.)
Meet & Greet on arrival at Paro Airport and transfer to Thimphu (7,710 ft.) the capital city of Bhutan. On arrival check in at the hotel. Evening explore the Thimphu town by walk. Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day 02: In Thimphu Sightseeing
Morning after breakfast visit Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Statue) a place for refreshing with a huge statue of Buddha on the top of the Kuensel Phodrang, National Memorial Chorten (Monument) & Folk Heritage Museum. Afternoon visit Sangaygang View Point, Changangkha Monastery, Takin Preserve Centre, the national animal of Bhutan can be seen here, Tashichho Dzong (Fortress of the Glorious Religion). Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day 03: Thimphu – Punakha/Wangdue Sightseeing
(Distance: 77 kms. / Driving Time: 3 hrs. / Altitude of Punakha: 1310 mts.)
After breakfast start an excursion to Punakha (4298 ft.) / Wangdue, On the way Stop at Dochu-La-Pass (3150 mts.) to view the higher Himalayas, visit Punakha Dzong – built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. For many years until the time of the second king, it served as the seat of the Government. The Dzong was named Druk Pungthang Dechen Phodrang (Palace of Great Happiness). Punakha is still the winter residence of Je-Khenpo and King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck convened the first National Assembly here in 1952.  After that take a short and easy hike to visit the Chhimi Lhakhang – The Temple, also known as “The Temple of Fertility” was built by Lama Drukpa Kuenley, “The Devine Mad Man”. Evening back to Thimpu. Overnight stay at Thimpu.

Day 04: Thimphu – Paro Sightseeing
(Distance: 65 kms. / Driving Time: 2 hrs. / Altitude of Paro: 2280 mts.)
After breakfast transfer to Paro( 7483 ft.). On the way visit the Tamchog Lhakhang – It is situated between Thimphu and Paro and it was built in the 13th century by Thangthong Gyalpo. He is also known as the Iron bridge builder. Situated on a hill top, we have to cross an ancient style bridge to reach the temple. On arrival in Paro, check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Ta Dzong – National Museum with an excellent collection of arts, relics, religious thangkha, etc. Rinpung Dzong – Meaning “fortress of the heap of jewels”. The dzong now serves as the administrative and judicial seat of Paro. Overnight stay at Paro.

Day 05: Paro Sightseeing
After breakfast hike to the famous Taktsang Monastery – called “Tiger’s Nest” (2hrs hike from the base camp). Later visit Drukgyel Dzong & Kyichu Monastery. Overnight stay at Paro.
Day 06: Excursion to Chele-La-Pass
(Distance: 35 kms. One way / Driving Time: 2 hrs. / Altitude of Chele-La-Pass: 3810 mts.)
After breakfast excursion trip to Chele-La-Pass (13,088 ft.) – the highest motorable road in Bhutan. Enjoy the scenic beauty & memorable landscapes from Chele-La-Pass. Back to Paro. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Paro.
Day 07: Paro Airport
After breakfast check out from hotel and drop at Paro Airport for your onward journey

Please Note :-Permit for Bhutan:
Indian nationals do not require any visa for Bhutan. A permit will be issued at the entry point on production of a passport or Voter ID and 04 passport size photographs.
Restricted Area Permit for Punakha / Wangdue:
Restricted Area Permit is required to visit Punakha / Wangdue from Home Ministry of Bhutan. No charge will be applicable for this permit. Please bring 02 passport size photographs and Voter ID card or Passport of each person including child. This special permit is given only after guest has entered Bhutan. Permits are not issued on Saturday, Sunday & Govt. holidays.

Start your journey by trek or Jeep. Optional– Take a local jeep to reach Phool Chatti to shorten your trek by 5 Kms. On arrival Pool Chatti, start your day with a tough trek of 7 Kms. 7th June         Barkot – Harsil via Uttarkashi- (Approx. 5 hrs Drive)
After breakfast, Proceed to Harsil, a drive of 152 kms. En route, stop at Uttarkashi for lunch. On the way stop at Gangnani for a hot water spring dip. Continue drive towards Harsil, one of the most beautiful valleys in the world, and arrive at the Chardham Camp, set amidst an apple orchard in Dharali village, 2 kms away from the Harsil cantonment. 8th June          Harsil – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (Approx. 1+2 hrs drive)
After breakfast 25 kms drive to Gangotri and on arrival take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges, also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Perform Pooja after that relax for some time in the lovely surroundings. Afternoon- drive to Uttarkashi surface approx 60 kms. check in to the Hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
9th June         Uttarkashi – Guptkashi ( Approx. 5 hrs Drive)
After an early breakfast, leave for Guptkashi by surface approx. 145 kms. on the way see the heritage city of Tehri slowly sinking into the mighty waters of the Holy River Ganges, due to the construction of the Tehri Dam. After lunch continue your journey and today for the first time see the beautiful river Mandakini. Travel alongside the river to reach Guptakashi late in the evening. check in into hotel. 10th June       Guptakashi – Kedarnath (Approx. 1 hrs drive & trek 14 Kms/ 4 hrs)
After breakfast leave for Gaurikund (35 KMS drive-one way). On arrival start your journey on the tough trek ahead or Horse or Palki (On Your Own). Stop for lunch en route and continue to Kedarnath trek. After reaching Kedarnath check inn at hotel. Participate evening aarti, perform Pooja and also Darshan at Shri Kedarnathji.
